Your Word I have treasured (stored up) in my heart that I may not sin against you. Psalm 119:11.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
Each day you are building the edifice of your life and it is all up to you how you are building. What thoughts and words are you employing to write your life story?
He who guards his mouth and his tongue, guards his soul from troubles. Proverbs 21:23.
And this means controlling your thoughts. From the fullness of your heart the mouth speaks. Fill yourself with My Word and the Holy Spirit and what you say and do will be perfect. That is Covenant.
“As for Me, this is My covenant with them,” says the LORD: “My Spirit which is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your offspring, nor from the mouth of your offspring’s offspring,” says the LORD, “from now and forever.” Isaiah 59:21.
Radiate Me like Jesus did by staying in My Word and not leaving its parameters.
Run your race so to win by getting rid of every encumbrance and the sin which so easily ensnares you.
How can you keep your way pure that you may never sin again? How can you avoid the traps and wiles of the devil that will pull you into anger and faultfinding before you even realize you have gone over into dangerous turf?
Many of you are asking Me this question when you see others who seemed established in their love for Me fall away into sins of the flesh and suddenly you fear lest that should be you. Even Solomon turned to sins of the flesh and idols in his final years on earth. But if you follow My instruction to you, you will not. You will be strong in Me and the power of My might forever and you will become more and more like Christ. And sin had no place in Him. And actually sin now has no place in you since you have been born again in Christ Jesus. It is at your door, but you can be its master. But you may be saying “how can that be?” And I will give you an answer that I once gave to a similar question to what seemed impossible: “The Holy Spirit will come upon you and the power of the Most High will overshadow you.” Luke 1:35. For nothing is impossible with Me. Luke 1:37. Not by your power or might, but by My Spirit. Zechariah 4:6. For My Words are SPIRIT and LIFE. John 6:63. My Words are living and active. And they can go to work in you if you will be diligent about what I will tell you today, and if you really employ what I tell you, you will never sin again.
An evil man is ensnared by the transgression of his lips, but the righteous will escape from trouble. Proverbs 12:13. A fool’s mouth is his ruin, and his lips are the snare of his soul. Proverbs 18:7. Do not associate with a man given to anger; or go with a hot-tempered man, or you will learn his ways and find a snare for yourself. Proverbs 22:24-25. But if you renew your mind with the truth of My Word, you will come to your senses, and escape from the snare of the devil, having been held captive by him to do his will, which results in sin and then the wages of sin, which are death. 1 Timothy 2:26; Romans 6:23.
Now let Me answer your question: how can you keep your way pure (in Hebrew the word is zachah, which means to be clean (cleansed), clear, pure, and blameless, and that line actually reads, “how can a youth cleanse (clear, make pure, make blameless) his path (his way, the course of his race)?”). And the answer? By keeping it (in Hebrew the word is shamar: to keep, watch, preserve, guard, it is the root for bodyguard, watchman and gatekeeper) according to My Words. Psalm 119:9. And how do you do that? Very simple but very profound and a 24/7 vigilance over the employees of your business (that is, the thoughts of your heart and the words of your mouth for your words come from the thoughts that fill your heart, for the mouth speaks from the heart’s abundance, and life and death are in the hand of your tongue): “Your Word I have stored (tsaphan: to hide, treasure up, to store up in secret as a treasure) in my heart that I may not sin against you.” Psalm 119:11. An arsenal. A hidden group of employees ready to do their work in you for I watch over My Word to perform it. If you keeping reading and hearing and speaking, muttering, and pondering My Words as written in the Bible you will store them (plant them) in your heart and cultivate them each day, they will grow and take over until they produce a wondrous harvest that will just keep producing even in times of famine in the world and your life (trials). Mark 4:26-29, Psalm 1:1-3. I watch over My Word to perform it to achieve what I sent it to do—whether it be healing, provision, peace, joy, love, good works and so much more.
What are you storing and growing in your heart? Take care what you listen to for the measure of importance you give to this it will be measured to you and more will be given you besides. Mark 4:24. Start planting My Word in your heart, and employing the many wonderful employees I give you as your own. My Words will cleanse you. Jesus told you that. The Words He has spoken to you as His disciples have cleansed you. He washes His bride the Church with the washing of the water of the Word so she may be without spot or wrinkle—sanctified and pure, holy and blameless in My sight. And the more you treasure and listen to and meditate on My Word and employ it as your own, the more I will reveal to you.
