Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
In this world, evil is around. This is because people give a place to evil in their lives. People have dominion authority over the earth and over their lives but you can abdicate that authority by letting someone or something else take hold of your mind and control your thoughts. It all depends on what you allow in and what you shut out. You may think you are in control of your thoughts, but if you are troubled, tormented, agitated, fearful, depressed, offended, or angry it is because of what thoughts you are letting plant in you and grow in you. And it also has to do with what memories you are allowing yourself to keep speaking about and airing either to yourself or others.
The good news is that even though evil is all around you, you can become inaccessible to it when you make Me your dwelling place.
For you have made the LORD, my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place. No evil will befall you, nor will any plague come near your tent. Psalm 91:9-10.
In Me there is no darkness only light. In Me there is no evil, only good. I think in love, talk in love, and walk in love, everything else is foreign to Me and cannot enter. There is no place for darkness in light and there is no place for hate in love. There is no place for death in life, eternal life. And there is no place for evil in good. You conquer darkness by light, hatred by love, death by life, and evil by good. You overcome evil with good.
Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. Romans 12:21.
Words run swiftly and once in motion they will keep seeking a place to plant until someone either receives them or stops them.
He sends forth His command to the earth; His word runs very swiftly. Psalm 147:15.
Words once set in motion, whether good or evil, look to plant and grow until they are rebuked, answered, or agreed with. If received, they plant, and if cultivated they will grow and they will produce what is in them. You receive a word by taking it in and speaking in agreement with it.
You of little faith! Do not worry then, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear for clothing?’ For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Matthew 6:30-31.
A thought of worry about provision or healing may approach you but you do not have to take that care.
When my anxious thoughts multiply within me, Your consolations delight my soul. Psalm 94:19.
You take it, however, by picking it up and saying it. And saying it over and over you then cultivate it as you keep pondering on it and keep speaking it, and soon it is entrenched by growing to full stature in your soul.
For there is no good tree which produces bad fruit, nor, on the other hand, a bad tree which produces good fruit. For each tree is known by its own fruit. Luke 6:43-44.
Your mouth will speak from your heart’s abundance and it is up to you what you are you are letting plant and what you are cultivating as growth. You will eat the fruit of your lips. Death and life are in the power (hand) of your tongue. Put the hand of your tongue in My hand.
His radiance is like the sunlight; He has rays flashing from His hand, and there is the hiding of His power. Habakkuk 3:4.
But for you who fear My name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its rays; and you will go forth and skip about like calves from the stall. You will tread down the wicked, for they will be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day which I am preparing,” says the LORD of hosts. Malachi 4:2-3.
When My hand is upon you that is favor. And when you are in Jesus, you are in His hand, and His hand is in My hand. There is no snatching out of My hand. In My hand the evil one cannot touch you.
My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.” John 10:27-30.
How is it that you dwell in Me so as to be inaccessible to evil, giving the darkness, that undertow of evil that wants entrance into your mind and heart, no place of entry. Jesus lived like that and as He has done so I enable you to do as well.

I tell you to give NO place to the devil:
Therefore, laying aside falsehood, speak truth each one of you with his neighbor, for we are members of one another. Be angry, and yet do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and do not give the devil a place (topos (τόπος): place, location, region, opportunity). Ephesians 4:25-27.
How do you give the devil a place in you to trouble you and ruin your life with evil? Like the weeds spoiling the perfect harvest of wheat. He is sending out thoughts, fiery darts, accusations and fears, symptoms and sickness, and then he waits to see who will pick them up and let them plant in them.
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12.
But I also am sending out My Word and you have a choice of what you will choose. Life or death. Cursing or blessing. Receive My Word and take down the others and you will save your souls (mind, will, and emotions) from much trouble and pain. Let the wicked man forsake his thoughts and replace them with Mine.
Therefore, putting aside all filthiness and all that remains of wickedness, in humility receive the Word implanted, which is able to save your souls. James 1:21.
The way you stop the fiery darts (thoughts of fear, lust, guilt, shame, accusations, and the like, that is, all thoughts and words that deprive you of My shalom peace) that are bombarding the earth constantly from the devil and the demons (but remember I too am speaking from the rising of the sun to its setting and I give you songs in the night) is by taking up the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is My Word. My truth is a shield and bulwark around you.
His truth and faithfulness is a shield and bulwark. Psalm 91:4.
Truth is your sure protection from the lies of the devil, for he is a liar and the father of lies. He cannot speak but lies, whereas it is impossible for Me to lie. And he lies about who you are to Me and especially who you are if you have been born again from above by My Word, for you are in Christ, where there is no condemnation for you now.
When evil words or thoughts rise in your mind or are spoken to you by others, you must deal with them or they will keep moving and the one sending them can stay and see if you receive them.
And the serpent poured water like a river out of his mouth after the woman, so that he might cause her to be swept away with the flood. But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and drank up the river which the dragon poured out of his mouth. So the dragon was enraged with the woman, and went off to make war with the rest of her children, who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus. And the dragon stood on the sand of the sea. Revelation 12:15 – Revelation 13:1.
When someone the devil has taken captive to do his will or the devil, or an unclean spirit who fell from the host with him, accuses you or others to you or speaks thoughts or words of fear, offense, abuse, rude remarks, or a host of other offensive or bitter words, do not regurgitate those words or go to tell all your friends of the rude and offensive remark that was made to you. You are reinforcing it and keeping it alive. Answer the devil with the opposite from My Word that speaks a positive result in place of the negativity of those words and cut them down with the sword of the Spirit. Such as if the enemy comes with fear that you will have cancer, do not just say you rebuke the cancer, since you do not have it, instead say, “the LORD is My healer and I walk in perfect health, He forgives all My sins and heals all My ills, I dwell in Him and no plague or illness can come near my tent (body). I do not fear the pestilence that stalks by night or the arrow that flies by day. It will not come near me.” And you could go on until that thought must depart.
