But know this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture is a matter of one’s own interpretation, for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God. 2 Peter 1:20-21.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
Prophecy has to do with truth. If a prophecy proves false it is not a prophetic utterance but a lie of the demon.
If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the LORD does not take place or come true, that is a message the LORD has not spoken. Deuteronomy 18:21-22.
My Word is true and always comes to pass. Once a prophet has released My Word into the earth, I watch over that Word to perform it. Jeremiah 1:12. Release My Words in your life and the lives of those around you. Seek to prophesy.
So is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. Isaiah 55:11.
It may be a thousand years later but a thousand years are as a day to Me and a day as a thousand years.
But do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day. 2 Peter 3:8.
David wrote his eyewitness account of the crucifixion of Jesus a thousand years before it occurred in time in Psalm 22. But he saw it in the timelessness of the Spirit and proclaimed it enabling Me to bring it to pass. He told all the details, from the words spoken, to the thirst experienced, the division and casting of lots for his garments, and so much more.
What am I telling you? You can know and believe I am the one true God, that there is a God who loves you and is working on your behalf at all times, and that what you read in the Bible, no matter how many prophetic books it contains, is perfectly consistent and is all one book that has only absolute truth in it. And it has one author though many people have written its passages and that author is Me by the inspiration of My Spirit.
For we did not follow cleverly devised tales when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of His majesty. For when He received honor and glory from God the Father, such an utterance as this was made to Him by the Majestic Glory, “This is My beloved Son with whom I am well-pleased,” and we ourselves heard this utterance made from heaven when we were with Him on the holy mountain. So we have the prophetic word made more sure, to which you do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star arises in your hearts. But know this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture is a matter of one’s own interpretation, for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God. 2 Peter 1:16-21.
It is Spirit breathed.
All Scripture is inspired by God (God breathed) and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17.
You do not have to be shaken and tossed about by every wind of some new philosophy or doctrine or religion invented by men no matter how hard they preach it and believe it. And you will find the things they have so adamantly foretold have not come to pass. Science fiction is a better term for them but many people believe their lies and even take their lives thinking aliens from outer space are coming from behind a comet to take them out of this world, or the like. But they did not, they just died and came before Me. The fool says in his heart that I do not exist but he is wrong no matter how many college degrees he has, even if they are in theology.
You can trust the solid rock of My Word. What I told Joshua still stands just as firm for each one of you if you want to live a successful and overcoming life filled with health and good days.
Only be strong and very courageous; be careful to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, so that you may have success wherever you go. This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:7-9.
A thousand can fall about you or ten thousand but it will not come near you. I am your refuge.
As for God, His way is perfect! The word of the LORD is tested and tried; He is a shield to all those who take refuge and put their trust in Him. Psalms 18:30.
Stay anchored in the truth of My Word and you will never go astray after idols, strange philosophers, false prophets and ideologies, psychic hotlines, witchcraft, astrology and horoscopes, new age, and those who will mislead many in the endtimes. Some of these things should not even be mentioned by you, they are so perverted. Avoid listening to these deceivers who think they have found the truth but are walking in darkness.
I must warn you as well that they will take My Words and quote them, as the devil did when he was trying to tempt Jesus, or use the operating system of faith without joining with Me as your source of power and good things but only looking at self (your own “inner power”) or some “force” in the universe, but just as Jesus countered the devil with the context and the truth of My Word, so you should you. But to do this you must know Me by My Word and know it well through reading, meditating, speaking and doing it as I counseled Joshua. And Joshua was extremely successful because he could hear from Me.
Unless what you are being told or the thoughts entering your mind, so matter how persuasive they seem, lines up exactly with My Word they are not the truth and will destroy you with a lie. Lies perish and so do those that submit to them as their master, as Adam found.
Do not let other people make you entertain doubts about your faith in Me. I repeat: Anything that does not line up precisely with My Word will destroy you. I say this to you with tears. My Son wept over the city of Jerusalem who walked away from the truth of what all My prophets had foretold and did not recognize Jesus as the Messiah and My Son when every detail of His life had been foretold and was fulfilled in Him right before their eyes. My Son told them that Abraham, Moses, David, Isaiah, and Daniel all spoke of Him and had seen His day and rejoiced. I reveal things to My prophets. I do nothing without first telling them so they can release it into the earth and open the way for My visitation to those who revere Me.
If people try to make you doubt the Bible you should know and understand that what is in the Bible is truth and you can back that up by showing hundreds of prophesies therein already fulfilled.
