Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 5:1.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

Jesus had many conversations, some I share with you only briefly, just a few short sentences and they go on their way, others are longer, but all are in the Bible for a reason and that reason is YOU. You need to hear them and get the edification, comfort, encouragement, and exhortation that is in them. In other words, you need to take them to heart and then get in a conversation with Me about how they apply to your current circumstances and situation. Let My Spirit in you guide you to all truth and teach you all things.

When Jesus had a conversation with anyone who came to Him with sincere faith, a wonderful thing would take place, which was purposeful on His part, their lives would never be the same again. They always departed from the conversation better than they had been before it. And so it has been from the beginning, I sent My Word to heal you and deliver you from all your destructions and He is the same yesterday, today and forever.

And this is true of the conversation we will consider next as well, but there is some ground work we will cover first, so we won’t actually get to the conversation itself until the next life lesson but you will see why as we go along. The conversation we will consider after the groundwork of today, however, changed not only the woman who conversed with Jesus at the well but all Samaria because of her conversation with Jesus. Because of her testimony and love for Jesus as Messiah, Samaria was ready for the preaching of Phillip as he shared the gospel after Jesus’ death and resurrection.

Never underestimate what a conversation with Jesus will do in your life, the lives of your family and friends, your city, your state, your nation, and the world. Think about Abraham and you will begin to see what I am talking about. His greatness lies in his faith in our conversations. I credited his faith to him as righteousness and made a covenant with him that brought My Word and authority back into the earth through his faith in My Word and it was through his line that I gave My Son to the world according to the flesh. On Mt. Moriah I taught Abraham the gospel ahead of time. He saw the day of Jesus and was glad. It spared his son and all of you.

Isaac spoke to Abraham his father and said, “My father!” And he said, “Here I am, my son.” And he said, “Behold, the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for the burnt offering?” Abraham said, “God Himself will provide the lamb for the burnt offering, my son.” Genesis 22:7-8.

The next day he [John the Baptist] saw Jesus coming to him and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! John 1:29.

Jesus said, “Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad.” John 8:56.

Crowds and individuals came to Jesus to be healed, to be provided for, to find wisdom and guidance, and no one who came with faith and a heart open to Jesus was disappointed. He healed them all.

When evening came, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed; and He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were ill. Matthew 8:16.

But the Pharisees went out and conspired against Him, as to how they might destroy Him. But Jesus, aware of this, withdrew from there. Many followed Him, and He healed them all. Matthew 12:14-15.

But there were also those that were sought out by Him, like the Samaritan woman at the well, Matthew, the man born blind, Zaccheus, and the invalid by the pool of Bethesda. But something wonderful happened for all who truly encountered Him and still happens for everyone who opens their heart to Him today: In Him they found their peace. The restful waters of peace.

David sang about it as My benefits, none of which he wanted to forget, so that he would be mindful to take them all. And you will see in the next life lesson that in one conversation with Jesus by the well of Sychar, the Samaritan woman found them all. In Jesus she found her peace, and so can you.

Bless the LORD, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget none of His benefits; He pardons all your iniquities, He heals all your diseases; He redeems your life from the pit, He crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion; He satisfies your days (adorns you) with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle. Psalm 103:1-5.

If you look at what I freely give you here, you will see it is My plan for your life. For I know the plans I have for you, plans for your shalom and not evil, to give you a future and a hope. Shalom is a word that loses much of its meaning in translation, but it is My Word over your life and it was the first word My Son said to His disciples in the upper room when I raised Him from the dead. It has been translated as “peace,” “all is well,” “wholeness,” and “prosperity,” and it means all of those and more. It means you have the whole pie of abundant life without one piece missing, and you see all the pieces of the pie in Psalm 103.

Everyone needs forgiveness to make them whole and free them from guilt and shame. So that is the first benefit listed in Psalm 103, it is the first piece of the full pie of life. Knowing you are forgiven no matter what you have done and that I keep forgiving you constantly and justly by the eternal blood of Jesus, will give you peace beyond understanding. It will free you from the prison of regret, shame, hopelessness, self-condemnation, resentment, and guilt. But best of all, it will open your heart to a relationship with Me, knowing that I am not mad with you and all sin is gone from you as far as I am concerned, transferred to Jesus and taken care of on Him. It is a beautiful gift that makes you clean and ready to go forward.

“I have wiped out your transgressions like a thick cloud and your sins like a heavy mist. Return to Me, for I have redeemed you.” Isaiah 44:22.

The next piece of the pie listed in Psalm 103 for the whole abundant life Jesus came to give you is the healing of all your ills, diseases and pains. Know that you are never begging Me to heal you, in Jesus, I have given you healing already. By His stripes you were healed. I AM the LORD who heals you. Exodus 15:26. Just receive and take it with faith by thanksgiving and go into peace.

And He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has saved you and made you whole; go into peace and be healed of your affliction.” Mark 5:34.

