Immediately Jesus knew in his spirit that this was what they were thinking in their hearts, and he said to them, “Why are you thinking these things? Mark 2:8.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
I have given you who believe in My Son the mind of Christ as His body the Church. And I sealed you in Christ and destined you for eternal life. And I made Him to be wisdom unto you, and righteousness, sanctification, and redemption. You are made perfect in Him.
Do you recall what grieved Me about creating man at the time of Noah? Evil thoughts—wicked thoughts—conceived in men’s hearts. Genesis 6:5.
Men’s lives were depraved and their wickedness was great. They had corrupted the world. Genesis 6:12.
And it all came from entertaining the wrong thoughts.
It is all about your thoughts. I look at the heart—the thoughts and motives of your heart. My eyes roam to and fro across the world looking for hearts towards Me—hearts inclined to love—and all I saw at that time was that no desire conceived in the heart of man was ever anything but evil. Genesis 6:5.
All evil begins as it did with Adam and Eve. Well, actually with Lucifer. An evil thought that is not pulled out when it is first conceived but is instead allowed to plant and grow.
Do not permit evil thoughts to dwell and grow in you. Come into the light. Evil grows in the dark. But it can only grow if you allow it too. Sin is lurking at your door, but you can be its master.
Let the scoundrel forsake his way, and the wicked man his thoughts. Isaiah 55:7.
And the way you grow evil is by meditating on the wrong thoughts and ultimately speaking them and acting upon them. The mouth speaks from the heart’s abundance.
Guard your heart with all diligence for from it flow the issues of life.
You determine what you grow in your heart—in the garden of your heart. How does your garden grow? It is time to take a look, it is time to look for fruit, it is time for some pruning and weeding. It is time to clean up and clear up your thoughts.
Why are you so sluggish about this? I do not want you to be unaware of why your life is where it is today. It is a result of your thoughts. As a man thinks, so is he.
If you want a change in your life you probably do not need the tremendous miracle you think you do. It is most likely all you need to do is change your thoughts. You need to transform your life by the renewal of your mind.
For just as meditating upon and speaking fear filled, depressing, hateful, lustful, hopeless, pessimistic thoughts leads to all kinds of negative emotions, sickness, poverty, failure, addictions, crime, and depression so too does meditating upon and speaking courageous, joyful, noble, lovely, pure, hope-filled, optimistic thoughts lead to joy, health, abundance, success, freedom, and peace. Which do you prefer? It is entirely up to you.
Clean up your thoughts, open up a clear path of light in your heart. John the Baptist came to prepare the way for My Son in the hearts of men. And what did he tell them to do to open the way? To repent! And what did he tell them they were preparing for? For hearing the voice of the One who was to come after him and who would baptize you in the Holy Spirit and fire. A people well disposed to welcome My Son.
And cleaning up is not difficult. This may surprise you because most people do not act like they can but you can control your thoughts. It is your mind and you have control over it. You do not think on anything you do not permit. And do not just try to empty your mind of evil thoughts, that will not work, you must fill your mind with beautiful and true thoughts that displace and drive out the evil ones– and if you want to know the most beautiful, noble, excellent and lovely thoughts, you will find them in My Word. Just read what I think about you! You are holy and blameless in My eyes in Christ. You are precious and I love you. I so love you I sent My Son to die for you. I created the earth and all there is in it for you. I am your healer and your provider. It pleases Me to give you the Kingdom– a place of righteousness, joy and peace in the Holy Spirit with infinite supplies of every perfect gift.
And when you have taken Jesus as your Lord and received Him in your heart you are My heir—a joint heir with Christ. And all I have is His, so all I have is yours. And an heir does not work for his inheritance—someone else has already worked hard for it and you just receive the fruit of their labors because of your relationship with the one who amassed the fortune which you obtain as pure gift because of that relationship.
And you have read My Will, My Testament, to you, both the Old and the New.
Receive the Word of life, receive My Testament to you, and let it plant in your heart and grow. My Word has the power to save you. No other words can do that. If you meditate upon and speak My Words and do them you will find they are life to those who find them and health to their whole bodies. My Word is good for you. Man does not live on bread alone but on every Word that comes from My mouth. My Word edifies—builds you up—it never tears you down or condemns you. My Words are filled with promises of victory, success, strength, forgiveness, mercy, healing, love, favor, and grace, no other words are. To whom shall you go? I have the Words of eternal life.
Jesus only spoke My Words because He knew that they alone had eternal life in them.
Remember how I told the wicked how to change their lives? I said “let the wicked man forsake his thoughts.” It is his thoughts that make him wicked. If you change those, you change him. And that is the only way you will change from a life of evil, sin, and death to a life of love, fruitful deeds, and abundant life—by forsaking evil thoughts. If you do not feed them they will starve, they will not grow but will die.
And what are evil thoughts that defile and corrupt your life? You should be aware of them and avoid them. They should set off an alarm in your conscience each time they attempt to plant in your heart. The thoughts that come from within and defile you include sexual immorality, theft, murder, anger, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. Mark 7:21-22. I also often tell you not to worry, fear, or be anxious about anything. Never surrender to those thoughts. Cut them down with the Sword of the Spirit (My Word in your heart and mouth).
You may now be wondering what you can let your mind dwell on during the day at all times. I tell you that too.
Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, of good repute, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Dwell on these things. Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from My Son—everything you hear and read in My Word. Then My peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Cast all your cares on Me, because I care for you. Ask Me to fill you with the Holy Spirit and He will monitor your thoughts in witness with your spirit. He will guide you to all truth.
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing and give constant thanks.
Join Paul in taking every thought captive for Christ. Be discerning and selective on what you think about and talk about. Use your mind as a tool to bring you to the life you want to live. Walk in the light and imitate Me as by dear children by walking in love. I think, talk and walk in love and so I am love. You can be filled with love in the same way. Be nothing but love. Love gives you joy all the day.
It all begins with a thought which is contained in words whether you speak them or think them. And that is true for all creation. In the Beginning was the Word. The Word begins, creates, and sustains it all. It does in your life too.
Watch your thoughts. Clean up your garden. My Word cleanses you. My Word is the way, the truth, and the life.
I love you. I have told you these things that you may share My joy and your joy will be complete.
Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. 2 Corinthians 7:1.
Let the scoundrel forsake his way, and the wicked man his thoughts. Isaiah 55:7.