Yes, the Bible contains numerous examples of prophecies that have been fulfilled. Here are some notable instances:
The conquest of Babylon by Cyrus: Isaiah prophesied about 200 years in advance that Cyrus (by name before he was even born) would conquer Babylon and allow the Jews to return to Jerusalem. This prophecy was fulfilled when Cyrus the Great of Persia conquered Babylon in 539 BC and made a decree allowing the Jews to return to Jerusalem and rebuild My house, the temple. And he funded it from his government treasury and the peoples of his country and nations surrounding Jerusalem under his control.
Messianic prophecies: Hundreds of Old Testament prophecies about the Messiah were fulfilled in Jesus Christ’s life, including:
His birth in Bethlehem (Micah 5:2; Matthew 2:1)
His virgin birth (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:18)
His healing ministry (Isaiah 35:5-6; Matthew 11:5)
His crucifixion with sinners (Isaiah 53:12; Matthew 27:38)
His resurrection (Psalm 16:10; Mark 16:6)
The fall of Tyre: Ezekiel prophesied the destruction of Tyre, stating that it would be scraped bare like a rock (Ezekiel 26:4-5). This was fulfilled when Alexander the Great conquered Tyre in 332 BC, using the rubble of the old city to build a causeway to the island fortress.
The rise and fall of empires: Daniel accurately predicted the succession of four major empires: Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, and Rome. He even foresaw the rapid rise of Alexander the Great and the subsequent division of his empire among four generals.
The destruction and restoration of Jerusalem: Multiple prophets, including Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Hosea, foretold the scattering of the Jews throughout the world and their eventual return to Israel. This prophecy was fulfilled in the 20th century with the establishment of the modern state of Israel. This prophecy about Israel becoming a nation in one day comes from Isaiah 66:8, which states: “Who has heard of such a thing? Who has seen such things? Can a land be born in one day or a nation be brought forth in a moment? Yet no sooner is Zion in labor than she gives birth to her children.”
Israel was re-established as a nation on May 14, 1948, shortly after the end of World War II. This event fulfilled the prophecy in Isaiah 66:8 about a nation being born in a day. Here’s how it happened: On November 29, 1947, the United Nations adopted Resolution 181, recommending the partition of Palestine into separate Jewish and Arab states. As the British Mandate was ending, Zionist leaders prepared to establish a modern Jewish state. On May 14, 1948, David Ben-Gurion, the head of the Jewish Agency, proclaimed the establishment of the State of Israel. The United States, under President Harry S. Truman, recognized the new nation on the same day.
And just like the soldiers at the cross of Christ did not know they were exactly doing what David had forthtold a thousand years before, the leaders of the allied nations did not realize they were carrying out Isaiah 66:8, which people, seeing the scattering of the Jewish people and their oppression thought was impossible and could not come to pass. But it did. As does all My Word.
The sum of Your word is truth [the total of the full meaning of all Your individual precepts]; and every one of Your righteous decrees endures forever. Psalms 119:160.
For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. Matthew 5:18.
The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever. Isaiah 40:8.
For all flesh (mankind) is like grass, and all its glory (honor) like [the] flower of grass. The grass withers and the flower drops off, But the Word of the Lord (divine instruction, the Gospel) endures forever. And this Word is the good news which was preached to you. 1 Peter 1:24-25.
I tell you that I desire that you all prophesy and yet there is a spiritual gift of prophecy. Just like the gift of faith, this is a gift that takes you up to another level of seeing as I see. Isaiah walked in this gift when he wrote his Chapter 53 account of the death of Jesus on the cross bearing your sins, illnesses, pains, grief, and sorrows. He not only foretold the exact physical details of the event but also what was taking place in the spirit in working out your salvation, forgiveness, and healing by putting all your sins, diseases, pain, and guilt on the innocent Lamb in whom there was no sin and yet I crushed Him under the weight and burden of accounting all your sins to Him as He made satisfaction before Me for them all. Isaiah saw all this.
Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I. Send me!” Isaiah 6:8.
There is no other book in the world like the Bible. I share My life, My thoughts, and My faith with you therein contained in My Words that plant in your heart and grow if you will receive and cultivate them. There is no other book that tells the end from the beginning. No other book where things are spoken that all come to pass. No other book that gives new life to those who read it. No other book that feeds your spirit and turns you into a new creation. There is no other book that turns you into a prophet just by speaking what is therein with faith. The Bible is a book of prophecy. It is a book of power.
I have much more to say about the wonderful gift of prophecy but this is enough for now. I desire that you all prophesy.
I love you. In our next life lesson you will understand more. There is always more. My Word has many levels of revelation that are all there for your edification and JOY if you care to draw them out.
“Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; for the LORD God is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation.” Therefore you will joyously draw water from the springs of salvation.” Isaiah 12:2-3.
Isaiah wrote that. He loved My calling on his life. The more you love your calling, the more I can reveal to you.
