Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
You may not realize it and thus not give it any importance, but the most valuable treasure you have is My Word. If you find My Word you find life, deliverance from destruction, and healing for all your flesh. My Word works in you and in the world, it is living and active. My Word is Spirit and life, My Word is forever, My Word is truth, My Word is eternal life, and My Word is wisdom. My Word is the imperishable seed the births you again from above. My Word is the imperishable seed of everything you need and more. I AM My Word and in giving you My Word I give you Myself. I give you eternal life. I send My Word you in My Son and by My Spirit.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. John 1:1-4.
My Word planted in your heart has the power to save you. Throughout the Bible I liken My Word to seed and I continually tell you how to get the maximum growth and harvest from that seed.
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,” declares the LORD, “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return there without watering the earth and making it bear and sprout, and furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater; so will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; it will not return to Me void, without accomplishing what I desire, and without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it. For you will go out with joy and be led forth with peace.” Isaiah 55:8-12.
The first parable My Son told was about the sower sowing seed on different types of soil and He told His disciples if they did not understand that parable, they would not understand any of His parables. And He clearly tells you that the seed the sower is sowing is My Word and that the soil is your heart. And of the four types of hearts He refers to, only one allowed the seed to grow to harvest, and even in that heart the diligence in which it was cultivated and guarded produced different levels of fruitfulness—thirty, sixty, and a hundredfold.
This parable shows you many things about My Word and your part in having My promises and all good things and perfect gifts manifesting in your life in the world. You see clearly that even though I have freely given you all things in Christ and all My promises are “YES” to you in Him, you must cultivate and guard the seed of My Word unto harvest. It shows you how to be fruitful and how to complete your assignment. And it shows you that the devil is after one thing in your life—to take My Word out of your heart so that it does not produce, and if he gets that he can keep you from a fruitful life and completely abort your destiny, which is contained in the authority, the fruit, and the eternal life that is in the seed of My Word planted and grown in your heart.
Since the first man and woman the devil is after the seed of My Word, and he still is after it, so that he can steal, kill, and destroy My people through lack of knowledge, lack of vision, and lack of knowing their absolute authority over him by the twisting and perverting of My Word. He takes you from faith to fear, from trust to doubt, from true glory to vainglory, from life to lust, from freedom to addiction, from peace to torment, from authority to subjection by misrepresentation and lies targeted at your flesh. For the truth will set you free and crush his lying authority, just as the imperishable seed of My Word, birthed again from above when planted in the virgin’s womb free of Adam’s perishable seed, has paid your debt to Me for the eternal life you murdered by sin and crushed his head (his power) for those who are in Christ, as I foretold in the Garden when Adam first fell from above to below by rejecting the truth of My Word for a lie. Do not do the same and lose your eternal life to a perishable lie. In Christ I have seated your resurrected spirit above with the devil under your feet. Keep him there by answering his lies with the truth of My Word. Nothing pleases Me more than hearing that My children are walking in the truth, which is My Word. For then you are more than a conqueror and are living the eternal in the temporal.
All life produces and reproduces by seed. When I gave the first man and woman dominion over the earth, I gave them the seed and I placed them in a garden and told them to cultivate and guard it. And the Word there translated as “cultivate” in the original Hebrew is the word “abad (עָבַד)” which is also translated as “worship,” Exodus 3:12, Psalm 2:11; and “to serve.” Psalm 72:11. My Word is produces and grows in an atmosphere of worship, service and cultivation. Work out your salvation with awed reverence to have a beautiful inheritance that is worth guarding, Philippians 2:12-13, do not be like Esau who sold his birthright for a bowl of beans to feed his belly.
I sent My Word to heal you and deliver you from all destruction. Psalm 107:20. The more you grow it in your heart, the richer your life will be in every aspect. Philippians 3:16. My Word will give you the SHALOM that I have planned and purposed for your life. Jeremiah 29:11. It will make you whole and complete in Christ.
