Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort. 2 Corinthians 1:3.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

I am the God of all comfort. Until you know this you will continually berate yourself when you do not meet the standard you have set for yourself. To berate yourself means to angrily and lengthily criticize your own actions or character, essentially it is scolding and upbraiding yourself with no mercy. When you know Me as the God of all comfort, you will find rest in Me so you can flow and grow with My visitation each day.

Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God our Father, who has loved us and given us eternal comfort and good hope by grace, comfort and strengthen your hearts in every good work and word. 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17.

Many of you berate yourselves about rituals you have made for yourself in prayer and spending time with Me, and here I am not talking to the worldly but to those who have given their lives into My hands and are endeavoring to please Me but are giving themselves no rest to enjoy how I lead you. There are times you will not meet all your standards but you have pleased Me. Say for example, you went to bed late due to time you spent with Me combined with getting all your daily work done for your job or school assignments, and you have set your alarm to rise early to pray before the busyness of your day, but then you reach out your arm in the bed and turn off your alarm and sleep and suddenly awaken and it is time to rush into your day and you feel you have failed Me and have ruined the day so you berate yourself before Me. But I know how I made you, I know what you need. You do need sleep and you do need nourishment. Follow My lead in the time you give to Me, which can be every moment of your day and night while you go about what needs to be done. You have not lost time when you are continually with Me. I give to My beloved in their sleep. Do not get too set in your own ways, flow with My grace and know when I am visiting you.

Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; unless the LORD guards the city, the watchman keeps awake in vain. It is vain for you to rise up early, to retire late, to eat the bread of painful labors; for He gives to His beloved even in his sleep. Psalm 127:1-2.

I have a Word for you that will revive you in every situation and season of your life. Build your life, your days, your nights, your seasons with Me. I am full of joyful surprises and “suddenlies,” be willing to run with Me upon the heights, to soar with Me on the wings of the wind of the Spirit. Do not bind yourself from flowing with Me when I so direct.

I am the God of all comfort. I know how to speak a Word to the weary that will rouse them. When I speak it is always prophecy. What I say edifies (builds you up to higher realms), exhorts (with comfort as we weed out whatever in you is not of Me), encourages (with new hope), energizes (with new fire and enthusiasm), revives (rouses and awakens you to your purpose and place), and brings light and understanding. My words to you reveal that which is hidden to the worldly who walk over treasure unaware in their own busyness that has overwhelmed them and taken their focus off Me. But these treasures are there and open to the view of those whose hearts are turned towards Me. Sensitive living hearts that are soft and tender are open to the Word I send and let it plant to grow in consolation of My visitation.

I visit you when you are seeking Me. Remember Zaccheus in the tree on the road where Jesus was walking through Jericho? He just wanted to see Jesus, it was such a longing and desire of his heart that even though it was difficult for a man that sat many hours a day at his tax collector’s post, he climbed a sycamore tree and held on tight waiting for Jesus to pass by. His longing was so intense he did not care who saw him doing such an outlandish thing for a man of his age and reputation. He was a chief tax collector, he was wealthy, and he was considered an ungodly sinner. I am found by those who seek Me with their heart. He just wanted to see My Word alive and working.

When Jesus came to the place, He looked up and said to him, “Zaccheus, hurry and come down, for today I must stay at your house.” And he hurried and came down and received Him rejoicing. Luke 19:5-6.

Do you hurry to spend time with Me with rejoicing? Or have you turned it into a toilsome ritual? Zaccheus followed My lead and opened his heart to Jesus as he sat and listened, and listened and listened to My Word that day for it had become alive to Him in Jesus, My Word with you as one of you. And he did answer as well with new resolutions that he then carried out. He became a man of integrity filled with joy.

Zaccheus stopped and said to the Lord, “Behold, Lord, half of my possessions I am giving to the poor, and if I have defrauded anyone of anything, I am giving back four times as much.” And Jesus said to him, “Today salvation (Yeshuah) has come to this house, because he, too, is a son of Abraham (righteousness by faith). For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.” Luke 19:8-10.

And consider the woman with the issue of blood for twelve years that no doctor had been able to cure. She just wanted to touch Jesus and she was willing to drag her weak body through the streets to touch Him. And that one touch healed her and made her whole forever. It was her salvation. She reached out and touched My Word.

And think of the centurion with the sick servant that was dying. He came a distance to Jesus for one purpose: to hear Him speak the Word of command for healing. He came to hear and send that Word to his servant. And His servant was healed that instant because he came for the Word of command. Swiftly runs My Word for those of faith.

Consider, too, the Syrophoenician woman, she came for help with a loved one. She just wanted help. And she found it by faith in My Word made flesh.

