“After a little while the world will no longer see Me, but you will see Me; because I live, you will live also.” John 14:19.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

What Jesus revealed to you at that Passover supper known as the Last Supper is so important for you to understand to live your life to the fullest that I had to send you the Holy Spirit, not only to unfold it for you, but also to live it in you.

In this Life Lesson I want to primarily focus on one line that Jesus revealed to you on that night: “Because I live, you will live also.” John 14:19. This tells you what you have in Christ and why I sent Him to you.

Without Him you would never rise from the grave, the sentence of dust you are and to dust you shall return would still be the governing law for all of you from Adam on to this day and forever. Adam knowingly stepped out from under the jurisdiction of My Word, rejected Me, and submitted to the lies of the devil.

For I delight in faithful love rather than sacrifice, and in the knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings. But like Adam they have transgressed the covenant; there they have dealt treacherously against Me. Hosea 6:6-7.

Adam exchanged the truth for a lie and gave his dominion authority to a new master thinking that he would be his own source. You cannot serve two masters. His spirit died to Me and was born again by the corruptible seed of the lies of the devil. And he had the free will and authority to do so. But it had consequences for him and all his seed. He had aligned himself under a master that was headed to hell and that became his destination as well. He chose to live in darkness rather than in My light. And this made him fear. You become like your master.

“By the sweat of your face you will eat bread, till you return to the ground, because from it you were taken; for you are dust, and to dust you shall return.” Genesis 3:19.

Every thought of man became evil. I was grieved. Your life would perish.

All flesh that moved on the earth perished, birds and cattle and beasts and every swarming thing that swarms upon the earth, and all mankind; of all that was on the dry land, all in whose nostrils was the breath of the spirit of life, died. Genesis 7:21-22.

Adam had cut himself off from Me like a branch severed from the vine, and by his sin, your spirits had become dead to Me and alive to sin and in that state, you were no better than the beasts of the field.

No man can by any means redeem his brother or give to God a ransom for him—for the redemption of his soul is costly that he would not cease forever, that he should live on eternally, that he should not go to the pit of destruction . . . But man in his pomp will not endure; he is like the beasts that perish. This is the way of those who are foolish, and of those after them who approve their words. Selah. As sheep they are appointed for Sheol; death shall be their shepherd; and the upright shall rule over them in the morning, and their form shall be for Sheol to consume so that they have no habitation. But God will redeem my soul from the power of Sheol, for He will receive me. Selah . . . Man in his pomp, yet without understanding, is like the beasts that perish. Psalm 49:7-20.

Through Adam sin and death entered the world. You must understand this to understand what you have in Jesus your Messiah, the wages of sin is death, eternal death. That is justice. I am love and evil cannot enter love’s realm. It is simply unable to do so. It is not a matter up for debate, leniency, or compromise. It simply cannot be with Me. It is foreign to Me and can find no place in Me. To enter into Me and live with Me you had to be freed from sin and be perfected in love.

Since you have in obedience to the truth purified your souls for a sincere love of the brethren, fervently love one another from the heart, for you have been born again not of seed which is perishable but imperishable, that is, through the living and enduring word of God. For, “All flesh is like grass, and all its glory like the flower of grass. The grass withers, and the flower falls off, but the word of the Lord endures forever.” And this is the word which was preached to you. 1 Peter 1:22-25.

Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loves us and released us from our sins by His blood— and He has made us to be a kingdom, priests to His God and Father—to Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen. Revelation 1:5-6.

Though your sins were red as crimson they had to be made white as snow. Isaiah 1:18.

They have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Revelation 7:14.

Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor perverts, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God. 1 Corinthians 6:9-11.

Justified in the Name of Jesus and in My Spirit. Your sins and lawless deeds had to be not just forgiven but removed and your spirits had to be born again from death to life, from being dead to Me and alive to sin to being alive to Me and dead to sin.

For by one offering He has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified. And the Holy Spirit also testifies to us; for after saying, “This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the LORD: I will put My laws upon their heart, and on their mind I will write them,” He then says, “And their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.” Hebrews 10:14-17.

Jesus answered and said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3:3.

And thus came redemption.

“I have wiped out your transgressions like a thick cloud and your sins like a heavy mist. Return to Me, for I have redeemed you.” Isaiah 44:22.

I had the remedy of redemption planned from before the foundation of the world I spoke it to the devil before Adam and Eve that day in the Garden when they betrayed Me.

“And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; He shall crush you on the head, and you shall bruise him on the heel.” Genesis 3:15.

The incorruptible seed of My Word born of a virgin with no taint of Adam’s corruptible seed would crush the devil’s head, that is, his authority over mankind.

And here you must understand propitiation as well. When Adam murdered the eternal life in himself and his descendants by following the lies of the devil, for the devil is a murderer from the beginning, divine justice could only be satisfied one way: an eternal life paid for the eternal life lost. A life for a life. Deuteronomy 19:21. And the life is in the blood.

For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you on the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood by reason of the life that makes atonement.’ Leviticus 17:11.

The seed of the man determines the blood, a redeemer to pay the ransom had to be of flesh and blood but it had to be one with eternal flesh and eternal blood to work an eternal redemption. But there was no one with that eternal life in the flesh, as Adam was created but lost, to give for all were born of Adam’s seed and the blood was perishable and corrupt. Hence, the virgin birth of Jesus by the planting of My Word and the power of the Spirit. The virgin with child who was God with you.

Therefore, since the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also partook of the same, that through death He might render powerless him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and might free those who through fear of death were subject to slavery all their lives. Hebrews 2:14-15.

