And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to the purpose. Romans 8:28.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
I am your creator and I have made each and every one of you unique for a purpose, plan, and reward and I give you the power to fulfill it as specifically tailored to you in the time you have on this earth and then for eternity. There are assignments for both time and eternity but the purpose is always the same. There is a basic plan for all lives for earth as well and a basic plan for eternity but for each one of you when, how, and where it is carried out is totally unique although you are joined together with others, now known as the body of Christ, always known as My everlasting Covenant, which is not static but grows as prophecies are fulfilled and mysteries are revealed, always increasing in grace and favor as My magnificent promises manifest, making you partakers of My divine nature in your humanity to achieve your unique assignments.
In our last life lesson, I spoke to you about your purpose, which is the same as Mine in being love and in your calling to be one with Me in fellowship.
God is faithful, through whom you were called into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. 1 Corinthians 1:9.
I told you that your purpose is one and the same but it is threefold and yesterday I discussed the first two parts of your threefold purpose. Today we will continue on with that, but first let Me review with you some things old and some things new.
Time is given for the completion of purpose and the plans I have for you on this earth. Whenever time is used by you as an individual or by a nation collectively for things that do not work toward the given purpose of love and unity in fellowship with Me and one another in fruitful activity that blesses you and the whole world (that is the third part we will discuss today, i.e., fruitful lives), it is wasted (i.e., acts done without the motive of love mean nothing) and the opportunity to reach perfection is delayed or lost. Remember that when My Son told you that you must be perfect as I am perfect that it was in the context of about how I let My sun shine on the good and the bad and My rain fall on the just and the unjust.
“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? If you greet only your brothers, what more are you doing than others? Do not even the Gentiles do the same? Therefore you are to be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect. Matthew 5:43-48.
I am good to all and do not withhold My general blessings and provision even from sinners. My goodness attracts you to repentance and return.
Jesus came to reconnect you with your purpose. His goal was not Calvery alone, but resurrection so He could redirect your living from time to eternity by raising you up with Him to the glory of the throne of the Son of Man, which He won back for you since Adam had abdicated it to the devil.
As I discussed somewhat in Part 1 of the lesson, time is an interruption in eternity that allows you to fulfill what you were sent to do on this earth. It is a testing ground for determining your place in the eternal Kingdom. The question about your life then becomes: “Are you using your time wisely in pursuit of your purpose?” Your purpose and assignments are for time and eternity. Knowing your purpose and also the plan with it (which we will discuss after purpose) will allow you to be effective and productive in living this present life in time. Time is a measure, a window that is open now, for you to operate in but soon it will close for everyone on the earth when Adam’s lease expires and Jesus comes to take back the fee interest. Blessed is the one busy with his or her assignment when He returns.
Teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain wisdom of heart. Psalm 90:12.
Now back to purpose. Again, I am your creator and I know the purpose and plans I have for you and they are for your shalom and not evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11. And wholeness, that is SHALOM, comes from living your purpose, which defines who I made you to be. I made you in My image and according to My likeness, you are to be love and light in all areas, aspects, and desires of your heart as you walk in perfect fellowship and partnership with Me—doing all things together with Me as your provider, healer, and helper. And this will give you the glorious freedom of dominion authority over the earth of My children and the joy unspeakable of everlasting love and fellowship with Me that all have who enter Covenant with Jesus and in Him, with Him, and through Him with Me.
What was from the beginning, what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we have looked at and touched with our hands, concerning the Word of Life and the life was manifested, and we have seen and testify and proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and was manifested to us, what we have seen and heard we proclaim to you also, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ. These things we write, so that our joy may be made complete. 1 John 1:1-4.
So the beginning and foundation of purpose but from looking back at My intent is for you to be just like Me in your character and the way you walk through life, i.e., that you think, talk, and walk in love and do not let any darkness of evil enter your thoughts, words, or actions. Let all you do be open to the Light.
This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil. For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. But he who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God. John 3:19-21.
The third part of the threefold purpose in one that I have for you and Myself is to be fruitful. Even though I entered My rest and pulled you in there with Me, I at work even till this moment.
For this reason the Jews were persecuting Jesus, because He was doing these things on the Sabbath. But He answered them, “My Father is working until now, and I Myself am working.” John 5:16-17.
