For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with gratitude; for it is sanctified by means of the Word of God and prayer. 1 Timothy 4:4-5.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

Sanctify your day, your life, your home, your workplace, wherever you are by means of My Word and prayer. Pray and sing My Word and you will be setting your life apart as sanctified and putting yourself on holy ground. And the devil cannot find a place to land on holy ground. He has no place there. There is no evil presence that can stay on the Highway of Holiness. And that is the holy way of unceasing prayer.

Praying united with Me in the prayer of agreement is powerful. When you sanctify a place in prayer, miracles come forth from the gathering of the royal priesthood around your great High Priest Jesus.

“Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven, for where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst.” Matthew 18:19-20.

When Herod put Peter in maximum security prison with four squads of soldiers around him and chained him to the floor, the community of believers did not have to get weapons and go to attack the prison. Oh no, not at all. They had better resources. They gathered together in agreement in My Name and prayed for his release. They needed his leadership. And the answer was simple. Same as I once did for Hezekiah at his prayer of faith. I sent one of My angels, I am the LORD of hosts, and the angel did his assignment. He just walked in without anyone seeing him, for you cannot see the angels unless I lift the veil and open the eyes of your heart into the spirit realm, and the angel very calmly woke Peter up and led Peter out to freedom. And My angel did it without keys, weapons, chain cutters, or any other equipment. And none of the guards in the four squads of soldiers even saw Peter leave. And that was from the united prayer of the body of Christ, the Church upon earth. And that is what you are a member of today. And each one of you can pray the prayer of agreement with My Son and the Holy Spirit in you and on you whether alone or gathered with other believers.

And coming to Him as to a living stone which has been rejected by men, but is choice and precious in the sight of God, you also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 2:4-5.

What can you offer Me as a spiritual sacrifice that is acceptable to Me? I have answered that from the Old to the New Covenants. Abraham, your father in the faith, when he tried to offer Isaac as the acceptable one found out there was only one that would do. My Son, the sinless, unblemished Lamb.

Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering and laid it on Isaac his son, and he took in his hand the fire and the knife. So the two of them walked on together. Isaac spoke to Abraham his father and said, “My father!” And he said, “Here I am, my son.” And he said, “Behold, the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for the burnt offering?” Abraham said, “God will provide for Himself the lamb for the burnt offering, my son.” So the two of them walked on together. Genesis 22:6-8.

People in general have a sense of guilt and sin. When they do not know Me they would invent gods and try to offer their children, their bodies, penitential acts to somehow get rid of that feeling of guilt and filth in their heart. Even those who have taken Me as the one true God do not understand what I have done in My Son though they give it lip service. They still are conscious of their sins but these are gone in Jesus.

People long to offer Me a sinless life, a perfect life, but since Adam this has not been the case. It is impossible to man in his fallen state to be blameless. When the disciples asked Jesus, “then who can be saved?” His answer was that with man on his own it is impossible but with Me nothing is impossible. In Jesus I did the impossible. I so loved the world, I gave you Jesus that you might live through Him and come with confidence before Me, holy, blameless and without reproach. He took your sins and became sin for you and gave you His righteousness and you became righteous with My own righteousness.

He is your perfect sacrifice that you offer to Me to be saved and released of all your sins. Your sins are not just covered, they are gone.

Please understand that I understand the sin problem you are in and so I gave you Jesus as your scapegoat to take all your sins, shame and blame. Know this: all your dreams of a perfect life, sinless before Me, have come true in Jesus whom I made wisdom for you, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption. He makes it as if you had never sinned. He makes it as if sin had never been it is no longer your fault. He took your faults and I took care of them with Him. You are free of sin and it effects.

We have a relationship. A wonderful one. We have covenant through and in Him.

I Myself provided the Lamb. Not you. I gave you your sin offering, a perfect one. You could never have paid enough for such a treasure. But I have given Him to you freely. Rejoice.

And when you come to Me you have a spiritual sacrifice to offer that moves Heaven and earth. The Lamb who is in the center of the Throne. And He is your shepherd, leading you to springs of living water where I wipe every tear from your eyes. And that is what prayer is all about. A place of rejuvenation and emancipation.

The night of the Last Supper, Jesus let you hear His prayer to Me for you. And He still is making intercession for you before Me even now. Look at His prayer and see what He asked for you: He asked Me to keep you in My Name that you would be one with Me and one another as He and I are One. That you would have joy, His joy, made full in yourself. That I would keep you safe from the evil one by sanctifying you in truth. My Word is truth. That as I sent Him into the world to seek out and save the lost, so He would send you out, and that all who would believe in Him by your words would become one in Me with each other and with Me and My Son. He prayed for unity among believers and unity with Me. And He prayed that you would all experience My glory in Him, in you, and know My love.

