How happy is everyone who fears the LORD, who walks in His ways. When you shall eat of the work of your hands, you will be happy and it will be well with you. Psalm 128:1-2.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

People want to be happy. Troubled and tormented minds block joy and blessings from entering your life. People are frustrated with their lives. Why? I blessed you to be fruitful, very fruitful, from the beginning. But keep that thought a moment.

I tell you that in My presence is fullness of joy. I am joyful and I am strong. I have joy, pure uninterrupted joy.

“Now after a long time the master of those slaves came and settled accounts with them. The one who had received the five talents came up and brought five more talents, saying, ‘Master, you entrusted five talents to me. See, I have gained five more talents.’ His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful slave. You were faithful with a few things, I will put you in charge of many things; enter into the joy of your master.’ Matthew 19-21.

What was the joy over? A fruitful life, the work of your hands.

What is My source of unending, constant joy? The goodness of the work of My hands.

Let the glory of the LORD endure forever; let the LORD be glad in His works. Psalm 104:31.

In the beginning when I created the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in it, each day until completion I stepped back and studied it and delighted in how good it was. And on the sixth day I beheld all I had made and I found it very good. I rejoice in My earth and delight in being with you, the sons and daughters of men. My joy is dwelling among you as one with you in purpose, plan, reward, and the power I work within you to carry out your assignment.

But now, O LORD, You are our Father, we are the clay, and You our potter; and all of us are the work of Your hand. Isaiah 64:8.

And to you I have given dominion over the works of My hands. I made you like Me, to be creative. And I have given you everything you need in the earth and in Christ Jesus to do that. I know what you need before you ask so I have prepared a life of good deeds for you in advance in Christ Jesus that is a creative, blessed, fruitful, productive, and eternal life. You are My masterpiece.

When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have ordained; what is man that You take thought of him, and the son of man that You care for him? Yet You have made him a little lower than God, and You crown him with glory and majesty! You make him to rule over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet, All sheep and oxen, and also the beasts of the field, the birds of the heavens and the fish of the sea, whatever passes through the paths of the seas. 9 O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is Your name in all the earth! Psalm 8:3=9.

My joy comes from the works of My hands and so does yours. You have joy in the works your life is producing.

How happy is everyone who fears the LORD, who walks in His ways. When you shall eat of the work of your hands, you will be happy and it will be well with you. Psalm 128:1-2.

Everyone desires a fulfilling productive life. That is why people are unhappy working in jobs where they do not feel creative or fruitful. That is why you are so frustrated on a day you work all day but nothing good is accomplished. No product is produced, no project solved, no plans or pleadings drawn up, no songs written, and no one witnessed to or saved then you feel that your life is being wasted and there is no joy in a wasted life.

Moses felt the frustration that the people would not go into the Promised Land when he had so miraculously led them there out of the slavery of Egypt, which was not creative or fruitful, causing anguish and unrest among the enslaved, but they never changed their attitude to enjoy the freedom of My children. They were frustrated and frustrating. But they would not go forward to be creative and take dominion, which is actually what they were longing to be. Moses prayed that even wandering fruitlessly in the desert I would prosper and give permanence to the work of their hands.

Let Your work appear to Your servants and Your majesty to their children.  Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us; and give permanence to the work of our hands. Yes, give permanence to the work of our hands. Psalm 90:16-17.

They still had the longing in them to take dominion and be fruitful though their quenched it and stifled it by fear. You will note, however, that all the people I redeemed out of Egypt were very excited about the project of building the tabernacle and kept donating to it and helping out with it the work by spinning cloth, giving jewels and helping with the construction and the erection of it.

There is the calling in each of you to take dominion over the works of My hands and create with it, work with it. Why do you think people go to conferences, take lessons, such as to play musical instruments, dance ballet or other forms of dance, to paint or do crafts? Why do people learn to crochet and make their own sweaters and blankets when they could buy them in the store? Why do people go out and take photos of My creation? Why do people make movies, videos, and theatrical productions? And why do people go to see them? Why to people sit for hours painting scenes of what I have made and portraits of people? Why do you have art museums and other kinds of museums? Why do people write poems? Why do they write stories and treatises? Why do they do research and invent things? Why do they try to fly and finally figure out the laws I have put in the earth that make an airplane take off and fly? Why do they invent faster and faster cars, build bridges and highways, trains, busses, arrange flowers and even make artificial ones that look real? Why do people decorate their homes? Why do farmers plant seeds and grow crops? Why do people get busy creating new machines and various methods to increase the yield and make the work easier on a large scale?

I think you know the answer because you see it in yourself. You always want to be creating, learning new things, and keeping yourself busy producing and improving.

And that goes back to the way I planned you and the blessing I gave you.

Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. God blessed them; and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” Genesis 1:26-28.

Until you take control over your life and are producing fruitful works of your hands you cannot know unshakeable joy. Without fruit you have no root in anything.

The surviving remnant of the house of Judah will again take root downward and bear fruit upward. Isaiah 37:31.

That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God. Ephesians 3:16-19.

You are in My image and I have joy in the works of My hands. If you want a truly satisfied life you must be able to look back at a fruitful life lived in Me.

If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples. Just as the Father has loved Me, I have also loved you; abide in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love; just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. These things I have spoken to you so that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full. John 15:7-11.

He told you how to be fruitful by abiding in My Word and He told you that was His joy that He was sharing with you so you could do the same and be full of joy too. You are only complete in the finished work of Christ. And He has given the baton to you to do the works He did and greater. And that is fruitful. Attach and bear much fruit and so prove to be not only My disciples but My beloved children around My table.

How blessed is everyone who fears the LORD, who walks in His ways. When you shall eat of the work of your hands, you will be happy and it will good with you. Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine within your house, your children like olive plants around your table. Behold, for thus shall the man be blessed who fears the LORD. Psalm 128:1-4.

On another level I am speaking here of Christ and the church producing My children round My communion table in My house.

I love you. The Name of Jesus is the answer to all that would keep you from joy. His Name takes down all the forces of the enemy. Salvation is in no other name.