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body; and be thankful. Let the Word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God. Colossians 3:15-16. And in that Scripture from Paul’s letter to the believers in Colossae, you see how to plant and how to cultivate and guard the inner garden of your heart to grow the seed of My Word to full harvest of the promise contained within it.
Plant My Word abundantly (richly) in your heart, Psalm 119:11, and then bring it to fruition by speaking it, teaching it, exhorting and edifying yourself and others with it, with psalms, hymns, and spirit songs, making songs of thanksgiving in your heart unto Me.
The voice of thanksgiving works wonders, it is the catalyst, the miracle grow, that brings a swift harvest. It is when the reaper overtakes the sower—the seed produces so quickly what it contains. Amos 9:13 (you will note this comes after I have raised up the fallen tabernacle of praise of David in Amos 9:11). It bursts forth in miraculous growth.
Indeed, the LORD will comfort Zion; He will comfort all her waste places. And her wilderness He will make like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the LORD. Joy and gladness will be found in her, thanksgiving and sound of a melody. Isaiah 51:3.
Seed once planted in the proper medium will grow and produce what is in that seed. You could phrase that another way, saying, a seed gives birth to what is in that seed when properly planted and cultivated. And My Words are words of eternal life and that is what they birth, produce and reproduce in you when planted and grown.
For you have been born again not of seed which is perishable but imperishable, that is, through the living and enduring word of God. For, “All flesh is like grass, and all its glory like the flower of grass. The grass withers, and the flower falls off, but the word of the LORD endures forever.” And this is the word which was preached to you. 1 Peter 1:23-25.
What makes My Words imperishable and incorruptible? My Word is truth and truth is incorruptible and imperishable. A Word of truth can take down decades of lies in one fell swoop. In other words, My Word works efficiently, speedily, and completely.
He sends forth His command to the earth; His word runs very swiftly. Psalm 147:15.
If you will receive My Word into your heart, My Word in you will do its work.
For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Hebrews 4:12.
By rejecting My Words and putting himself under another master, shepherd, and pastor through the perishable seed of a lie, Adam became perishable. The answer to be redeemed from what Adam did then is receive My Words and put yourself under another master, shepherd and pastor. The devil shepherds his “flock” to hell.
This is the way of those who are foolish (the fool says in his heart there is no God), and of those after them who approve their words. Selah. As sheep they are appointed for hell; death shall be their shepherd; and the upright shall rule over them in the morning, and their form shall be for hell to consume so that they have no habitation. But God will redeem my soul from the power of hell, for He will receive me. Selah. Psalm 49:13-15.
The good Shepherd, Jesus, shepherds His flock to eternal life. It has pleased Me to give My Son’s flock the Kingdom of Heaven even now.
Do not be afraid, little flock, for it has pleased your Father to give you the Kingdom. Luke 12:32.
My Word will change you from perishable to imperishable, but it will also change how you think, speak, and behave almost effortlessly if you let it remain in you and your remain in it.
And He was saying, “The kingdom of God is like a man who casts seed upon the soil; and he goes to bed at night and gets up by day, and the seed sprouts and grows—how, he himself does not know. The soil produces crops by itself; first the blade, then the head, then the mature grain in the head. But when the crop permits, he immediately puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come.” Mark 4:26-29.
If you cultivate My Word in reverence and honor by giving it your attention, by reading it, hearing it, speaking it, meditating on it, and doing it, I guarantee you it will produce thirty, sixty, or a hundredfold depending on the diligence with which you apply it in your life.
And He was saying to them, “Take care what you listen to. By your standard of measure it will be measured to you; and more will be given you besides. For whoever has, to him more shall be given; and whoever does not have, even what he has shall be taken away from him.” Mark 4:24-25.
But let us again consider the parable of the sower My Son told. In that parable, there were four types of hearts he mentioned in likening them to different kinds of soil in which My Word found a place to grow to fruition or not. There was stony ground, shallow ground, thorny and weed filed ground, and good ground. But I want you to note that the seed was always the same, it was well able to produce a harvest but the harvest was not dependent on the seed but on the ground, and the amount of the harvest, even on good soil, was dependent on two things, the amount of seed sown and the cultivation of the seed once it was planted in good soil.
