And He was saying to them, “You are from below, I am from above; you are of this world, I am not of this world. Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I AM, you will die in your sins.” John 8:23-24.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
My Son, according to the flesh, was born from above. The seed of the earthly body for My Son was formed by My Word like Adam was with no earthly father, so My Son, when He took flesh, was formed from Heaven just as was the first man, Adam. He came down from Heaven to give life to the world.
“For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return there without watering the earth and making it bear and sprout, and furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater; so will My Word be which goes forth from My mouth. Isaiah 55:10-11.
My Word is established forever in Heaven as is My Name. My Name and My Word are One for I AM My Word and I AM My Name, all My Name, which includes the LORD your provider, the LORD your Healer, the LORD your Shepherd, the LORD your righteousness, and many other magnificent Covenant Names of promise. And I AM love and I AM light.
I will bow down toward Your holy temple and give thanks to Your Name for Your lovingkindness and Your truth; for You have magnified Your word according to all Your Name. Psalm 138:2.
At the time of His birth, Jesus was the only man besides Adam that I formed directly by My Word from Heaven, from above, for every good thing given and every perfect gift comes down from Me, your Father of lights. BUT, consider this and you will begin to see light in My Light, He is the firstborn of MANY brethren.
For with You is the fountain of life; in Your light we see light. Psalm 36:9.
The fountain of life. Jesus told a thirsty Samaritan woman at a well about that. If you ask Him for a drink, He will pour into you living water that will become a well spring in your spirit, a fountain of life, leaping up to eternal life. You must be born from above by water and the Spirit to enter, and even see, My Kingdom!
How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! And the children of men take refuge in the shadow of Your wings. They drink their fill of the abundance of Your house; and You give them to drink of the river of Your delights. Psalm 36:7-8.
Jesus explained this to the Pharisee named Nicodemus who became a believer in My Son, but it was hard for him to grasp. You need the help of My Holy Spirit to understand this. Remember Jesus told His disciples He had so much to share with them but they could not receive it all at that time, it was too much for human reasoning, Jesus would send the Holy Spirit to teach them and reveal it to them as they enlarged their capacity to understand spiritual matters.
Jesus answered and said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born from above he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? He cannot enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born, can he?” Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. John 3:3-6.
Jesus is the true Light that came into the world who enlightens every man. He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, but the world did not know Him. John 1:9-10. The goings forth of My Son are from eternity. Micah 5:1-2. Like Me. We are One. Three persons in One Almighty God.
He came to His own, and those who were His own did not receive Him. BUT as many as received Him, to them He gave the right (authority, delegated power) to become My children, as Adam was in the beginning when I formed him from above, from Heaven, to those who believe in His name, who were born, not of bloods nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of Me. John 1:11-13. Not of the perishable impure blood in the seed of Adam but again by the imperishable seed of My Word.
For you have been born again not of seed which is perishable but imperishable, that is, through the living and enduring Word of God. 1 Peter 1:23.
My grace is now what empowers you and feeds your spirit. My Spirit in you gives life to your mortal body. I will raise you up on the Last Day to full redemption by clothing your spirit and soul in an immortal glorified body from Heaven to match your spirit and soul, but even now you are imperishable with respect to your spirit and soul. Your body will follow by the Spirit in you by which I raised Jesus. This is resurrection power, which is now in you who have been born again from above by receiving My Word in the person of Jesus.
Please understand what I am saying. Many say they are a new creation in Christ, but they do not understand the full import of this. In Jesus you are born again from above and your citizenship is in Heaven. The first Adam was born from above but by the calculated treachery of his sin he was born from below, from the seed of lies, which is perishable and became earthly not heavenly, like his master the devil crawling in the dust and eating it. Man became limited to acting only in the flesh and all born of Adam’s corrupted seed were destined to perish, for sinful flesh cannot enter or even see My Kingdom. It takes a spirit alive to Me and dead to sin, one who has been made righteous.
Biologically you are born from below, Adam put you there by sin, making you in the image of the earthly man and not the heavenly man.
This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day when God created man, He made him in the likeness of God. He created them male and female, and He blessed them and named them Man in the day when they were created. When Adam had lived one hundred and thirty years, he became the father of a son in his own likeness, according to his image, and named him Seth. Genesis 5:1-3.
Adam was made in My image and according to My likeness with eternal life in him. But you see that after he rejected My Word for the lies of a creature his son was in his likeness and image, the earthly man who perishes. And all his children after him, born from his seed, died. As even unto this day. The wages of sin is death. For there was a death sentence upon you that dust you are and to dust you shall return. The clay that rebels against the potter is thrown off the wheel, it is no longer a vessel of honor, fruitful and useful to mankind, it is destined for the rubbish heap.
“He raises the poor from the dust, He lifts the needy from the ash heap, to make them sit with nobles, and inherit a seat of honor.” 1 Samuel 2:8.
