For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them. Ephesians 2:10.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

Do you know why you were created and what your life is about? Many people are seeking the answers to these questions, so they invent human philosophies, religions, scientific theories, self-help programs, and doctrines that try to assuage the confusion and the longing of men’s hearts for righteousness, peace, and joy but never make them complete.

There are many godless counselors today, and My Son warned about the blind leading the blind, for they both end up in a ditch. The pit of destruction, broken, empty cisterns that hold no living water.

But today I want to talk to you about the truth that will set you free from all confusion, the love that will give you joy unspeakable filled with glory, and the wonderful counselor who knows everything past, present, and future and is with you and in you. And He is willing to disclose to you everything, as much as you are able to receive. What you need is not just temporal, it is the understanding of the temporal through walking in and with the eternal now and forever.

Many worldly philosophies and doctrines mimic My teachings today, especially with respect to monitoring your thoughts and words and exploring the laws that I have put in creation that can bring amazing results, and so fool many for their semblance of truth, yet they are counterfeit, lacking the most important part—the source of power, the source of joy, the source of righteousness, and the source of shalom peace. And without the source you soon run dry. They lack knowledge of the One who created it all and sustains it all. But above that the One who loves you with a love beyond what the world counts as love, cares for you in every facet of your being, and has eternity planned for you before you were even conceived in your mother’s womb. And they don’t understand or know the One who emptied Himself and put your well-being and best interests ahead of His own for whom and in whom you were created from the beginning.

There was the true Light which enlightens every person coming into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. He came to His own, and those who were His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, who were [i]born, not of [j]blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.  And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:9-14.

And that was the problem from the beginning, man tried to cut himself off from his source and became like a fish out of water or a plant pulled up by the roots from the earth. Without living in the medium out of which I created it, the creature cannot thrive or even survive.

When I created the fish, I spoke to the sea to bring them forth, when I created the plants and trees, I spoke to the earth to bring them forth, when I created man, I spoke to Myself and brought you forth from deep within Me, particularly to be like Christ, My Son. I called Adam my child, Luke 3:38, but he disengaged himself from that. But Jesus brought you back, and in Him I created you anew for good works. He got you back on track for the life I created you to live, so you could thrive and not just barely surviving. In Him I make you complete, lacking in no good thing. For I am your Shepherd, and Jesus fulfills that, there is nothing you shall want, no good thing you shall lack.

O taste and see that the LORD is good; how blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him! O fear the LORD, you His saints; for to those who fear Him there is no want. The young lions do lack and suffer hunger; but they who seek the LORD shall not be in want of any good thing. Psalm 34:8-10.

Why were you created and what is your purpose? I have the answer for you, and it is the foundation on which the world was built, and it is unshakable.

See to it that you do not refuse Him who is speaking. For if those did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, much less will we escape who turn away from Him who warns from heaven. And His voice shook the earth then, but now He has promised, saying, “Yet once more I will shake not only the earth, but also the heaven.” This expression, “Yet once more,” denotes the removing of those things which can be shaken, as of created things, so that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, by which we may offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe; for our God is a consuming fire. Hebrews 12:25-29.

In Jesus, I have given you all treasures of wisdom and knowledge. The answers you seek are found in Him, and He is My Word. Everything was made by Him (My Word) and for Him (My Son), and thus, for you as My child and heir—joint heirs with Christ.

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything. Colossians 1:15-18.

Jesus shared so much that was beyond what the disciples could understand at the Last Supper, including the impact of what they had received and would carry on in the remembrance of Him. That night they learned of the New and everlasting Covenant that Jeremiah had prophesied instituted by the Lord your righteousness and brought to fruition in all its glory on the Cross and full justification in the resurrection of Christ from the dead. They partook of the Eucharist, of the communion meal, the true Passover fully come from its shadows to the substance, becoming the perpetual and eternal memorial of My Son and your redemption from slavery to freedom, from condemnation to justification, from death to eternal life.

And it all is brought to fruition in you, just as the bread and wine is changed into the Body and Blood of My Son, by the Holy Spirit. Never underestimate the Holy Spirit. Never ignore His witnessing with your spirit, His promptings, His warnings, and His correction.

He manifests in many ways—My breath, wind, flame, the gentle dove, living water, and the priest and king Melchizedek. But above all He is your wonderful counselor, helper, advocate, guide, leader, teacher, partner at the helm with you, prayer partner, problem solver, fruit producer, skill giver, wisdom giver, discerner, and the One who never leaves you but is in you and with you forever.

Jesus told you He would send you another Paraclete (advocate, helper, teacher by your side) just like Him to be in you and with you always.

Yesterday we started looking at the awesome truths Jesus told you about the One He fondly calls “the Spirit of truth,” who the world does not know because they cannot see Him, but He will teach you all things and remind you of all Jesus said. He testifies to Jesus from the beginning of the Bible to the end and He does the same to and in you. Jesus so honors the Spirit that He declared that you would be forgiven for whatever you say about Jesus but you will not be forgiven if you ever blaspheme the purity of the Holy Spirit by likening Him to an unclean spirit, as the Pharisees did when they accused Jesus of casting out the demons by the devil and being possessed of an unclean spirit.

And Jesus so understands the greatness of the individual way the Holy Spirit can fellowship with, teach, and empower each one of you that He told the surprised and grieving disciples that it was better for them if He left them in terms of His physical presence as they had known Him in His ministry among them as their teacher and Lord and return to Me in the Kingdom so that the Holy Spirit could come to them.

“But now I am going to Him who sent Me; and none of you asks Me, ‘Where are You going?’ But because I have said these things to you, sorrow has filled your heart. But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you.” John 16:5-7.

