“Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.” John 14:6.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

The truth sets you free and in Christ you are in the truth. In Him you are free—gloriously free. Free from all that would lead you astray, put you in fear, and deliver you into the darkness. Free from all that bound you.

“And this woman, a daughter of Abraham as she is, whom Satan has bound for eighteen long years, should she not have been released from this bond on the Sabbath day?” Luke 13:16.

Jesus came to undo the works of the devil as if sin had never been, never enslaved, and never waylaid you. How did He do it?

He testified to the truth. John 18:37.

You cancel a lie by the truth. It is that simple. Truth takes down a lie. Lies perish but the truth endures forever. Build your life on the truth.

“Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and does them, is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded on the rock. Everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. The rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and it fell—and great was its fall.”

In court if an adversary files a case against you containing lies, you must answer it with the truth (and evidence to back it up) if you want to prove false and win the case. You must answer that weapon raised against you and rout it out by the truth. In Jesus, you have the truth on your side.

“No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; and every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness and vindication is from Me,” declares the LORD. Isaiah 54:17.

You cancel the lies of the devil (works of the devil) by testifying to the truth. You tread down a lie with the truth.

You will tread upon the lion and cobra, the young lion and the serpent you will trample down. Psalm 91:13.

Answer the devil, who is a liar and the father of lies. Remember, all he says is a lie. So every time he shoots out his fiery darts, you can take them down and extinguish them by answering with the truth. The truth is your shield and bulwark. Psalm 91:4.

Truth takes down a lie. The more truth you have the stronger you are against all the forces of the enemy. Like Jesus, they don’t even phase you, because you are free and intend to stand your ground. And when you have your foundation sunk deep down on the solid rock of My Word, no storm can take you down.

Born again from above by My imperishable Word of truth when you receive Jesus as Lord and believe in your heart I raised Him from the dead with all your sins gone, a most wonderful thing takes place. You become a new creation in Christ and your spirit becomes alive to Me and dead to sin. And as you fill your mind and heart with My Word and yield to the Holy Spirit within you so that you can be led by Him as My child, you become able to take down strongholds and resist every tactic and wile of the evil one. You become more than a conqueror as you renew your mind by getting to know Me and what I have freely given you in Christ.

When your realize that you are not trying to get things from Me but already have them given to you freely in Christ, you become confident, bold, and ready to take all that is yours and grow and develop it. You are ready to plant the seed of My Word for the results you want and then to harvest it with the Sword of the Spirit. You will no longer let the devil steal your harvest. This was the story of Gideon when I intervened and taught him to be more than a conqueror—a hero with the strength of an entire army. And how did I tell him he could take the enemy down single handed?

The LORD (Yahavah) looked at Gideon and said, “Go in this your strength and deliver Israel from the hand of Midian. Have I not sent you?” Gideon said to Him, “O Lord (Adonai), how shall I deliver Israel? Behold, my family is the least in Manasseh, and I am the youngest in my father’s house.” But the LORD said to him, “Surely I will be with you, and you shall defeat Midian as one man.” Judges 6:14-16.

You choose the seed you will plant for the harvest. If a farmer wants wheat, he plants wheat, he does not plant cotton. And if wants a big crop, he plants a lot of seed and watches over it and cultivates it to harvest.

He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 2 Corinthians 9:6.

You may think that sounds simplistic, but why then do so many, in fact the majority of people, sow words of illness, defeat, failure, fear, worry, and bitterness? This is the harvest they will get.

“According to what I have seen, those who plow iniquity and those who sow trouble harvest it.” Job 4:8.

Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. Galatians 6:7-8.

In Jesus, I have given you everything you need for life and godliness. You already have all the ingredients for a beautiful, perfect life given to you in Him. But just as you can have all the ingredients to make a cake, they can be sitting on your kitchen shelf and in your refrigerator, but you do not have a cake until you mix them together and make the cake according to the recipe. And if in making the cake you leave out any of the ingredients, say the sugar and the eggs, it is missing something and is not a complete cake that is good to eat.

The same is true with all I have given you. I have blessed you with every spiritual blessing in Heaven in Christ but if you never take them and mix them together and make your beautiful perfect life you will not have put them to use. They will be there idle all the day until you put them to work in the vineyard.

And to all the ingredients I give you, to put them together, you must mix them with faith.

For indeed we have had good news preached to us, just as they also; but the word they heard did not profit them, because it was not mixed with faith in those who heard. Hebrews 4:2.

Now let us look what My Holy Spirit said through and with My apostle Peter and now you will understand. He is showing you how to make your life beautiful by combining the ingredients of all the magnificent promises I have already said “yes” to in Christ and freely given you to work with.

Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord; seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust. Now for this very reason also, applying all diligence, in your faith supply moral excellence, and in your moral excellence, knowledge, and in your knowledge, self-control, and in your self-control, perseverance, and in your perseverance, godliness, and in your godliness, brotherly kindness, and in your brotherly kindness, love. For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they render you neither useless nor unfruitful in the true knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. For he who lacks these qualities is blind or short-sighted, having forgotten his purification from his former sins. Therefore, brethren, be all the more diligent to make certain about His calling and choosing you; for as long as you practice these things, you will never stumble; for in this way the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be abundantly supplied to you. 2 Peter 1:2-11.

That is a beautiful, perfect life of no worry and no fear mixing all the ingredients by faith until the many layered cake is ready to serve. Taste and see My goodness. I have given you all you need for life and godliness, just put them together by faith. And you too will be a partaker of the divine nature.

I love you. Be diligent about this or the perfect pie of life will never be yours. You must use all the ingredients that are required. Shalom. Jesus died to give it to you.