People are blaming Me if My promise has not manifested in their lives, but they need to check their heart. The seed is perfect and will produce.
Let us look at it in more depth. Because many of you have received My Word and you have not rejected it, but you have allowed thorns and weeds to grow unchecked in your heart and stifled your harvest or you have just let it lay idle and have not cultivated the seed. The only way you actually receive and grow the implanted Word is by actively guarding it in your heart, pulling out the weeds and thorns (the bitter roots that will poison the harvest), taking every bird of the air captive (take captive every disobedient thought to a thought of Christ), and being a doer of the Word (doing what is the direction with the promise to make it come to fruition).
First, understand that I do not promise you any result in My Word without telling you how to obtain that promise and giving you the grace to be able to do what you must do to obtain it. I am in you to will and to do and then you work it out to the physical manifestation by filling your heart with it, getting the correct picture in your head and heart of who you are and where you are headed, and then refusing to speak anything but the result you are aiming at. Do not speak stout against My Word and expect it will come to pass in your life. Do not question My Word, examine yourself to see if you are doing what I tell you to do to have that Word come to pass in your life. My Word is truth and it will come to pass but the timing in your life is up to you.
This is the way the parable was told by My Son: “Listen to this!” Mark 4:3. Shema in Hebrew. It means hear attentively and do what you hear. In the Old Testament, which was written in Hebrew, you will see this word translated as both “hear” and “obey.”
Then He spoke on, “Behold, the sower went out to sow.” Later My Son will explain that the sower is the Son of Man and the seed He is sowing is My Word. Luke 8:11.
“As he was sowing, some seed fell beside the road, and the birds came and ate it up. Other seed fell on the rocky ground where it did not have much soil; and immediately it sprang up because it had no depth of soil. And after the sun had risen, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away. Other seed fell among the thorns, and the thorns came up and choked it, and it yielded no crop. Other seeds fell into the good soil, and as they grew up and increased, they yielded a crop and produced thirty, sixty, and a hundredfold.” And He was saying, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear.” Mark 4:4-9. In the Gospel of Luke, he expounds further that the good soil is a good, honest, and generous heart. Luke 8:15.
The disciples asked the meaning of the parable. Remember they did not have the same knowledge of Jesus at that time that you do now from their later teachings. And what was the response of Jesus? He said to them, “Do you not understand this parable? How will you understand all the parables?” Mark 4:13. You must understand the principles set out in this parable or you may be frustrated because you are not having the one hundred fold harvest.
And My Son then explained the parable in applicable terms. So listen and learn and apply, if you want an abundant life. “The sower sows the Word (Luke explains further, “the Word of God”). These are the ones who are beside the road where the word is sown; and when they hear, immediately Satan comes and takes away the word which has been sown in them. (Luke puts it this way, “Those beside the road are those who have heard; then the devil comes and takes away the word from their heart, so that they will not believe and be saved.” Luke 8:15). In a similar way these are the ones on whom seed was sown on the rocky places, who, when they hear the word, immediately receive it with joy; and they have no firm root in themselves, but are only temporary; then, when affliction or persecution arises because of the word, immediately they fall away. And others are the ones on whom seed was sown among the thorns; these are the ones who have heard the word, but the worries of the world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things enter in and choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful. (My servant Luke put it like this, “The seed which fell among the thorns, these are the ones who have heard, and as they go on their way they are choked with worries and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to maturity.” Luke 8:14.) And those are the ones on whom seed was sown on the good soil; and they hear the word and accept it and bear fruit, thirty, sixty, and a hundredfold.” Mark 4:13-20. (My servant Luke put it this way, “But the seed in the good soil, these are the ones who have heard the word in an honest and good heart, and hold it fast, and bear fruit with steadfast perseverance.” Luke 8:15).
Bear fruit. Be fruitful. Sound familiar? That was the first blessing I gave to mankind. I gave you the seed and I gave you the earth. And with the seed I gave you all you needed to produce abundance. Dominion is in the seed and the harvest.
