But He answered them, “My Father is working until now, and I Myself am working.” John 5:17.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

Jesus told you that I am always working and so is He. Did you ever wonder what I am working at? I will tell you, look at Jesus and you will know because in seeing Jesus you are seeing Me. He is My Word in action among you. What is the work that He did? He told you that He only said the Words that I spoke in Him and only did the works I showed Him, so in looking at Him you will see the work I do among you.

You know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. Acts 10:38.

The religious leaders and teachers of Jesus’ day were very critical of the works Jesus did. They wanted to stop them, and one of the main reasons they used was that He did miracles of healing on the Sabbath day (Shabbat). Now I was the one that instituted the Shabbat as a sign of My sanctification of the Israelites by their resting in Me. Shabbat was a sign that I am the one who sanctifies and makes holy, since Adam’s fall you cannot do this on your own efforts and work apart from Me. And healing or any other good work of compassion that undoes what the devil has done in someone’s life is sanctified work. The work that Jesus did always made people glorify Me in joy at the good that had been done and the evil that had been eradicated. And that is a very good test to see if I am in the work that is being done, if it manifests My glory, that is, if it reveals the exercise of My almighty power in love to produce good and eradicate evil. Healings, provision, forgiveness, acts of mercy, the raising up of My Kingdom on earth, and conquering evil with good all are sanctifying works.

Another indication of the work I am doing is the context in which Jesus told the religious leaders that I am working every moment and that is why He was working even on Shabbat. Jesus had entered the five porticoes at the pool of Bethesda and though there were a multitude of people who were sick, blind, lame, and withered He went directly to one man who had been disabled for thirty-eight years and healed him by telling him to get up, pick his mat and walk. The man followed directions and he immediately became well. Jesus had released My healing power and this man received the flow by faith.

Now it was the Sabbath on that day. So the Jews spotted this man immediately, for as soon as he was healed he went to the temple which was just a short walk from the pool of Bethesda, and being very meticulous in finding fault in others, they were saying to the man who was cured, “It is the Sabbath, and it is not permissible for you to carry your pallet.” But he had an answer, “He who made me well was the one who said to me, ‘Pick up your pallet and walk.’” And it had worked, so he was standing on that. But they were not done, they knew who the healer was and they wanted to accuse him of breaking the law of the Shabbat rest. So, they asked the healed man, “Who is the man who said to you, ‘Pick up your pallet and walk’?” But the man who was healed did not know who it was, for Jesus had slipped away while there was a crowd in that place. Jesus never sought recognition for the works He did, He gave all glory to Me. But when Jesus heals you He will keep watch over you because Satan will always regroup with seven unclean spirits and try to take back his stronghold in you and steal your healing and good health. Be immovable about it and tell him, “Oh no you don’t! By His stripes I was healed and I am staying that way. Begone Satan! I cast you out in Jesus’ Name.” And then cast all that care on Me and thank Me for your healing and good health.

Later Jesus found the healed man in the temple and said to him, “Behold, you have become well; do not sin anymore, so that nothing worse happens to you.” He was warning him not to get back in the devil’s territory because then the can take territory in you again for you have opened the door to him by sin, which is obeying his word and thus making him you master, as Adam did. So what did the healed man do? He went and told the Jews that it was Jesus who had made him well. And he thereby fueled the fire the Jews has already lit by evidence that Jesus broke the Shabbat rest. For this reason the Jews were persecuting Jesus, because He was doing these things on the Sabbath. But what did Jesus answer them? He answered, “My Father is working until now, and I Myself am working.” John 5:9-17.

So you see, it was in the healing of a man sick and disabled for 38 years that Jesus said I was working. So you see one thing I am about is healing. And that is one of My Covenant Name promises: Yahavah Ropheka, the LORD your healer. So there is a good way to see what I am working, I am the LORD your shepherd, I am the LORD your righteousness, I am the LORD your deliverer, your refuge, your fortress, your stronghold, your peace, the LORD who looks ahead and provides, your helper, your redeemer, your savior, and I could go on.

Above all I am the LORD your maker. And I am always doing something new with you. New parts, new hearts, youth renewal, a new creation, and whatever else is needed, I am there for you.

But now, O LORD, You are our Father, we are the clay, and You our potter; and all of us are the work of Your hand. Isaiah 64:8.

Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be opened unto you. It is all by words, My Words. If  you stand by silent I cannot act in your life for it is up to you to draw close and invite Me in. You have the dominion authority and I cannot enter unless you allow Me to do so.

Jesus also preached and taught, multiplied provisions, raised the dead, and forgave sins.

So what does it mean to you? You are in My image and according to My likeness, you, like Jesus said He did, you should be working too.

Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children; and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma. Ephesians 5:1-2.

After Jesus had multiplied the five loaves and two fish into enough to feed well over 5,000 people until all were satisfied with twelve full baskets of fragments left over, the crowd wanted to know how they could work the works of God. And Jesus had the answer:

Therefore they said to Him, “What shall we do, so that we may work the works of God?” Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent.” John 6:28-29.

What happens when you believe in Jesus whom I have sent? You get sent too. Jesus told you:

Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father. Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it. If you love Me, you will keep My commandments. I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever; that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you. John 14:12-17.

Here we go again in full cycle, you are to be doing the works He did, which are My works, and even greater ones than He did (you can get people born again now that the cross is taken care of and your judgment is paid, your sins gone on Him, and your sentence satisfied.

He went about doing good and healing all those oppressed of the devil. I sent Him to seek out and save the lost. I sent Him to undo the works of the devil. I sent Him to reconcile you to Me. I sent Him to redeem you. But above all I gave you My only begotten Son so that all who believe in Him will not perish but have eternal life. He came to save you so I could give you a new heart and pour My Spirit in you and fill you up with all the fullness of God bodily and give you the eternal life I promised from before the foundation of the world. I have prepared and Kingdom for you and have given you full access to its provisions already and seated you there in the spirit with Jesus on the throne of the Son of Man at My right hand.

And you are to go as My ambassador of My Kingdom to reconcile all to Me and to give them the new birth unto eternal life by showing them Jesus. Speak My Words whether popular or unpopular and reach out your hands and let My power in you heal the sick, raise the dead, and provide for those in need. And in Jesus’ Name cast out demons and take down strongholds. Join with other believers as My royal priesthood and build a tabernacle of praise and prayer that will be the beacon light to all.

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them. Ephesians 2:10.

Remember, faith without works is dead. I am the Living God and I operate by faith so you see I am always working every moment. Redeem the time and join with Me so we can work together.

But now take courage, Zerubbabel,’ declares the LORD, ‘take courage also, Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and all you people of the land take courage,’ declares the LORD, ‘and work; for I am with you,’ declares the LORD of hosts. Haggai 2:4.

And what was their work? Yes, to rebuild the fallen temple with the latter glory greater than the first. Go and do the same. Everyone who is not saved is a fallen temple. For all of you who are born again are temples of the Holy Spirit. And that is very important to know. For it is not by your power or might that you do My works but by the power of the Holy Spirit in you and on you. Remember Jesus told the disciples to wait in Jerusalem to be clothed with power from on High before they went out to work in the world. Same for you, but now you do not have to wait, Jesus is seated with Me and so are you. Get filled up with the Holy Spirit and you can redeem the time. Let Me finish My Words to Zerubbabel here:

But now take courage, Zerubbabel,’ declares the LORD, ‘take courage also, Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and all you people of the land take courage,’ declares the LORD, ‘and work; for I am with you,’ declares the LORD of hosts. ‘As for the promise which I made you when you came out of Egypt, My Spirit is abiding in your midst; do not fear!’ For thus says the Lord of hosts, ‘Once more in a little while, I am going to shake the heavens and the earth, the sea also and the dry land. I will shake all the nations; and they will come with the wealth of all nations, and I will fill this house with glory,’ says the LORD of hosts. ‘The silver is Mine and the gold is Mine,’ declares the LORD of hosts. ‘The latter glory of this house will be greater than the former,’ says the LORD of hosts, ‘and in this place I will give peace,’ declares the LORD of hosts.” Haggai 2:4-9.

And there is more from the prophet Zechariah:

“This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel saying, ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the LORD of hosts. ‘What are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you will become a plain; and he will bring forth the top stone with shouts of “Grace, grace to it!”’” Zechariah 4:6-7.

I love you. Remember Jesus was anointed with the Holy Spirit and power and so are you. It is time to join with Me and get to work.