Consider too the leper who came for healing by My Word. “If you will to do so, you can cure me.” He knew My Will was in My Word and Jesus left no doubts that My Word is for healing. I am My Word and I am the LORD who heals you. I sent My Word to heal you, deliver you from all destruction, and to comfort you in your affliction with the answer.

Here you see Me as the God of all comfort and it came to those who sought to see Me, touch Me, hear Me, receive help, and be healed. They were all looking for the Word that was the right one for them at that moment of need. And I always had it and I will always have it for you.

There was a woman, however, that was not looking for Jesus, she did not even know who He was when He came seeking her at My direction, but I knew her troubled heart and she was searching for comfort and meaning in her life that seemed to her a failed and wasted life after five marriages and then living with a man who she was not married to. But her hope was on the Messiah coming that would tell her everything. So He came to her and revealed to her that the Messiah had come to her. And what was her response? She was so encouraged, comforted, confirmed and edified that she wanted to share the good news that the Messiah had come to her that ran to tell everyone about Him. She brought the whole town to find purpose, meaning, and comfort in His visitation. And He stayed with them two days.

So the woman left her waterpot, and went into the city and said to the men, “Come, see a man who told me all the things that I have done; this is not the Christ, is it?” They went out of the city, and were coming to Him. John 4:28-30.

In all these visitations it was in My Word they saw Me, touched, and heard Me. And it was in hearing My Word that they received help, healing, and found meaning in life and their particular time. They all received the comfort and the answer to their need in My Word.

How sweet are Your Words to my taste! Yes, sweeter than honey to my mouth! Psalm 119:103.

They are more desirable than gold, yes, than much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and the drippings of the honeycomb. Moreover, by them Your servant is warned; in keeping them there is great reward. Psalm 19:10-11.

In times of trouble, do not turn away from Me as you upbraid yourself, be open to My Word for it revives you right at the moment you need it.

Remember the Word to Your servant, in which You have made me hope. This is my comfort in my affliction, that Your Word has revived me. Psalm 119:49-50.

And that is what the communion meal with Me does as well. Receive the body and blood of My Son. Take it corporately but receive it individually. The Bread of Life comes to comfort you and nourish you on your pilgrimage journey of life to keep you One with Me.

Prayer is a time to flow with My flow and go where I go. Do not be so set on a routine that it becomes a ritual with no true fellowship. See every time you pray as I do, it is a visitation that imparts the Word you need at the moment to understand and go forward with joy and peace. Prayer strengthens you in purpose, plan, and power. It fills the need of every moment and hour. In prayer confusion subsides and peace increases, for joy comes with revelation light. And soon prayer for you and Me will be a delight.

Prayer raises you out of the dust of the world, out of the ash heap of your life, to seat you on the throne with Me in Christ, your Messiah and Lord, whom I sent to comfort those who mourn, heal the broken hearted, set free the oppressed, give release to prisoners, and open up the gate and windows of Heaven to pour out blessings that are too much for you alone to contain but must be shared with others.

My soul cleaves to the dust; revive me according to Your Word. I have told of my ways, and You have answered me; teach me Your statutes. Make me understand the way of Your precepts, so I will meditate on Your wonders. My soul weeps because of grief; strengthen me according to Your Word. Remove the false way from me, and graciously grant me Your law. I have chosen the faithful way;I have placed Your ordinances before me. I cling to Your testimonies; O LORD, do not put me to shame!  I shall run the way of Your commandments, for You will enlarge my heart.

Like the woman of Samaria, she could not hold it in but flooded the whole town with comfort from on High.

From that city many of the Samaritans believed in Him because of the word of the woman who testified, “He told me all the things that I have done.” So when the Samaritans came to Jesus, they were asking Him to stay with them; and He stayed there two days. Many more believed because of His word; and they were saying to the woman, “It is no longer because of what you said that we believe, for we have heard for ourselves and know that this One is indeed the Savior of the world.” John 4:39-42.

Prayer enlarges your heart. Everyone who opened their hearts to the visitation of My Word became a different person—encouraged, comforted, healed, blessed, enriched, and made bold to speak out and show the love and comfort they had received in Me by My Word.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4.

I love you. Let Me comfort you in all your afflictions, I always have the Word you need if you just listen.

You are my hiding place and my shield; I wait for Your word. Psalm 119:114.

I anticipate the dawn and cry for help; I wait for Your words. Psalm 119:147.

The Lord LORD has given Me the tongue of disciples, that I may know how to sustain the weary one with a word. He awakens Me morning by morning, He awakens My ear to listen as a disciple. The Lord LORD has opened My ear; and I was not disobedient nor did I turn back. Isaiah 50:4-5.
