Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen. Ephesians 3:20-21.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
Jesus told you who believe that you would do the works He did and greater. He healed the sick, raised the dead, cleansed lepers, gave sight to the blind, set captives free, healed the broken hearted, and preached the good news. He did not say that maybe you would do these, or that certain ones of the believers would do this, no, He said those who believe in Him would do them. No doubt, no if’s, no but’s. And He told you how you would do them: you ask in His Name, you obey His commandments out of love for Him, and you receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. John 14:12-17.
I will show you why many of you are not doing them but can if you take to heart what I tell you today.
First, may I ask you, when Jesus worked a miracle, and all His miracles were born of compassion and love, did He call for an all night vigil to “storm” Heaven? Did He go into long and lengthy prayers about whether I was going to grant it or not? Did He get excited, yell, and argue with the devil? Did He yell at “mountains,” storms, or other things that got in the way of My affairs?
You know the answer. It is “No.” Why? He knew Me and had confidence I would always come through. No need for the histrionics or the drama. Just matter of fact. No doubt, no fear, just peace in Me that I was taking care of it just as He had spoken. For first He got My Word on it in prayer and a quick survey in His spirit, and then He knew what to say and He knew that if you pray anything according to My Will, I hear you and it is granted. 1 John 5:14-15.
Then Jesus raised His eyes, and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. I knew that You always hear Me; but because of the people standing around I said it, so that they may believe that You sent Me.” John 11:41-42.
And then He calmly ordered Lazarus to come out of the grave. And he obeyed.
But you recall Jesus had the Word from Me, when they first brought him that news that Lazarus was very sick, He simply answered that this sickness would not END in death. John 11:4. And it did not, just as I had spoken.
When I have spoken, that is your answer. And you have a whole book filled with My Words to you. By the stripes of Jesus you were healed, I am the LORD who looks ahead and provides, I am present as your helper, and I send My Word to heal you and deliver you from all destruction.
But, you may be saying that is all very well but HOW do you have miracles of love and compassion follow your words when you speak Mine.
I have told you many times. It is called confidence. Not doubt, not drama, not trying to move Me, but just knowing that I watch over My Word to perform it if you will just return it to Me from your heart and mouth.
For thus says the Lord (Adonai (Jesus)) LORD (Yahavah), the Holy One of Israel: “In returning and rest you shall be saved. In quietness and confidence shall be your strength.” But you would not. Isaiah 30:15.
I am not indifferent to your needs, I already answered them in Jesus. I moved in Christ and gave you everything in Him that I have. You who are in Christ are Mine and you are with Me always and everything I have is yours. In Him, I have seated you with Me in Heaven even now in the Spirit and blessed you with every spiritual blessing in Heaven.
Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession (homologia, perfect agreement with My Word). For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. Therefore let us draw near with CONFIDENCE to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:14-16.
Confidence is calm and satisfied. Why? It knows who it is calling upon. Paul wrote that he had learned to be content in every circumstance. Why? He could do all things in Christ who strengthened him. He learned he could move a mountain, open prison gates, shake off chains, throw off poisonous snakes, come out of shipwrecks unharmed, be thought dead from a vicious stoning to rise up alive and go to preach in another town. He knew Me in whom he had believed and that I was willing and able to deliver him.
Now, let Me ask you, when have you had the greatest miracles in your life? I will tell you, if you do not already know, it is when you made no big deal out of the situation but just knew that I would heal you or work out whatever had come against you to your victory and with confidence stated in prayer and received what you needed, like David with Goliath, he ran right up to the “mountain” and shot it down with total confidence that I would fight that battle for him if he just went out with Me to face it.
Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, a spear, and a javelin, but I come to you in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have taunted. This day the LORD will deliver you up into my hands, and I will strike you down and remove your head from you. And I will give the dead bodies of the army of the Philistines this day to the birds of the sky and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel, and that all this assembly may know that the LORD does not deliver by sword or by spear; for the battle is the LORD’s and He will give you into our hands.” 1 Samuel 17:45-47.
And Jesus told you how to speak to every obstacle and stronghold the devil raises up before you. Yes, with faith and confidence, no doubt or fear. I am the Most High, you know, you have nothing to fear. When I am for you, who can be against you and prevail? No one and nothing. Remember and act like that. Just make the need you want taken care of known to Me and that is it.
And Jesus answered saying to them, “Have faith in God. Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted him. Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you. Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father who is in heaven will also forgive you your transgressions. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father who is in heaven forgive your transgressions.” Mark 11:22-26.
Just know that begging and pleading, storming Heaven, and acting like you must force Me to do something good shows NO trust, NO confidence, and NO knowledge of Me. When you pray like that you are actually resisting Me and make it impossible for Me to heal you or provide for you. You block everything I try to give you by your unbelief as you just keep begging for what I have already freely given you in Christ. Just come with confidence and receive it. The harder you beg and believe you do not have it the more impossible you make it for Me to give it to you. Unless you believe you have it, you cannot receive it.
Jesus had no doubts in My goodness and love. He knew Me and in seeing Him you see Me. You should fear nothing.
They went to Capernaum, and when the Sabbath came, Jesus went into the synagogue and began to teach. The people were amazed at his teaching, because he taught them as one who had authority, not as the teachers of the law. Just then a man in their synagogue who was possessed by an impure spirit cried out, “What do you want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are—the Holy One of God!” “Be quiet!” Jesus rebuked him. “Come out of him!” The impure spirit shook the man violently and came out of him with a shriek. The people were all so amazed that they asked each other, “What is this? A new teaching—and with authority! He even gives orders to impure spirits and they obey him.” News about him spread quickly over the whole region of Galilee. Mark 1:21-28.
Jesus rebuked the evil spirits, storms, and any other harmful thing that raised up its head. It is My authoritative word that restrains evil, restores order, and refines character. Whether issued by Me, Jesus, by His apostles, or by you who believe, rebuking evil remains an essential instrument for advancing holiness, preserving truth, and displaying the supremacy of Christ in every sphere.
And the same vocabulary used against personal evil is aimed at impersonal forces, revealing that the chaos threatening the disciples was as subject to His voice as the demons had been. What did Jesus say to the storm on the lake that was so violently attacking the boat? He was quite calm about it while the disciples were so agitated they were crying out they were about to perish. He simply stood up and used His faith in the words He said, “Silence! Be still!”
“Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and it became perfectly calm.” Matthew 8:26.
When Jesus rebuked (commanded) unclean spirits, storms, or anything else Satan raised up before Him, His command was brief, personal, and effectual, underscoring that no negotiation is required when divine authority is exercised. Know that when you proclaim truth evil is expelled; and the one you free is restored to wholeness.
I love you. When you are walking with Me in love you have nothing to fear. You know what I am going to do always. I watch over My Word to perform it, even in your mouth. But it goes beyond that. It is that confidence in My goodness and that anything that is coming against you I will thwart and make all things work together for good for you. You do not fear pain, illness, lack, or the grave, for you know in Jesus I have already taken care of all that and that you can always have healing, health, provision, prosperity and eternal life just for the asking and the casting of your care on Me. It is all there for you, just repent, return, and I restore, like the father did for the prodigal son. My arm is not too short to save and My ears are never deaf to you. I watch over you night and day. I never sleep or slumber, know I am there for you always.
“In righteousness you will be established; you will be far from oppression, for you will not fear; and from terror, for it will not come near you. If anyone fiercely assails you it will not be from Me. Whoever assails you will fall because of you. Isaiah 54:14-15.