My Words are the best employees you can ever hire as your own thoughts and words. Jesus knew and told you: “I know that His commandment is eternal life, therefore the things I speak, I speak just as the Father has told Me.” John 12:50.
Store, treasure, guard, keep My Word in your heart and not only will you not sin but you will bear fruit, much fruit, that will remain onto life eternal. Have you never read the Words I give you in My Son: “If you abide in Me and My Words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be My disciples.” John 15:7.
And what is a disciple? “If you continue (remain continuously) in My Word you are truly disciples of Mine and you will know the truth and THE TRUTH WILL MAKE YOU FREE.” John 8:31-32. Free from the power of sin and all the heartache and destruction, all the shame and guilt that comes with it! My thoughts and Words given to you to take as your own, My Word made flesh that bled and died for you so you could be born anew and filled with the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness, so that you could be filled with My power and thoughts and Words through the gift of the Holy Spirit, will free you from sin and take you into My service so that you derive your benefit from your inner business, resulting in sanctification and fruitfulness. Romans 6:22. Consider yourselves to be dead to sin, but alive to Me in Christ Jesus. Romans 6:11. My servant Paul who practiced this continually, Philippians 4:8-9, stated “But thanks be to God that though you were slaves of sin, you became obedient FROM THE HEART to that form of teaching to which you were committed [My Words], and having been freed from sin, you became slaves of righteousness.” Romans 6:17-18. And when you are “enslaved” by righteousness, established in righteousness, you are far from oppression. The wicked one will have no place there.
You must take Jesus as your LORD, but it does not stop there if you want to live the victorious Christian life. You cannot be indulgent with your old employees (thoughts) and still entertain and keep your old ways of thinking (employees) that were making you unfruitful and torturing you with emotions and fleshly addictions that ran your life. I have given you My Holy Spirit to be with you and in you forever. The Holy Spirit has come upon you and My power has overshadowed you. I have put My Words in your mouth and covered you with the shadow of My Hand (My Powerful Hand). Isaiah 51:16. You must take your thoughts captive—take your captors captive, Isaiah 14:2—to obedience to My Word and you will become more than a conqueror in My Spirit so that sin has no more power over you. When the thoughts come to your mind or you listen to voices contrary to My Words that would lead you and ensnare you in the way of death, they will find no room for their position has been filled. Filled with the Holy Spirit and His production team. Galatians 5:22-23. So continue to make melody to Me in your heart and drown out the songs of Babylon. Ephesians 5:19.
You cannot entertain your old way of thinking – thoughts of fear, envy, lust, despair, and bitterness—and think that you can make these perform correctly. They cannot for they are worldly and of devilish cunning and will lead you astray. You have to fire them, for they cannot be trained or tamed, and instead employ My thoughts and ways by the grace freely given to you in Christ Jesus. For by these I have granted to you My precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust. 2 Peter 1:4.
Let Me write My Words on the tablet of your heart and employ them as your own and you will become My love letter to the world. You will never again be ensnared by the words of your mouth.
But know if your guard ever goes down in a moment of weakness, come back to Me and repent, and I am faithful and just to cleanse you of all unrighteousness and you can again walk in fruitfulness of life. Let Me help you in this. I have given you the Helper. The Holy Spirit.
I love you. I am there for you. Let Me manage your business with you and for you. I will complete the good work I have begun in you, you have only to walk it out. But be careful how you walk and what you allow yourself to hear and see.
My son, give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your sight; keep them in the midst of your heart. For they are life to those who find them and health to all their body. Watch over your heart with all diligence, for from it flow the springs of life. Put away from you a deceitful mouth and put devious speech far from you. Let your eyes look directly ahead and let your gaze be fixed straight in front of you. Watch the path of your feet and all your ways will be established. Do not turn to the right nor to the left; turn your foot from evil. Proverbs 4:20-27.
If you are willing to put this into practice, it will cause you to suffer and struggle for a little while, but I, the God of all grace, who called you to My eternal glory in Christ, will Myself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you. 1 Peter 5:10. Do not worry. If you let Me and are open to My Spirit in you, I equip you in every good thing to do My Will, working in you that which is pleasing in My sight, through Jesus Christ. Hebrews 13:21. So then, My beloved, on your part be careful what you hear and allow to remain in your heart– work out your salvation that I have put in you with fear and trembling; for it is I who am at work in you, both to will and to work for your eternal good. It is My good pleasure to do this.
