I have come as Light into the world, so that everyone who believes in Me will not remain in darkness. John 12:46.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
The sanctified life is one filled with light. There is no darkness in the sanctified life because the sanctified life is life lived in Me, with Me, and through Me, and I am light. You are encompassed by light. Remember? I call it My armor of light.
Knowing the time, that it is already the hour for you to awaken from sleep; for now salvation is nearer to us than when we believed. The night is almost gone, and the day is near. Therefore let us lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. Romans 13:11-12.
And I tell you to put on My FULL armor. Ephesians 6:11. And when you read about My armor, every piece of it is made up of the Word—the girdle of truth (My Word is truth), the breastplate of righteousness (Born again of My Word you are established in righteousness, My own righteousness), the footgear of the Gospel of peace (how beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news of salvation, the Gospel), the shield of faith (faith comes by hearing and hearing My Word), the helmet of Salvation (let My Word guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus), and the Sword of the Spirit (which I define as My Word, which is sharper than any two-edged sword). Ephesians 6:13-17.
My Word is s light to your path and a lamp to your feet. When you are filled with My Word you are filled with light. Why? I am My Word and I am light. If you follow My Word you will never walk in darkness for you will have the Light of life. You will find if you fill your heart with My Word your life will be full of sweetness and light.
Let My light shine into your life and remove your darkness and sin. Let My light come in and drive out your pain, division, fear, and hate. These things grow in the dark but they cannot exist in the light.
When I looked into darkness and chaos I spoke “Light be!” And there was light. Life for the light of men. And the darkness had to go. It cannot overcome light.
Let the Light of the world shine into your darkness. The darkness in your past, the darkness in your family, the darkness in your work place and school, and the darkness you are facing in yourself now. You may feel you are trapped in darkness, but you are not. If you have taken My Son as Lord you are in the light. He is the light of the world and no follower of His will ever walk in darkness but will have the light of life.
And My answer to you in Christ is “yes!” He is the place of answered prayer. He is at My right hand as your High Priest bringing you right into My throne room to receive the answers to your prayers.
My answer to all that darkness in your life that is causing you to cry each morning and find no joy in your life or family is to let the Light shine in. Open yourself to My light. Let My light shine into your darkness. Darkness cannot stay in the presence of light. Do not fight with the darkness in the dark—hating yourself and living in fear, bitterness, and depression. No, conquer darkness by opening to the Light.
Where there is light there is every kind of goodness. Every good gift and perfect thing come down from Me, the Father of Lights. I am Light. I am Love. They go together.
In darkness there is hate and pain and evil work. Let Me shine into your life and remove those things by My light.
And how do you let My light shine in to change your division and hate to unity and love? Keep your mind above where Christ is seated at My right hand in the realm of light. Hatred has no place there and if you keep your mind there in the light, it will not have any place to lodge in you either.
One of the most beautiful lives you will read about is the life of Joseph, the son of Jacob. His life turned out filled with blessing and his family was close to him and happy. Yes, things turned out very well for Joseph and all was good and unified in his life. Why? He refused darkness and walked in My light. He let My light into his life. He had no bitterness in his heart to his brothers for their evil conduct in his life nor for Potiphar’s wife who got him put in prison. He kept his mind on Me seated above and walked in the light. And it brought him victory, prosperity, blessing and wholeness in every area of his life and the life of his family.
Do you know the blessing I taught Moses to teach Aaron as the way to bless My people Israel so that My Name would be upon them? It begins: “O LORD let your face shine upon us.” And the Light of My glory shines on you in the Face of Christ. Jesus is your blessing and your answer to all the problems in your life or in the world. And He is the Light of the world. I have given you light. Receive Him. He makes all the difference, He is My “yes” to you.
Peace I give to you. My peace I leave you. Do not let your heart be troubled or afraid.
I tell you how to live in the light in the book of Ephesians. If you want to have a family that prospers and is united you will find your answers there. I discuss husbands and wives, children and parents, and employers and employees. And in each area you can find blessing if you apply My teaching and do not turn away from it to the right or the left.
Let My Word light your path.
And here is what I tell you: “For you were once darkness but now you are light in the Lord (in My Son you are translated out of the realm of darkness into the Kingdom of Light). As children of light walk. For the fruit of the light in all goodness and righteousness and truth proving what is pleasing to the Lord. And do not participate in the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them for the things being done by them in secret are shameful even to speak bout. But EVERYTHING BEING EXPOSED BY THE LIGHT BECOMES VISIBLE, FOR EVERYTHING BECOMING VISIBLE IS LIGHT. Therefore Arise! The one sleeping and rise up from the dead and Christ will shine on you.”
Let My light shine into every area of your life. Open all to Me and I will change all your darkness and regrets to light in Me. Walk wisely, redeeming the time because the days are evil. You need to redeem the time from darkness to light. And you do this by being filled with My Spirit. And the way you get filled is simple: speak to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, sing and make melody with your heart to Me, always giving thanks for all things in the name of your Lord Jesus Christ unto Me. To open to the light by singing joyful songs of worship and praise continually in your heart unto Me throughout your day and night. It is a state of joy that nothing and no one can take from you. It is joy in knowing answered prayer. It is the joy of intimate union with the One who is joy unspeakable filled with glory for Whom nothing is too difficult and nothing is impossible.
The formula for filling your life, your family, your home, your workplace, your city, your nation, and the world is just this: rejoice in Me always, pray without ceasing and give constant thanks. This is My Will for you in Christ Jesus. This will bring you a beautiful life.
And then let My light into your marriage by wives being submitted to their husbands in honor and gratitude. In husbands loving their wives as Christ loves the Church and gave His life for her. In children obeying their parents and respecting them and treating them with honor. And for parents not to nag their children but to love and nourish their children and raise them to know My Word. In employees doing their work unto Me to glorify My Son at all times and not just when the boss is watching. In employers being good to their employees and respecting them and not threatening them.
And again as we discussed earlier, in chapter 6 of Ephesians I tell you how to keep the light in your life strong. I equip you with My armor, which I call My armor of light. The night is almost gone, and the day is near.
“Therefore lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm. Stand firm therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.”
And there we are again. It all comes back to My Word. And that is how to makes sure you stay always in the light.
I love you. And that is why My light shines on you. Open your heart wide so I can shine My light into you and translate you from the realm of darkness to the Kingdom of Light.
