If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love; just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. These things I have spoken to you so that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full. John 15:10-11.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
So many of you are not enjoying your days or your nights because the sin of worry is holding you tight. But Jesus came to set the captives free and heal all those oppressed of the devil. Worry and strife, a stress-filled life, is the devil’s work, not Mine. It is time you took a deep breath and stopped running so hard at your jobs, obligations and demands spending your time on things that don’t matter and waste your day. Time is precious so let Me teach you the way to walk in time so that you are above it, in other words, so it is working for you and not against you.
First, stop telling yourself it is all too much and instead say My grace is more than enough. Bring Me into the equation and let Me organize your day aright that you may gain wisdom of heart. And do not worry so much about whether you are happy or not. Just be happy.
My Son told you how to be filled with joy. He is My Word made flesh and He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life and when He sets you free you are free indeed, so you would be wise to do whatever He tells you.
On the night of the Last Supper My Son revealed many wonderful truths to you. Among other things He told you how to have complete, full joy that no one can take from you.
He revealed to you that if you abide in Him as the branch does in the vine, and His Words (which are also My Words) abide in you, that you may ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. John 15:7. And He told you that I, the Father, am glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and thus prove to be My disciples.
Just as I love Jesus, I also love you and He also loves you; so abide in His love. If you keep His commandments, you will abide in our love; just as He kept My commandments and abides in My love. So I abide in Him, He abides in Me, and so I abide in you through Him.
And He told you these things so that His joy can be in you, and your joy can be made full. John 15:11.
The key to complete, full joy that no one can take from you then is abiding in Jesus as the branch in the vine by keeping His commandments of love and filling your mind and heart with My Word. Put your roots deep down in Him and draw life into yourself from Him. Eternal life is My gift to you in Jesus. Just as you received Him as your Savior, trust Him too to get you through each day’s problems. The burden is too great for you alone.
The things that you carry are burdensome, a load for the weary beast. They stooped over, they have bowed down together; they could not rescue the burden, but have themselves gone into captivity. Isaiah 46:1-2.
What is your answer? Let Me bear it for you.
“Remember the former things long past, for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is no one like Me, Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things which have not been done, saying, ‘My purpose will be established, and I will accomplish all My good pleasure.’” Isaiah 46:9-10.
Jesus tells you to come to Him, you who are burdened, and He will refresh you for His yoke is easy and the burden light. In Him is grace, grace upon grace. Grace is My life in you, you must be operating with grace. You must be filled with My grace as a branch is filled with the sap from the vine.
Grace and truth come to you through Jesus. My grace is My divine life flowing into you to will and to do what you cannot do on your own. And depending on how fully you abide in My Son determines the level of grace you will have. And how fully you abide in Him (and so in Me) is determined by the level of My Word you have in your heart and whether permit any words contrary (stout against) My Word to enter you heart, your mind, and/or your mouth.
And the more of My life—My grace—that pours into your heart by My Holy Spirit, the greater your joy will be and the more fruitful your life will be. The more grace you have, the more light you have, and the more light you have the more goodness and love you have in your life. You can then know what you are to do and what your special gift is and begin to walk in the life of good deeds I prepared for you in advance.
And then your life will soar at levels you never dreamed possible. My grace is sufficient for you to do anything I call you to do.
My grace removes burdens and destroys yokes just as the sun breaking through the clouds disburses a storm, just as the sunrise dispels the dark night.
Even when trials come, with enough grace you can face them without fear or despair. You will not lose your joy. When you are filled with My grace you have a joy that no one and nothing can take from you.
Fullness of joy comes when you are doing My Will. For My Will is My plan for your happiness. It is within My Will for your life that your assignment lies and you will not operate in true joy until you are operating within your assignment, within your anointing, doing what you were made to do. Only will the true desire of your heart be fulfilled.
If you violate My Word you cut yourself off from the vine and you lose the flow of My grace into you. You become totally unfruitful and wither up. You are good for nothing but firewood!
