Happy is the nation whose God is the LORD; happy are the people he has chosen for his own! Psalm 33:12.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

Happy those who are chosen to be My own, My chosen people, they know perfect protection, predilection, preferred treatment, the Blessing of Abraham, redemption, deliverance, and they are more than conquerors—nothing can take them down—no weapon formed against them can prosper and every tongue that is raised against them they prove false. Their righteousness and vindication is from Me. I take care of My own, it has pleased Me to give My little flock the Kingdom. Nothing is too wonderful, nothing is impossible, nothing is too hard for Me to do for My chosen ones. For those whose names are forever in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

“Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine! When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, nor will the flame burn you. For I am the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior; I have given Egypt as your ransom, Cush and Seba in your place. Since you are precious in My sight, since you are honored and I love you, I will give other men in your place and other peoples in exchange for your life. Do not fear, for I am with you;I will bring your offspring from the east, and gather you from the west. I will say to the north, ‘Give them up!’ and to the south, ‘Do not hold them back.’ Bring My sons from afar and My daughters from the ends of the earth, Everyone who is called by My name, and whom I have created for My glory, whom I have formed, even whom I have made.” Isaiah 43:2-7.

And everything mentioned above I have done, the flood, the sea, the rivers, the fiery furnace, storms, attacks of enemy armies, giants, famine, prisons, wars, and I could go on and on, I have brought My people, My special treasures, through all these things with no harm. When you are in My secret place, nothing can harm you. Like Jesus, when it was not His time yet, that is, He had not taken all your sins into His flesh and had to die, for the wages of sin is death, no matter who tried to stone Him to death or throw Him over a cliff, He just walked right through their midst hidden in Me. And you who believe in Him you can live your life through Him as well. You can live Psalm 91. But what is  your part: “I will say to the LORD, my refuge and my fortress, MY GOD IN WHOM I TRUST.”

All are called, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me,” Revelation 3:20, but few are chosen.

Why is that when Jesus died once for all and paid the ransom to Me for all? He took all sin upon Himself and bore the judgment and punishment thereof for everyone from the beginning to the end of time. Sin is no longer the issue of your being chosen or of your eternal salvation. So what is the issue? Who are the chosen? What is the qualification? Only one: You answer the invitation of the knock at the door of your heart and choose Him by faith, and thereupon become a new creation in Christ. When you are in Christ, you become one of the chosen, My own special treasure. For He is My chosen One. You are all chosen in Him but it is your choice whether you will answer My call.

Then a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My Son, the Chosen One; listen to Him!” Luke 9:35.

Listen to Him. He is My Word to you. I have chosen you before you have chosen Me, but the ultimate decision is yours.

You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you. This I command you, that you love one another. John 15:16-17.

Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you, but then I ask you, will you choose to follow Me?

Then I said, “Here am I. Send me!” Isaiah 6:8.

Long ago, Joshua understood that to be chosen you must choose. And he did when he chose to walk in My ways by faith and keep My Word and not deviate off it to the right or the left. And as he led the people to conquer the promised land amid miracles, signs, and wonders as all My good promises came to pass before their eyes, Joshua told the people, If it is disagreeable in your sight to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves today whom you will serve: whether the gods which your fathers served which were beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living; but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” Joshua 24:15.

And all the people who had been taught by Joshua and witnessed his dedicated love for Me and My dedicated and loving response chose Me as well. One person who truly knows Me can draw a whole nation into the chosen. Like Abraham. Like David. Like Jesus.

The people answered and said, “Far be it from us that we should forsake the LORD to serve other gods; for the LORD our God is He who brought us and our fathers up out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage, and who did these great signs in our sight and preserved us through all the way in which we went and among all the peoples through whose midst we passed. The LORD drove out from before us all the peoples, even the Amorites who lived in the land. We also will serve the LORD, for He is our God.” Joshua 24:16-18.

The people chose to serve Me all the days of Joshua, and all the days of the elders who survived Joshua, who had seen all My great work which I had done for Israel. Judges 2:7. But then there arose another generation after them who did not know Me, nor the great works which I had done for Israel, and they forsook Me and served other gods, built altars to them, and bowed down to them. Judges 2:10-12. That is why I keep telling you to do things in remembrance of Me and to share My Word and the great things I have done for those who love Me to the coming generations so you do not fall away and serve vain idols and reject Me, the LORD who made you and turn to another as your source. But there is no other source. Every good thing given and every perfect gifts comes from Me. I want to do so much for you, please let Me by choosing Me so that you too can be an overcomer! Like Joshua. He consulted Me about everything and did everything with Me. And he was powerful. He watched walls come down, hail stones fall on their enemies in battle, the earth stop in its orbit as the sun stood still when he commanded it, and nations far more powerful than he had to bow down before him and serve My people. All I promised him he took by faith and lived it all with joy.

Who is chosen and what are the qualifications? I told you that I chose David. He was a man after My own heart. I told Samuel when I sent him to anoint David that I do not judge whom I choose by outer appearance but by the heart. I look deep into your heart. And in the heart I am looking for three things so that I can draw you into Jesus and keep you forever chosen.