So you can check off forgiveness and healing, you have them, so you can find peace in Jesus for these. No fear, no anxiety, you have a redeemer and you have a healer and He is ready to save. In Him you can relax when trouble shows up. You have the answer and the solution already.

The next piece is freedom from oppression, whether it be mental, emotional, personal relationships, financial difficulties, or physical abuse. I redeem you out of the pit. Jesus redeemed you from the curse of the law which includes sickness, poverty (lack) and eternal death. It also includes depression and mental anxiety and mental and emotional illness. I set the captives free. I heal the broken hearted. I have good news for the afflicted. How do I do it? I sent My Word to heal you and deliver you from your “pits.” Get a hold of My Word and plant it your heart and speak with your mouth and do it in your life. You will overcome as more than a conqueror. And that is peace beyond understanding.

The next piece is that I crown and surround you with love and compassion. This speaks of good relationships with family, friends, co-workers, teachers, and supervisors. When you are pleasing to Me in your own heart, and you are when you are in Christ, I even make your enemies be at peace with you. It is not good for you to be alone. I give you those who support you. And I do this primarily now by the Body of Christ, the Church, of which you are all members and are family in Me to one another. The whole family on Earth and in Heaven that are believers in My Son all have My Name. Edify, encourage, comfort, help, and exhort one another. I have put you where you are for such a time as this.

I fill your days with good things. Every good thing given and every perfect gift comes down from Me, your Father of lights. There is no darkness or turning away from you in Me. Know that I am there to fill your days and years with good and to adorn your life with beauty and splendor. I want your life to be filled with good days and happy memories more than you do. I delight in your prosperity. Jesus died to give it to you. He became poor so you by His poverty could be made rich! 2 Corinthians 8:9.

I will rejoice greatly in the LORD, my soul will exult in my God; for He has clothed me with garments of salvation, He has wrapped me with a robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with a garland, And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. Isaiah 61:10.

But you have to be looking for the good and be quick to receive it when it comes to you. Do not be like the barren bush in the desert who never sees good when it comes but just keeps grumbling and complaining. Your joy has a lot to do with your mindset.

When Andrew and John started following Jesus when John the Baptist pointed Him out as the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world, Jesus asked them a question, which I now ask you, “What are you looking for?” Are you looking for the good or the bad? Seek and you shall find.

And the final piece of the shalom pie of the good life, is that I renew your youth like the eagle’s. This speaks of a long life of good days. This speaks of being fruitful even in old age. Like Moses. And how does that happen? First by receiving all of the benefits above it in Psalm 103, knowing you are forgiven, healed, prospered, loved, and filled with good things will renew your youth.

Planted in the house of the LORD, they will flourish in the courts of our God. They will still yield fruit in old age; they shall be full of sap and very green, to declare that the LORD is upright; He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him. Psalm 92:13-15.

Planted in My house, rooted and grounded in Christ, you will pull up all you need from Him, for He is the vine and you are the branches and the Holy Spirit is the divine life in the vine that flows into the branches to produce the fruit of the Spirit in you. You will be full of sap and very green. That is the anointing. The oil of joy keeps you young and My anointed Word is full of it. That is why Jesus told you that He had shared My Word with you so you would have His joy and your joy would be abundant. Joy keeps you young for My joy is your strength and it comes from keeping My Word. And I keep those who keep My Word, like Joshua and Caleb, they kept My Word and I renewed their youth so that they missed none of My good promises.

You will keep him in perfect peace (shalom shalom), the one whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. Trust in the LORD forever, for in Yah, the LORD, is the Rock eternal. Isaiah 26:3-4.

In Jesus you find your peace. And He is in Me and I am in Him and you are in Him and thus you are in Me. In Me you will find your peace. Yeshuah. Salvation. And conversations with Me will always bring you peace, shalom. In Me you find your peace. Remember who to have a conversation with when you are in trouble. Me. Conversations with Jesus are conversations with Me, He is always the way you come to Me. But He is a direct and living way. Without being in Him, the sin is still in the way, but in Him it is gone.

Well, that is enough for this Life Lesson. Let us consider the conversation with the woman by the well tomorrow but I think you are ready to put your bucket down in the eternal well-spring of peace, shalom. And that is where the thirsty woman of Samaria found hers. With joy you will draw water at the springs of Salvation, Yeshuah in Hebrew, and that is Jesus’ Name. Isaiah 12:2-3. Ask Him for a drink of living water. You will never thirst again.

I was in Christ, reconciling the world to Myself, not counting your trespasses against you. Don’t you see? All His conversations will be headed toward the reconciliation of Me and you. And that is wonderful. That is shalom.

I love you. Conversations with Jesus, your good Shepherd make you lie down in green pastures to feed and by restful waters of shalom peace to drink in all My benefits. Are you ready to partake? It will restore your soul (mind, will, and emotions) and make you complete (perfect).

Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass. 1Thessalonians 5:23-24.
