Let the favor of the Lord (Adonai) our God be upon us; and give permanence for us to the work of our hands. Yes, give permanence to the work of our hands. Psalm 90:17.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

If it concerns you, it concerns Me. Whatever care you have, give it to Me and I will take care of it. Small or great, if it is causing you alarm or unease, I am here to get it right for you. I protect you from harm when you put your attention on Me. If you let Me in, I will take out the sin and fix your life into a place of grace. Seek My love and light and everything will be all right. Shalom is My plan for you, not evil, a future and a hope. Beautiful indeed is your inheritance.

I am the God who is, who was, and who is to come. Your times are in My hands. I can go back into your past and take an error you made, a sin you committed, harm you caused and fix it, replace it with a good result, and put it back to the same date and every trace of the mistake is gone. But you should not be working so as to have to have everything you do swapped out and corrected. Pray that I give permanence to the work of your hands.

You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you. John 15:16.

After My people whom I had so wonderfully redeemed from the slavery of Egypt and led across the wilderness by the cloud of My glory refused to enter the land I had promised to give them because of the spirit of fear they allowed to come upon the camp, they wandered in the wilderness for forty years, just hovering around the border of their destiny but never entering to take it. They had rashly uttered words that were stout against Mine and unjustly accused Me of malicious intent in bringing them out of Egypt to the abundant land I promised to give them. But the problem was they uttered these words as the expression of their heart. Once your heart is engaged and fixed in the rebellious words you say, I cannot do My plan for your life but must allow you to go your own way.

For the mouth speaks out of that which fills the heart. The good man brings out of his good treasure what is good; and the evil man brings out of his evil treasure what is evil. But I tell you that every careless word that people speak, they shall give an accounting for it in the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.” Matthew 12:34-37.

And after that day, their idle, empty lives had no meaning, purpose, plan or power, so all they did was complain in frustration, for in each of you, since I conceived you all in My heart on the sixth day of creation, are My first words of blessing to be fruitful.

God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. God blessed them; and God said to them, “Be very fruitful and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” Genesis 1:27-28.

And I have put eternity in each person’s heart, so there is a call there to be significant and to be blessed to be a blessing, to live a fruitful, meaningful life.

Go forth from your country, and from your relatives and from your father’s house, to the land which I will show you; and I will make you a great nation, and I will bless you, and make your name great; and so you shall be a blessing; and I will bless those who bless you, and the one who curses you I will curse. And in you all the families of the earth will be blessed.” Genesis 12:1-3.

And that is why Abraham followed Me, he wanted his life to have an impact and I was offering for him to bless every family on earth.

I know that, for I have put that in your heart and it coincides with the life of good deeds I prepared for you in advance that you might enjoy it.

For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them. Ephesians 2:8-10.

So those that Moses had led out of Egypt wandered in the wilderness knowing that there was no where they had left themselves to go or any goal to their lives. They really did not want to go back to the affliction and toil of a slave in Egypt but they could not go forward because they had kept themselves out of the beautiful inheritance of the promised land by their own refusal to go there. They had left themselves with no goal and no hope. All they had was resentment and covetousness and a wandering life with no destination. And it is sad but many people, even those who believe, are living this kind of meaningless life because through fear or laziness they have shut all doors to themselves and are just bogged down in the daily squabbles with those around them and themselves.

But it does not have to be that way. If you attach to Me by remaining in My Word and My Word remaining in you, you will bear MUCH fruit, and it will be fruit that endures.

So Moses wrote a song, as you know he does for you have his song after the victory at the Red Sea and his departing song to the Israelites, and you know that in Heaven they are singing the song of Moses (the song of the redeemed unto Me) and the song of the Lamb (the song of the redeemer over you). And Moses wrote Psalm 90 as an appeal to Me to somehow turn the sentence of death upon all who spoke their desire to die in the desert rather than to enter the beautiful land flowing with milk and honey I had promised them.

Do return, O Lord (Adonai); how long will it be? And be sorry for Your servants. O satisfy us in the morning with Your lovingkindness, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days. Psalm 90:13-15.

Discern that your time on earth is short and it is important to make the most of every opportunity to be fruitful for the Kingdom for your eternity is based upon it.

So teach us to number our days, that we may present to You a heart of wisdom. Psalm 90:12.

And it was an appeal to give some kind of permanence to the work of their hands, to establish something good in their lives that would remain even after their death and not just an example of the futile life of those who have no purpose, plan, power or pursuit—those who have forsaken Me and the fruitful, eternal life I had planned for them since the creation of the world. The wicked cut their lives short and remember My Son, in the parable of the talents, called the one who just buried his talent and did nothing fruitful with it a “wicked, lazy servant.” Matthew 25:26.

And Moses was seeking a reversal and a return but their hearts were too hard against Me and rebellion was engrained in their being. They had become controlled by the spirit of disobedience and covetousness.

Do not let it be like that with you. Seek that which is above where Jesus is seated at My right hand. When the Israelites asked Jesus what they had to do to do My Works, He answered simply yet profoundly.

Therefore they said to Him, “What shall we do, so that we may work the works of God?” Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent.” John 6:28-29.

I so loved the world I made and each one of you that I planned and created that I gave you My only begotten Son to pay your judgment and satisfy your sentence so that all who BELIEVE in Him shall not perish but have ETERNAL LIFE. John 3:16. Believing in Jesus, whom I sent to save you and free you from all your sins is the most fruitful work that you can do, for that fruit will endure forever. And it follows from that that leading others to Him to be saved is fruitful as well. You are wise to win souls.

Jesus is My Word and when you believe in Him, who is My Word, you are fruitful. The Israelites in the desert had no faith in My Word and so were unfrutiful.

And I tell you to desire the spiritual gifts but above all to pursue love. Anything done, no matter how great it looks in the eyes of the world, without love means nothing in fruitfulness for the Kingdom. Why? Because I am love and you can do nothing without Me. So anything done without love is done without Me.

Some people talk about submitting to Me, some about surrendering to Me, but what is really the best is when you are pursuing Me. If you are pursuing Me with all your heart, your affections are set on Me and, like the bride in the Song of Songs, you are going in search of Me until you can take hold of Me and then you will not let go. Submitting or surrendering have nothing to do with pursuing. When you pursue Me you already want to be everything I made you to be, all you want is more of Me.

Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the Lord your God.” Deuteronomy 28:1-2.

I love you. Do not worry that your life will not be fruitful. I have given you the great good Shepherd to lead and guide you in paths of righteousness. And He is doing that even as we speak.