But when Christ appeared as a high priest of the good things to come, He entered through the greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this creation; and not through the blood of goats and calves, but through His own blood, He entered the holy place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. Hebrews 9:11-12.

But the devil would bruise his heel, the sting of sin is death and Jesus took that sting out of you onto Himself. Just as all the venom left the bodies of the children of Israel who had been stung by the snakes in the desert when Moses raised up the bronze serpent on the pole for them to gaze upon in faith, so it is with My Son on the Cross. John 3:15. He went down to the dust of death to take your condemnation, but I raised Him from the dead for your justification. And it is My Will, that you who behold Him with faith are saved and He will raise you up on the Last Day. John 6:40.

O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?” The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law; but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:55-57.

But we do see Him who was made for a little while lower than the angels, namely, Jesus, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, so that by the grace of God He might taste death for everyone. Hebrews 2:9.

My strength is dried up like a potsherd, and my tongue cleaves to my jaws; and You lay me in the dust of death. Psalm 22:15.

You had to be made righteous as I am righteous to abide with Me. And I took care of that in Jesus, for I AM the LORD your righteousness.

He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. 2 Corinthians 5:21.

That is why Jesus told Peter if He did not wash him he had no place with Him. The devil never found a place in Jesus because He walked in love with no taint of anything else, pure love of Me and His fellow man. My Word is pure and He only said My Words and did My Works. My Words are eternal life. And that is why I can give you, who are living in Him by accepting His substitutionary sacrificial death and resurrection into your heart, by the divine exchange, eternal life in Him. His body and blood paid the costly price that no one else could pay for your ransom and redemption. You now live through, with, and in Him by faith in the One who loved you and gave His life for you that you might live now and forever.

Because He died once for all and was raised from the dead you also can be raised up with Him to newness of life. A life unto Me.

What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin so that grace may increase? May it never be! How shall we who died to sin still live in it? Or do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus have been baptized into His death? Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life. For if we have become united with Him in the likeness of His death, certainly we shall also be in the likeness of His resurrection, knowing this, that our old self was crucified with Him, in order that our body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin; for he who has died is freed from sin. Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him, knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, is never to die again; death no longer is master over Him. For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God. Even so consider yourselves to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus. Romans 6:1-11.

All this is done only one way: by Covenant.

So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in yourselves. He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day. For My flesh is true food, and My blood is true drink. He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him. As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who eats Me, he also will live because of Me. This is the bread which came down out of heaven; not as the fathers ate and died; he who eats this bread will live forever.” John 6:53-58.

As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us . . . As for man, his days are like grass; as a flower of the field, so he flourishes. When the wind has passed over it, it is no more, and its place acknowledges it no longer. But the lovingkindness of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him, and His righteousness to children’s children, to those who keep His covenant and remember His precepts to do them. Psalm 103:12; 15-18.

Because He died to sin, you died to sin, and when I raised Him, I raised you too in justification. And born again of His Word and regenerated by My Spirit in you and on you, He has made you holy, blameless and beyond reproach before Me.

For it was the Father’s good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him, and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven. And although you were formerly alienated and hostile in mind, engaged in evil deeds, yet He has now reconciled you in His fleshly body through death, in order to present you before Him holy and blameless and beyond reproach. Colossians 1:19-22.

Because He lives, you live. Forever. Eternal life is in My Son.

Who is the one who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? This is the One who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ; not with the water only, but with the water and with the blood. It is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth. For there are three that testify: the Spirit and the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement . . . And the testimony is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life. 1 John 5:5-13.

Jesus is the only way to life eternal, there is no other way than the new and living way, the blood of the Lamb and the Word of your testimony in the power of the Spirit.

Therefore, brethren, since we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He inaugurated for us through the veil, that is, His flesh, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Hebrews 10:19-22.

Jesus gave His eternal life in the flesh to do for you what you could not do. It is no longer your fault. He took all your faults and failings, sins and lawless deeds, illnesses and pains, grief and sorrow, as His own and gave to you His sinless perfection and perfect health.

Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death. For what the Law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, God did: sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh, so that the requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. Romans 8:1-4.

Because He lives, you live.

By this the love of God was manifested in us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world so that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 1 John 4:9-10.

In Him you live and move and have your being, for I have created you anew in Christ Jesus to walk in the good deeds I prepared for you in advance. Ephesians 2:10. Fruitful. For as He is, so are you in this world.

We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. By this, love is perfected with us, so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment; because as He is, so also are we in this world. 1 John 4:16-17.

Have you been with Me all this time and still do not understand? Your life is all wound up with the Lamb, and He is there for you. And it all has to do with eating His body and drinking His blood so that you can live through, with, and in Him forever. Unique but unified into the body of Christ. My plan of shalom and not evil, to give you a future and a hope. And I had it in place from the foundation of the world. Make Him your foundation as well.

And coming to Him as to a living stone which has been rejected by men, but is choice and precious in the sight of God, you also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 2:4-5.

I love you with an everlasting love and that is why I gave you Jesus. I do not love you because of Jesus, I gave you Jesus because I love you and want you with Me forever. And My Will prospered in His hands so that by His obedience your disobedience is taken care of. There is still much more to say about this but this is enough for today.

The gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned; for on the one hand the judgment arose from one transgression resulting in condemnation, but on the other hand the free gift arose from many transgressions resulting in justification. For if by the transgression of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ. So then as through one transgression there resulted condemnation to all men, even so through one act of righteousness there resulted justification of life to all men. For as through the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the One the many will be made righteous. Romans 5:16-25.