The word that was used in the Greek language in which this passage was written is “paraklétos (παράκλητος),” which means an advocate, intercessor, called to one’s aid, a consoler, comforter, helper. Paráklētos is from “pará,” meaning “close-beside,” and “kaléō,” meaning “make a call” – properly, a legal advocate who makes the right judgment-call because close enough to the situation. Generally it means an attorney (lawyer); someone giving evidence that stands up in court.

My Spirit testifies to you that your sins and offenses I remember no more when you are in Christ Jesus, for He legally justified you by bearing all your sins and receiving the punishment due them as your substitute. And My Spirit witnesses with your spirit that you are My children.

In the court of Heaven witness with My Spirit and declare yourself righteous with My own righteousness in Christ Jesus. Declare yourself beloved, forgiven, blessed, and favored. By your words you are declared righteous and by your words you are condemned. Two witnesses establish a fact so you choose who you will witness with—the Holy Spirit or the devil. The devil is trying to get you to condemn yourself so you witness with him and establish your unrighteousness and declare yourself guilty. And the Holy Spirit is trying to lead you to witness with Him to acquit yourself and establish yourself in righteousness so that you will be far from oppression. Isaiah 54:14. Remember you overcome the accuser of the brethren, that ancient serpent the devil, with the blood of the Lamb and the Word of your testimony.

And He, when He comes, will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment; concerning sin, because they do not believe in Me; and concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father and you no longer see Me; and concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged. John 16:8-11.

When the Holy Spirit comes, and He has come now, Jesus told you that He would convict the world, not condemn the world, but offer soothing advice as the Spirit of truth concerning three aspects of divine justice—sin, righteousness and judgment. I have condemned sin in the flesh on My Son and given you the gift of My own righteousness in Him. If you believe in My Son’s death and resurrection for your justification you are saved. This is the great gift of righteousness by faith that was given to your father in the faith, Abraham, in My covenant with him as the Blessing of Abraham. The Holy Spirit convicts you concerning righteousness because Jesus came to Me and you see Him no longer. What does that mean? Jesus was delivered over because of your transgressions and was raised because of your justification (making you righteous before Me when He returned to Me having finished the work I gave Him to do). I explain that to you through My servant Paul by the revelation of My Spirit:

Therefore it was also credited to Abraham as righteousness. Now not for his sake only was it written that it was credited to him, but for our sake also, to whom it will be credited, as those who believe in Him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead, He who was delivered over because of our transgressions, and was raised because of our justification. Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand; and we exult in hope of the glory of God. Romans 4:22-5:2.

And the Holy Spirit convicts the world concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged. I have judged Satan and sentenced him to hell. He is not able to prevail against you. He is still in the world because Adam gave his leasehold term to Satan but that will soon end and his days of roaming the earth will be over. You should have no fear of Satan for he has already been judged but you must not let him in to your life by disobedience to My Word. That is what loosed him originally. Do not let him take you captive to do his will. If you do, you are not on the winning side and he will cause you to lose your destiny

When you were dead in your transgressions and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made you alive together with Him, having forgiven us all our transgressions, having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. When He had disarmed the rulers and authorities, He made a public display of them, having triumphed over them through Him. Colossians 2:13-15.

And it was at this point in that Last Supper Passover meal that Jesus gave you the revelation of the teaching ministry of the Holy Spirit in you. And it is in this wonderful counselor you will find the answers that will explain everything to you about life.

Jesus wanted to share so much more about what He was about to do and what it all meant to them and the world, but they were not ready. They needed My Spirit in them to understand and live the revelation from the inside out.

So then, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure. Philippians 2:12-13.

It would have been like trying to teach chemistry and physics to a toddler who could not even read yet.

“I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of Mine and will disclose it to you. All things that the Father has are Mine; therefore I said that He takes of Mine and will disclose it to you. John 16:12-15.

Jesus reveals to you many characteristics of the Holy Spirit, your Melchizedek. The Holy Spirit shares My thoughts and ways with you and shows you the things to come, including the things I have freely given to and prepared for those who love Me and obey Me.

“Things which eye has not seen and ear has not heard, and which have not entered the heart of man, all that God has prepared for those who love Him.” For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God. For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so the thoughts of God no one knows except the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God, which things we also speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words. 1 Corinthians 2:9-13.

He teaches My Word to you. He guides you into all truth, the truth to bring you out of darkness into My marvelous light and out of bondage to freedom. For if you continue (abide, remain) in My Word, you are truly My disciples and then you will know the truth and the truth will set you free. Where My Spirit is there is freedom because He is the Spirit of truth.

And for this Life Lesson, we will stop here and continue on in our next Life Lesson.

I love you. I have given you everything you need for life and godliness in Jesus and in My Spirit. And now let Me tell you why you are created and what the reason for your existence is: to enjoy the wondrous gift of life, breath, and being with which I have honored you as a unique and glorious person of your own free will and right. And I did not leave you alone as orphans to enjoy it. I made you to be My family that I care for, honor, love, respect, and enjoy life with. I delight in being with you and doing good to you. If you could but see the goodness I have in store for you who love Me, you would so appreciate the gift of life I have given you. You are alive because of Me. You exist because of Me. You have talents, gifts, skills, and great intelligence because of Me. You are fearfully and wonderfully made by Me and sustained by Me. Your life is from My life, and I have promised you eternal life. Everything I made, I made with you in mind and for you to enjoy. I did not make Heaven or earth for any other reason than you. All is for you and all is yours. It has pleased Me to give you My Kingdom so you can reign with Me forever. Your life, all life, is a gift from Me to you to enjoy. And I will provide for all your needs according to My riches in Christ Jesus in glory. Never forget the honor and the privilege of life and the opportunity to know love, for I am love. There are no limits to the amazing life, eternal life, that is in you.