Now in a large house there are not only gold and silver vessels, but also vessels of wood and of earthenware, and some to honor and some to dishonor. Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from these things, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified, useful to the Master, prepared for every good work. 2 Timothy 2:20-21.
The blood of Jesus releases you from your sins by satisfying your debt to divine justice but you are born again by My Word. It is the birth canal of My Word from above that causes you to be born from above. The blood, the water, and the Spirit.
And My Word also cleanses you continually as you walk in the light. And you can join in the cleansing process. How? The same way Jesus cleanses you as members of His body, the church: by the washing of water with the Word. Ephesians 5:26; John 15:3. The more Word you take in by faith, the cleaner your spirit, soul, and body become.
See how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we would be called children of God; and such we are. For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is. And everyone who has this hope fixed on Him purifies himself, just as He is pure. 1 John 3:1-3.
And the more Word you get in you, the more My Spirit can work in you to produce fruit with your spirit. Do you know what that fruit is? Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Galatians 3:22-23. This is what you and all the members of the body of Christ should be producing to the edification of all. I have blessed you to be fruitful.
Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass. 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24.
To understand spiritual things and to enter My eternal Kingdom of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit, you had to be born from above by My Word, not the devil’s word. Jesus takes you back past Adam’s sin to the Garden of Eden. He came to undo the works of the devil. 1 John 3:8. He opens that ancient gate that closed on sinful man who no longer walked in the light of My love but in the darkness of sin. Let the King of Glory in to shine in your heart. Darkness cannot dwell with light.
Lift up your heads, O gates, and be lifted up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come LORD mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O gates, and lift them up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in! Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, He is the King of glory. Psalm 24:7-10.
Now I am going to share with you a Word I gave to My beloved John. He understood this and it gave him such confidence that nothing could take him down. Read it and then I will discuss it with you:
By this the love of God was manifested in us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world so that we might live through Him. 1 John 4:9.
Jesus told the religious leaders of His day that they would die in their sins unless they believed in Him. But He told them exactly why, and it is the same as He told Nicodemus.
And He was saying to them, “You are from below, I am from above; you are of this world, I am not of this world. Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I AM, you will die in your sins.” John 8:23-24.
When you put your faith in Him, and He is My Word, you are born again from above a new creation in Christ. In, with, and through Him you are no longer from below, you are from above.
Therefore from now on we recognize no one according to the flesh; even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him in this way no longer. Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:16-18.
You are no longer in Adam’s fallen image and likeness, you are no longer of the nature of the “god” of this world. You are born from above. You are partakers of My divine nature in Christ.
Because He lives you live. All men and women born of Adam’s line, and biologically you all are, had a death sentence on them through the sin of Adam. Through him death descended on all mankind. You were all children of wrath, but Jesus turned you into children of favor seated at My right hand with Him.
You are hidden now in Christ with Me.
For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory. Colossians 3:3-4.
All sin was taken away in Him, He is the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world, all sin was laid upon Him and the justice of divine wrath fell on Him and crushed Him. Like the bronze serpent raised upon the pole that I gave to Moses as a solution to the dying Israelites who through their bitter complaining against the Manna had let the serpents into the camp. When they gazed upon the bronze serpent on the pole it pulled all the deadly venom out of them so they lived. Jesus did that for you. He took the sting of death and pulled it away from you. I put all your sins on Him and credited His righteousness to you. And even though He became sin on your behalf, He never sinned.
And We did it for you for only one reason: Love. Our love for you.
Sin divided us but love incarnate united us. He took your sins and sentence so that you are walking in newness of life—born from above and no longer from below. You are no longer down where the devil crawls. So then put your mind above where Jesus sits at My right hand to match your born-again nature.
Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. Colossians 3:1-2.
The mind set on the flesh is death but the mind set on the spirit is life and peace. You are in the world but you are no longer born of the world.
My great love with which I love you manifested in Jesus, Romans 8:37-39, but living through Him that love manifests in you. 1 John 4:9. And how does it manifest in you? Because I so loved the world that I sent My Son into the world so that all who believe in Him shall not perish but have eternal life—that you might live through Him.
“Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My Word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.” John 5:24.
Do you see? Hearing the Word, believing in the Word, receiving the Word, you are born from above by the Word, you have passed out of death to life. To enter the Kingdom you have to be born again from above.
In reference to your former manner of life, you lay aside the old man, which is being corrupted in accordance with the lusts of deceit, and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new man, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth. Ephesians 4:22-24,
You must change jurisdictions. And once you are living your life in Him, for He is the firstborn of many brethren, I raise you all up in Him to His level as joint heirs, seated with and in Him! And that is Covenant.
I love you. All He did became yours by substation and identification. Welcome to the body of Christ! The body of those born from above—a new creation. And that is what Christmas is all about for
Because of the tender mercy of our God, with which the Sunrise from on high will visit us, to shine upon those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace. Luke 1:78-79.