And the true imperishable seed is My Word that made everything, sustains it and brings it to fruition. It contains POWER and it contains My faith and My life. My Word heals and delivers from destruction. My Word creates and remakes. Molecules and all the tiny particles they are made up of respond to My Light and My Word. And My Word gives light. My Word is living and working. PUT MY WORD TO WORK and change your world.
Now, are you doing My Word? First you must hear My Word and meditate it and speak it day and night as I told Joshua to make your way prosperous and successful. So if your way is not prosperous and successful, check your Word level and see what you are thinking and saying. So first hearing and hearing, meditating, reading and saying My Word in EVERY situation is primary to have faith that will connect you with My power to receive what I already have given you in Christ, which is every thing good and perfect to make you complete and give abundant life.
Next are you doing what I tell you to do to have the harvest you want? If you are letting worry and anxiety rule your thoughts and spoken words you are filling your heart with thorns that will choke off the seed of My Word and nothing will grow. If you are saying My Word does not work or just openly declaring that your sickness is incurable and will not change or that you cannot go in have what I promised you, as the Israelites did at the border of the Promised Land, you will have no harvest. You have pulled out the good seed and grown thorns, thistles and weeds. Unfruitful. If you just ignore My Word to say your own and be your own boss, then the devil has your life already for he has stolen My Word out of your heart. It cannot even take root. If you are a fence straddler that stands on My Word in some areas, say healing, but not in others, say finances, you will have a small harvest (like the thirty fold) only in the area you are established in and growing to fruition. But if you will go the whole way you can go for the hundred fold!
Jesus told you He is the vine and you are the branches, but you only bear much fruit if you continue to abide (remain) in the Vine. And Jesus told you that you abide by remaining in His Word and letting it remain in you. My Word becomes how you think, speak, see yourself, and guides your actions. Then you will bear much fruit and truly be His disciples. Free to be fruitful.
I tell you that is you want strong bones and your waste places to be a well watered garden that you must stop pointing the finger (blaming others for your disobedience as Adam did), stop speaking worry, fear, trouble, and gossip, and help the poor and afflicted, then you must do those things if you want that result. And they are very good for you in all areas of your life. These will free you up for joy unspeakable and full of glory.
I tell you not to join yourself with unbelievers—that is not love for what do light and darkness have in common? Share the Gospel with them, but if they refuse, shake the dust from your feet and move on with your high calling. But pray for them that they will be saved and come to know the truth, but do not condone their deeds. It will pull you down. I tell you not to associate closely or confide in and trust in believers who are living immorally, in drunkenness, anger, and idolatry and greed. (“But now I am writing you not to associate with anyone who claims to be a believer but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or a verbal abuser, a drunkard or a swindler. With such a person do not even eat.” 1 Corinthians 5:11). That is not love, that is enablement, you need to speak the truth to them in love but do not get your life joined with theirs. Walk away if need be until they come to their senses. Do not harbor them in your midst. Many people find this very hard to do with family members, but Jesus told you that you cannot love your family members more than Me in that you walk with them in agreement to what I abhor. Bring them light but don’t join in the darkness with them.
So what can you know after all this? If you are wondering and wandering in life, you need to fill your heart with My Word, and from the abundance of your heart, your mouth will speak, and from the words you speak your actions will follow, and your actions will become the deeds I reward before the Judgment seat of Christ that follow you into your forever in My Kingdom.
And I heard a voice from heaven, saying, “Write, ‘Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on!’” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “so that they may rest from their labors, for their deeds follow with them.” Revelation 14:13.
If you let My Word dwell in you consistently it will grow into a harvest of eternal life. Each promise in My Word is like a seed. What do you have to do with seeds for them to grow? Plant them and cultivate them. And one of the fastest ways to cultivate My Word and make you into a new person is worship. I inhabit the praises of My people. And that will be tomorrow’s life lesson.
I love you. Never, never let the devil get My Word away from you. It is not an idle word, it is your life. My Word is your eternal lifeline. Never let loose of it. My Word gives you eternal life now and FOREVER.