  1. Faith, it is impossible to please Me without faith because to come to Me you must believe that I AM and that I reward those who seek Me, in other words, you believe that I am good and kind.
  2. Hope, a confident expectation of good things to come. In other words, you expect nothing but good from Me and you trust that I will perform for you and in you all that I have promised.
  3. Love, My kind of love in your heart, a caring, generous, compassionate heart that is open to service and acts of kindness with a steadfast desire to do what is right and good that does not waver based on another’s performance. The love I am talking about here is not selfish, seeking only its own interests, but has just as much, if not more joy, in doing good and giving generously to others as it does in obtaining its own, especially to those of the household of faith.

There are certain types of hearts I can draw to come to Me so that I can come near to them and show them My Yeshuah, and there are certain kinds I cannot. They simply will not come.

Do not be as the horse or as the mule which have no understanding, whose trappings include bit and bridle to hold them in check, otherwise they will not come near to you. Psalm 32:9.

My Son showed this in the parable He told of the sower of seed, and the sower was sowing My Word into people’s hearts. Each responded in different way, but there was only one type of heart that bore a harvest, and that was the good, honorable, and generous heart that did not reject My Word but found delight to persevere in it. Luke 8:15.

When people have hearts turned towards Me, that is, turned towards love and goodness and seeking more, I always guide them to My Word. Jeremiah had a heart for Me though for many  years the kings of Judah and the priests had set aside My Word and gone after pagan gods, when Jeremiah’s father, the High Priest, Hilkiah, found the scrolls of My Word in a neglected room in the Temple, for filled with idols My Temple was in disrepair, he brought the Word to the king, Joshiah, and also to his son Jeremiah. And both Josiah and Jeremiah found delight in My life giving Words and drew the people back to Me.

Your words were found and I devoured them, and Your words became for me a joy and the delight of my heart; for I have been called by Your name, O LORD God of hosts. Jeremiah 15:16.

Jeremiah’s name (יִרְמְיָה) means that I, Yahavah, exalts, lifts up, and loosens the bonds that encumber you. It is from the words רום (rum), meaning “to exalt” or “to lift up,” and יה (Yah), a shortened form of My Name of Yahavah (יהוה). You hear it in Hallelujah (yah).

When you draw close to Me, I draw close to you. I draw you and when your heart responds and draws towards Me, I can draw you into Jesus who draws you cleansed, holy, blameless, and made complete back into Me.

How blessed is the one whom You choose and bring near to You to dwell in Your courts. We will be satisfied with the goodness of Your house, Your holy temple. By awesome deeds You answer us in righteousness, O God of our salvation, You who are the trust of all the ends of the earth and of the farthest sea. Psalm 65:4-5.

And now that Jesus has come and died and been glorified at My right hand, in Him you are all made complete and perfect before Me, there is only one necessary ingredient to assure that your name stays in the Lamb’s Book of Life and that you can live in the Blessing of the chosen, and that is your choice. I have chosen you, have you chosen Me? He who believes in My Son will never perish but have eternal life. The three criteria to qualify as chosen have new meaning:

  1. Faith in Jesus as Messiah, Lord, and Savior, the good news of your Salvation.
  2. Hope in Jesus for all My promises are “yes” to you in Him. He is your hope of forgiveness, justification, righteousness, and redemption. In Him you are assured of these for I have made Him to be wisdom unto you, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption. 1 Corinthians 1:30.
  3. Love. Believe in His Name and love one another as He loved you.

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another. John 13:34-35.

My eyes roam the world looking for the forgiving, giving heart for I know that is the one whose heart is towards Me that I can draw to My Son. It is you that I have chosen to be My own.

Yes, I know that everyone who has taken the time to read this is interested in My Word and I want you to know that My call is for all but My eye is on you. You are chosen, beloved, forgiven, blessed, and favored. Come and write with Me the story of your life. I have it all written down since I conceived you in My heart at the beginning, you just need to agree and walk it out. Like Mary, “let it be done to Me according to your Word.” And all generations call her blessed. I who am mighty will do great things for you. Just come.

But we should always give thanks to God for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God has chosen you from the beginning for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and faith in the truth. It was for this He called you through our gospel, that you may gain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Thessalonians 2:13-14.

Do you remember the question the people asked of Jesus after He had multiplied the bread and the fish? They wanted to do that too. Therefore they said to Him, “What shall we do, so that we may work the works of God?” Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent.” John 6:28-29.

Do you see why that is the answer to everything for life and godliness, for the abundant life?

Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father. Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it. If you love Me, you will keep My commandments. I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever; that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you. John 14:12-17.

I love you. There is a choice before you. I set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse, choose life that you and your descendants may live forever. Abraham did made the choice for life and never turned back, and in Christ, you are all descendants of Abraham. Your choice affects generations and nations. It did with faithful Abraham.

And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s descendants, heirs according to promise. Galatians 3:29.

Now then, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be My own special treasure among all the peoples, for all the earth is Mine; and you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. Exodus 19:5-6.