The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me. Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world “O righteous Father, although the world has not known You, yet I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me; and I have made Your name known to them, and will make it known, so that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.”

He prayed for protection from evil by sanctification and consecration in the truth by My Word, for what brought about the sin and the fall was a rejection of the truth of My Word for the corruption of a lie of the devil. The creator was rejected for a creature, which is still going on today.

Jesus then prayed for unity with one another and Me among believers in My Word, for it was by dividing himself from Me and then entering into strife with his fellow believer in the Garden that Adam cut himself and his descendants off from the Kingdom. He limited himself to this life and was no longer able to see into the spirit realm. His spirit was in strife with Mine. In fact, his spirit became dead to Me and alive to sin. Which is why you must be born again from above by My imperishable Word to have eternal life.

And Jesus gave you glory, the glory I had given Him, and prayed that you would be seated with Him where He is and all experience and see His glory. Which I granted, for when He died to sin once for all so did you in Him, and when I raised Him free of sin, so I raised you in Him, and seated where He is now, I have seated you with Him and in Him.

And He ended with love. My love in you. And I have poured My love into your hearts through My gift of the Holy Spirit. You can be just like Me in purpose, plan and power but above all, in love, pure simple beautiful truthful love.

And it is that love with which He prayed and interceded for sinners even as they condemned Him and crucified Him. It was the joy that was in all His prayers, your salvation.

You have Him to offer to Me, His blood, His life, His death, His resurrection as you intercede for people, nations, and those in positions of leadership and authority. Remember the early Christians and how their prayers opened prison gates and you can do the same. Have you ever prayed to Me to set the captives free? If you look back in the Bible, you will find it is one of my specialties.

“The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, because He anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim release to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to set free those who are oppressed, to proclaim the favorable year of the LORD.” Luke 4:18-19.

Prayer changes things when it is the prayer of faith. Double minded prayers go nowhere. My Word runs swiftly and hits the mark every time. My Word is sharper than a two-edged (two mouthed) sword. Every fact is established by two or three witnesses. Find the witness you seek in My Word and speak it to establish the fact. It will not return to Me void, without achieving the purpose for which I sent it.

You are a royal priesthood, a kingdom, priests unto Me. Kings decree things and once a king decrees a law and seals it, then it cannot be changed but has to be performed. You see this in the book of Daniel when the king made the decree that caused Daniel to get thrown into a lions’ den. The king did not want to enforce it against Daniel but there was no turning back once he sealed it in his name.

So if an unjust king was held to his decree, all the more reason you have for knowing I will perform My Covenant promises for those in Covenant with Me for they are sealed in and guaranteed by My Name. I AM the LORD (Yahavah) your healer. That is a sealed and guaranteed promise that you can enforce in prayer and call upon with confidence. My decree is higher than any earthly diagnosis or decree.

I would like to share another aspect of prayer with you before we conclude today’s Life Lesson and that is the FCR response, which stands for “faith, cry, and rely.”

If you recall when I came down to save My people from slavery, I told Moses I had come down to do so because I had heard their cries to Me. When you cry, I respond. At the Red Sea, they cried out to Me and I responded by telling Moses to raise his staff and part the sea.

They were helped against them, and the Hagrites and all who were with them were given into their hand; for they cried out to God in the battle, and He answered their prayers because they trusted in Him. 1 Chronicles 5:20.

It is not a frantic cry. It is a joyful ringing shout to bring Me down to help you and fight for you and with you, your beloved who has guaranteed in His Covenant Names, that make you partakers of the divine nature.

The Lord spoke further to Moses, saying, “Make yourself two trumpets of silver, of hammered work you shall make them; and you shall use them for summoning the congregation and for having the camps set out. . . The priestly sons of Aaron, moreover, shall blow the trumpets; and this shall be for you a perpetual statute throughout your generations. 9 When you go to war in your land against the adversary who attacks you, then you shall sound an alarm with the trumpets, that you may be remembered before the Lord your God, and be saved from your enemies. 10 Also in the day of your gladness and in your appointed [c]feasts, and on the first days of your months, you shall blow the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; and they shall be as a reminder of you before your God. I am the Lord your God.” Numbers 10:1-2; 8-10.

A Covenant call for My Covenant people. A special line in. And so it is today. Keep alert and stay alert in prayer with thanksgiving.

I love you and that is what prayer is all about. Fellowship in love. In the next Life Lesson let us look at more about the protocol of prayer.