And when you operate out of My grace you lose your light and then how deep the darkness will be! And the joy goes out of your life. For there is no joy without light and love. And when you cut yourself off from Me by violating My Word you cut yourself off from light and love. For I am Light and I am Love. There is no other source of these.
So if you want to have joy in your life, joy unspeakable and filled with glory, all you need to do is draw close to Me and attach yourself to Me through Jesus as a branch is attached to the vine. The branch draws all its life and nourishment from the vine. You must do the same with Jesus. And He is My Word. So the only way to have joy is to remain in My Word every moment, not letting your mind, mouth or actions deviate from it in the least, and to let My Word remain in and direct you in all you do. Learn to lean on Me and not your own understanding. Put pressure on My Word, not on the world. Look to Me at all times to meet all your needs. Do not rely on your flesh to get you through life triumphantly. In your flesh alone you cannot do the impossible, it takes My Spirit in you and on you to do that. But remember this: It is My Word that is Spirit and life.
It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing; the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and are life. John 6:63.
What can keep you from having this flow in your life that rejoices the heart and enlightens the eyes, that lifts the burden and breaks the yoke?
“But there are some of you who do not believe.” John 6:64.
It is a question of where your heart is whether you will be happy and free or not.
I will give them a heart to know Me, for I am the LORD; and they will be My people, and I will be their God, for they will return to Me with their whole heart. Jeremiah 24:7.
Do you remember that Judas Iscariot, who betrayed My Son to death, gave his heart to Satan?
So Jesus said to the twelve, “You do not want to go away also, do you?” Simon Peter answered Him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have words of eternal life. We have believed and have come to know that You are the Holy One of God.” Jesus answered them, “Did I Myself not choose you, the twelve, and yet one of you is a devil?” Now He meant Judas the son of Simon Iscariot, for he, one of the twelve, was going to betray Him. John 6:67-71.
Can you become a devil? Your master is the one you give your heart too and the servant becomes like his master, the household like the head of the household, and the student like his teacher. Who are you giving you attention and your life to?
Remember at the Passover meal the night He was betrayed, I tell you that the devil had already put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon, to betray Jesus, and then during the first part of the seder meal that Satan entered into him and he went out immediately to go to lead the leaders and their guards to where Jesus would pray that night to capture Him apart from the crowds that came to hear Him for fear of a riot.
Be careful about letting the devil put worry, fear, doubt, longing for money, or lust in your heart, do not let him enter in. If you entertain his thoughts in your heart, you give him more and more power in your life. If you give the devil control of your heart, which Adam did, then he takes your identity, your dominion authority and your place. Jesus told you the devil had no place in Him and Paul told you to give no place to the devil.
But if you let My Words and thoughts plant in your heart, they will save you and drive out the death that comes with letting Satan in. The result will be life, eternal life. And that is joy unspeakable filled with glory.
The one who believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself; the one who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has given concerning His Son. And the testimony is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life. This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him. 1 John 5:10-15.
It is resurrection joy.
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies, and everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die.” John 11:25-26.
Therefore you too have grief now; but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you. In that day you will not question Me about anything. Truly, truly, I say to you, if you ask the Father for anything in My name, He will give it to you. Until now you have asked for nothing in My name; ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be made full. John 16:22-24.
Do whatever Jesus tells you and you will share His joy and your joy will be complete. There is no other way to true joy. There is joy in believing. And He only told you all the things He did, not to burden your life, but to set you free so that you would have joy.
And that is what My Covenant with you is all about. My blessing makes you rich and adds not sorrow with it. And I mean rich in every area of your life.
And remember, My Word tells you that you must first give to receive and what you give will be given to you and more besides. You must first give happiness to receive happiness. You must be happy to be happy. Giving out grief and sadness will not bring you back joy. Selah.
I love you. Stand on My promises and speak My Words so that your joy may be full. Permit no corrupt communication out of your mouth, and that includes grumbling, complaining, and despair—only faith, hope, and love give true joy.
