For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. Colossians 1:13-14.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
I am My Word. Never forget that Jesus is My Word made flesh. In hearing Him you are hearing Me, I and My Word are One. In My Word is your answer to all the questions of life. In My Word alone you will find eternal life. I am the creator of all and give life to all by My Word. The Holy Spirit births My Word into being, brings it into manifestation. I send forth My Spirit and all creation and renewal takes place—life, breath, being, beauty, order in chaos, and light in darkness. My Spirit also teaches you all things, reminds you of all I have said, guides you to all truth, leads you, and testifies to Jesus and gives you words and wisdom to testify as well. My Son is My Word living and working, active among you and in you—saving, rescuing, redeeming, teaching, blessing, healing, empowering, enlightening, shepherding, and interceding.
Life has no meaning, no purpose, no vision, no parameters, no continuum, no beauty, no redemption without My Word. It is void, empty, dark, and chaotic. Without Me you have nothing to hold you or to hold on to, you have no anchor for your soul.
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters. Then God said, “Light be!”; and light was. God saw that the light was good; and God separated the light from the darkness. Genesis 1:1-4.
In a dark, chaotic, and empty place, I spoke and My Word changed everything into light, peace, order, beauty, fruitfulness, and made a home for My family created in My image and according to My likeness. A dark and empty place became a world and a universe filled with wonders of life and godliness, functioning in perfect order, synchronized to all work together as one, and all sustained and maintained by My Word holding it together and increasing it from glory to glory.
Jesus, My Word, came forth as My Son into the world, He is the radiance of My glory and the exact representation of My nature, and upholds all things by the Word of His power. Hebrews 1:3.
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. Colossians 1:15-17.
The prophets spoke My Word as revealed to them by inspiration of My Spirit but Jesus is My Word speaking directly to you. Hebrews 1:1-2.
When Adam rejected My Word all went back into darkness and confusion, then evil entered men’s hearts by way of lies against the truth. They would no longer receive My Word. They became hardened and dead to it.
But the wicked are like the tossing sea, for it cannot be quiet, and its waters toss up refuse and mud. “There is no peace,” says my God, “for the wicked.” Isaiah 57:20-21.
“The eye is the lamp of the body; so then if your eye is clear, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light that is in you is darkness, how great is the darkness! Matthew 6:23-24.
When man rejected My Word, what had been a place of righteousness, peace, and joy where My blessing made rich with no painful toil or heartache with it, where all was the flow of life in the spirit, became a place of toil, darkness, pain, and unrighteousness where peace and joy were fleeting and short lived for it was life in the flesh. A mind set on the flesh is death, but a mind set on the spirit is life and peace. Without My Word the Spirit and life are gone and all that is left is the outer coat of the flesh, and it had become perishable, for sin is committed in the flesh, not in the spirit, but it puts the spirit dormant, operating only in the five physical senses, which are amazing but not eternal without the living spirit that is connected to My Spirit.
What was the answer? The same as over the chaos and darkness in the beginning, a new creation by the reception of My Word. I sent My Word to heal you and deliver you from all your destructions, Psalm 107:20, to pull you out of the pit you had fallen into, to overcome darkness with light, to rescue you from the power of darkness and translate you into the Kingdom of My beloved Son (My Word among you), in whom you have redemption and the forgiveness of sins.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. 5 The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it. John 1:1-5.
In answer to your darkness I sent forth the Light of the world. Swiftly runs My Word. But remember My Word is seed. My Word must be received, you must let it plant in your heart and grow to eternal life.
But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. John 1:12-13.
Therefore, putting aside all filthiness and all that remains of wickedness, in humility receive the word implanted, which is able to save your souls. James 1:21.
What makes all the difference in whether death reigns or life reigns? My earth shaking, chain breaking, life changing Word. He came to set the captives free. Luke 4:18.
For if by the transgression of the one [Adam], death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ. Romans 5:17.
How can you keep your way pure? By keeping it according to My Word. Psalm 119:9. I keep you by My Word.
“Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; remove the evil of your deeds from My sight.” Isaiah 1:16.
How can you do that? The blood of the Lamb and the Word of your testimony. Revelation 12:11.
You are already clean because of the Word which I have spoken to you. John 15:3.
My Word made everything, sustains everything, and purifies everything. You are saved and you sins are paid for by the eternal blood of Jesus but that is not the end. You must then be born again by the imperishable and pure seed of My Word and renew your mind with My Word so that you will know the truth and it is the truth that sets you free. Jesus went about doing good and freeing all those oppressed by the devil. The church is made up of blood bought believers but Jesus washes His body the church with the pure water of the Word to make it holy and without blemish or wrinkle.
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her, so that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, that He might present to Himself the church in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she would be holy and blameless. Ephesians 5:25-27.
And the good news when hear, speak, do, hold fast to and keep My Word you are washing yourself as well. My Words are spirit and life. When you find My Words you find life and health for every part of you through and through.
“Take to your heart all the Words with which I am warning you today, which you shall command your sons to observe carefully, even all the Words of this law. For it is not an idle word for you; indeed it is your life. And by this Word you will prolong your days in the land, which you are about to cross the Jordan to possess.” Deuteronomy 32:46-47.
Without My Word in your life you will walk in darkness and your life will be void of meaning and filled with chaos. But the answer is simple, imitate Me as My dear children and just say the Word and the revelation of My Word gives light and understanding to the simple. Nothing is too hard for Me, nothing is too wonderful for Me, and nothing is impossible with Me and I am My Word. So what does that tell you about My Word? The same.
I have put My Words in your mouth and covered you with the shadow of My hand to establish days of Heaven upon the earth, what have you been doing with so great a treasure? Do not put it under a bushel basket or under the bed, put it on the golden lampstand and shine, shine, shine!
“Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD has risen upon you. For behold, darkness will cover the earth and deep darkness the peoples; but the LORD will rise upon you and His glory will appear upon you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.” Isaiah 60:1-3.
I love you. Never fall back into the darkness, it is time to go forward in the light.
But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; for you once were not a people, but now you are the people of God; you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy. 1 Peter 2:9-10.
But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, that shines brighter and brighter until the full day. The way of the wicked is like darkness; they do not know over what they stumble. Proverbs 4:18-19.