I conceived you all, male and female, on the sixth day of creation but you are now physically created immediately. You each have your time in the break from eternity that you become a living being. The day I created Adam, I was already in the rest because I formed him from the dust of the ground and blew the breath of life into him on the eighth day, that is, the first day of the week, the same day (first day of the week) that I raised Jesus from the dead and He blew the Holy Spirit into the hearts of his newly born again disciples. The were born again when they believed in the resurrection and confessed Him as Lord.
So when it was evening on that day, the first day of the week, and when the doors were shut where the disciples were, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in their midst and said to them, “Peace be with you.” And when He had said this, He showed them both His hands and His side. The disciples then rejoiced when they saw the Lord. So Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you; as the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” And when He had said this, He breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive the sins of any, their sins have been forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they have been retained.” But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came. So the other disciples were saying to him, “We have seen the Lord!” John 20:19-25.
At the beginning when I shared with you My intent in creating you I made you in My image and according to My likeness to have the same purpose and perfect fellowship in our mutual agreement of truth and then I blessed you, that is, empowered you to be fruitful.
God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. God blessed them; and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” Genesis 1:27-28.
I gave you the power to be very fruitful. When I tell you to “Be” something I give you the power to do it.
I defined the blessing when I blessed Abraham:
“And I will bless you, and make your name great; and so you shall be a blessing; and I will bless those who bless you, and the one who curses you I will curse. And in you all the families of the earth will be blessed.” Genesis 12:2-3.
Fruitful means your life is blessed to be a blessing and that your life will bless everyone on earth. And today that happens to all in the Body of Christ. Every member is blessed by the good deeds of every other member and all the deeds of the head, who is Christ.
I now speak to you through My Son and He defined HOW to be fruitful and that it is available to all of you to live a very fruitful life. He gave you the example of a vine and its branches. You attach to Him and receive the Holy Spirit and are joined with the divine nature which produces fruit in you by grace (My divine life shared with you), for when you believed the good news of your salvation I sealed you in Him by the Holy Spirit as a pledge to the resurrection of your bodies on the last day.
I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away as a branch and dries up; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire and they are burned. If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples. John 15:5-8.
And I define for you the type of fruit that is produced when you are attached to Jesus by remaining in My Word and My Word remaining in you so you will understand what it means to be fruitful. It does not mean frantic activity to earn more money or to get married and have a large number of children, though riches and a prospering, healthy family raising your children to follow and love Me are results of fruitfulness but without love your works mean nothing. I am not looking at the deeds of the flesh, which can be filled with pride and sin, but at the fruit of the Spirit produced in your spirit has your way of operating in any area of your life. Here is the fruit I am looking for:
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. Let us not become boastful, challenging one another, envying one another. Galatians 5:22-26.
I contrast this to the unfruitful deeds of the flesh:
Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. Galatians 5:19-21.
If you do these, even things which people regard as not too bad and do them even though they are believers, such as strife, jealousy, envying, outbursts of anger, factions, worry, fear, and the like, you are not being fruitful and you are spending precious time doing things contrary to your purpose.
Please understand time. Time is given for the completion of purpose, the plan, and your assignment upon the earth. Whenever time is used for things that do not work toward the given purpose, it is wasted. That is why deeds done without love mean nothing. The opportunity to reach the full beauty of the time you have on earth is delayed or lost by the time you spend in thoughts, words, and actions contrary your purpose. You are using the wrong building blocks.
And coming to Him as to a living stone which has been rejected by men, but is choice and precious in the sight of God, you also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 2:4-5.
Jesus told you the parable of the talents given to various servants by their king, who then was absent for a time. Two were fruitful with the talents given them and one just buried his in the ground through fear and lived an idle life of no fruitfulness. The two who increased the gifts given them for the king were blessed and rewarded with greater responsibilities for the kingdom and entered in to share the king’s joy. The one who lived the fearful and idle life, blaming his inactivity on his fear of the king’s potential judgment of how he managed his talent, was severely reprimanded by the characterization he gave the king by his own words and so was judged according to his judgment and thrown out by his own words. By your words you are acquitted and by your words you are condemned.
Living your threefold purpose and walking out the fourfold plan for your life on earth will make you fruitful and assure your full reward when you have finished your assignment on earth. You will reach the perfection of beauty in your time and be ready to cross over in perfect fellowship with Me to My Kingdom.