And do not repeat negative words that were said about you, such as “My teacher said I was stupid.” Or “My dad said I would never amount to anything but always fail.” Never repeat words spoken over you that you do not want unless you refute them. Say, “the Father has given me wisdom in Christ Jesus generously and He always causes me to triumph.” Otherwise you are sowing and growing them within you. The more you say it the more you plant it.
Words are conductors and will produce in your life if you receive (believe) them. The devil deceives with words, if you receive his words then you open the door to him to come in and run your thoughts. He did this with Eve and took over her mind and will and she thought she was doing it herself and she was by receiving what she chose to believe but she could have just as easily stuck with My words of life.
Never speak fear. It contaminates your faith.
The devil can only suggest thoughts, memories and words to get them in the forefront of your mind but he cannot do anything against you until you say them as your own. Then he has his door in to wreak havoc in your life.
Job reveals why the devil took such an entrance into his life: “For what I fear comes upon me, and what I dread befalls me. I am not at ease, nor am I quiet, and I am not at rest, but turmoil comes.” Job 3:25-26.
And Job also picked up another thought of the devil about his children but Job did not refute it or speak to his children, he took that fear that they were sinning and kept speaking it continuously.
His sons used to go and hold a feast in the house of each one on his day, and they would send and invite their three sisters to eat and drink with them. When the days of feasting had completed their cycle, Job would send and consecrate them, rising up early in the morning and offering burnt offerings according to the number of them all; for Job said, “Perhaps my sons have sinned and cursed God in their hearts.” Thus Job did continually. Job 1:4-5.
Do not speak negatively and pray from fear about your children, say what I tell you to declare about them:
All my children are taught by the LORD and great is the peace (shalom) of my children. In righteousness you will be established; you will be far from oppression, for you will not fear; and from terror, for it will not come near you. Isaiah 54:13-14.
If you speak death words, the devil watched over those to perform them, I cannot and will not perform those, they to Me are idle words. If you speak Words of life, I watch over those to perform them.
Do not keep going over past events that caused you pain, offense, or anger in the past, whether in your own mind or talking about it to others or even bringing it up to remind another person of how mean or awful they were to you. If you do this you will never be happy even if you are in a very good place now. Every time you go over how awful that other person was or how awful you were, you update it and validate it so that it keeps troubling you and moving in your life. Venting is a way of pulling up the fire of hell onto your tongue and into your very bones. And you will notice the devil is constantly trying to bring up evil things you did or someone did to you till you have no peace. If you join with him in these inner accusations it will trouble your mind and let the devil in to steal, kill, and destroy.
Consider Joseph, the son of Jacob, his brothers planned to kill him and then, instead, they sold him into slave traffic and he was sold in a foreign country. He, the favorite and pampered son, became a slave and then due to the sinful behavior of his master’s wife, which he would not participate in, he ended up falsely accused and in prison. But through it all he remained a person of excellence who never compromised his faith in Me and his righteous conduct. He never in his entire life brought up or talked about what his brother’s or his master’s wife had done to him. When his fellow prisoners asked him why he was in prison, even they noticed his integrity and his joy, he just said he was taken out of his country by violence and that he had done nothing deserving of prison.
And you know he never told the history of his past because Pharaoh, who loved Joseph, was very pleased to meet Joseph’s brothers, whom he had never heard of, and honored them highly for Joseph’s sake. Joseph never even brought it up to his brothers, he received them with great love and wept over them because it was such a joy to see his own brethren again. They brought it up though out of fear that he was holding it against them, but he assured them though they meant to harm him he was pleased with the result I had worked through it, though I did not will them to do what they did, so that their conduct was not even an issue at that point.
And the result of him leaving behind what had happened to him, which was terrible abuse, he went to the greatest heights that anyone in that nation other than Pharaoh could achieve. He was faithful in little things, such as not venting and gossiping, so I put him in charge of great things. Joseph not only forgave, but he forgot by not allowing himself to dwell on the harm but only the advantage in his future. He never tried to get even with any of those who had tried to ruin his life, including Potipher’s wife. But learn from this, no one can ruin your life but you. Be careful who you are listening to and following.
Whether you acknowledge it or not your entire life is based on words. Stop repeating wrong words and say the right results that you want to see growing in your life. Do not keep recalling the evil someone did to you in the past. That is over. Each time you go through it again you bring it into the present to torment you.
The devil cannot just do anything he wants with you or he would have destroyed everyone by now. He can only do what you allow. You have to let him in. And retelling the past abuse to yourself or others you are opening the door to him to trouble your mind and put hate in your heart. You cannot let your mind go back and rehearse evil things of the past and live peacefully in the present. Watch what you allow your mind to dwell on.
And stop the accusations of yourself and others. That is the devil, he is the accuser of the brethren and accuses you day and night trying to get you to agree and condemn yourself and others. Stop accusing others of ruining your life. No one can ruin your life but you. Stop coping with things and take authority over your thoughts and words.
Sanctify your mind, whatever you do in thought, word, or deed, do it unto Me and there is a lot you will stop thinking on because it gives Me no glory and torments you.
And do not fear their intimidation, and do not be troubled, but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence; and keep a good conscience so that in the thing in which you are slandered, those who revile your good behavior in Christ will be put to shame. 1 Peter 3:14-16.
I love you. Let the blood of My Son wash your conscience clean and know that I work everything together, no matter how contrary it was to My Will, for your good when you love Me, and if you love Me you keep My Words, and are called by My purpose, which is that all be saved and come to know the truth that sets you free.
Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father. Ephesians 5:17.
And then your life will be sweet.
