And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they began speaking with tongues and prophesying. Acts 19:6
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
Do you remember when Isaiah had the vision of My holiness in My throne room with the seraphim crying out one to another: “Holy, Holy, Holy, is the LORD of hosts, the whole earth is full of His glory,” as they hovered about My throne, what his reaction was? Yes, he was concerned about his words that he had spoken and those around him had spoken. He repented of unclean words that had come from his mouth.
“Woe is me, for I am ruined! Because I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.” Isaiah 6:3.
And what did I do to purify his lips so he could prophesy?
Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a burning coal in his hand, which he had taken from the altar with tongs. He touched my mouth with it and said, “Behold, this has touched your lips; and your iniquity is taken away and your sin is atoned for.” Isaiah 6:6-7.
It took an atoning sacrifice. Adonai. Yeshuah. Jesus. My Word.
In the year of King Uzziah’s death I saw the Lord (אֶת אֲדֹנָ֛י) sitting on a throne, lofty and exalted, with the train of His robe filling the temple. Isaiah 6:1.
What did Jesus tell you? The mouth speaks from the heart’s abundance. To have purified lips you need a purified heart.
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God! Matthew 5:8.
How can you get a purified heart? By getting eternal life in your heart. My Words are Spirit and life. I have the Words of eternal life and I have put them in your mouths if you will open your mouths wide and let Me fill you with them. But to do that requires the work of three and they testify of Jesus and of eternal life.
For there are three that testify: the Spirit and the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement. If we receive the testimony of men, the testimony of God is greater; for the testimony of God is this, that He has testified concerning His Son. 1 John 5:7-9.
And what is the testimony of the Spirit, the water, and the blood?
And the testimony is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life. 1 John 5:11-12.
You need the blood of Jesus to cleanse your heart (spirit), soul, and body of every stain of sin, you need the washing of water with the Word to cleanse and renew your mind to holy thoughts and words that transform you in keeping with the new creation I have made you in Christ when you are born again from above by the incorruptible seed of My Word, and you need to be so filled up with the Holy Spirit that there is no room for any evil word or work in you. With these three, and I have given them all to you in Jesus, you are pure, holy, blameless and beyond reproach in My sight.
Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor perverts, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God. 1 Corinthians 6:9-11.
For it was the Father’s good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Jesus, and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven. And although you were formerly alienated and hostile in mind, engaged in evil deeds, yet He has now reconciled you in His fleshly body through death, in order to present you before Him holy and blameless and beyond reproach, if indeed you continue in the faith firmly established and steadfast, and not moved away from the hope of the gospel that you have heard, which was proclaimed in all creation under heaven. Colossians 1:19-23.
My Son told Nicodemus that you cannot enter or even see My Kingdom without being born again from above. You need to be again born of the imperishable seed of My Word to have your heart brought to eternal life again—alive to Me and dead to sin. By rejecting My Word and cutting himself off from the light by his receiving the perishable seed of the lie of the devil, Adam plunged the world and his descendants after him into the realm of the flesh devoid of the spirit, which is a realm of darkness, confusion, and violence. You could no longer see into the spirit real all around you but limited yourselves to the physical, which is temporal, subject to change, and does not endure. But the eternal is the spirit realm and it is immortal, never changes, and endures forever. It is a pure place of walking in the light with the blood of My Son continually cleansing you of all sin and unrighteousness. It is then I can open the eyes of you heart.
But even before the sacrificial atoning death of My Son had come about in time, it was present since the foundation of the world in the spirit realm and there were signs and shadows that gave credit to those of faith in My Word until the true payment came. Yes, the burnt offering, the peace offering, the sin offering, and the guilt offering. And as I instructed Joshua and Solomon, it was filling your heart, your mind, and your mouth with My Word alone with no deviation therefrom that made your way prosperous, pure, and effectual. It was fruitful. My Word planted in your heart, cultivated and grown produces the harvest of the promise in that Word, whether it be healing, good health, provision, prosperity, peace, or joy. It can be material, spiritual, emotional, and physical. My Word is life to those who find it and health to all their flesh.
Have you found My Words? I mean really discovered the treasures of wisdom and knowledge that are in them? Are you like Jeremiah? When My Words were found, he devoured them, and they became the delight and joy of his heart. And I could speak through, with and in him to My people who were not listening to Me but digging for themselves broken cisterns that held no water. Their words were stout against Mine.
How do you have good days and long satisfying life? You keep your tongue from evil and your lips from all lies and deceit, you turn from evil and do good, you seek peace and pursue it as far as you are able on your side with all people.
In his letter My servant James told you that a perfect man who can control his whole body is the one who never stumbles in what he says, the one who controls his tongue. But then he goes on to tell you that by your own efforts, relying on your flesh alone, you cannot do this. It takes the Holy Spirit to tame your tongue. On the day of Pentecost when the mantle of My power fell upon those believers gathered as one in the upper room, My Holy Spirit descended as tongues of fire resting upon their heads and then going down into their hearts and it turned their mouths to holy tongues speaking of the wonders I have done. If you will yield to My Spirit in you He can give you My thoughts and Words and they are full of blessing, eternal life, and glory. They are higher than your thoughts and words, they lift you from the dunghill to seat you on the throne with Jesus, your prince of shalom peace.
So how do you become pure, holy, and filled with JOY? You get full of the Holy Spirit by getting full of My Word until you sing it in hymns, psalms, and Spirit-sent songs. When My Word becomes your song you know you hit the gusher, the fountain that will never cease, the living water of which Jesus offered you a drink, yes, the precious gift of the Holy Spirit in you, on you, sharing Heaven with you.
Do you see? A pure heart, a holy tongue, a precious gift, the battle won. Tongues, your own prayer language to purify you heart, soul and body. Fan that gift into flame!
For this reason I remind you to kindle afresh and fan into flame the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands. 2 Timothy 1:6.
Now when the apostles in Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent them Peter and John, who came down and prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit. For He had not yet fallen upon any of them; they had simply been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Then they began laying their hands on them, and they were receiving the Holy Spirit. Acts 8:14-17.
It happened that while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul passed through the upper country and came to Ephesus, and found some disciples. He said to them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” And they said to him, “No, we have not even heard whether there is a Holy Spirit.” And he said, “Into what then were you baptized?” And they said, “Into John’s baptism.” Paul said, “John baptized with the baptism of repentance, telling the people to believe in Him who was coming after him, that is, in Jesus.” When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they began speaking with tongues and prophesying. There were in all about twelve men. Acts 19:1-7.
And once you have the Holy Spirit in you by being born again from above and are clothed in His power upon you, you are not full all the time, you must keep drawing up that spring of salvation from the well spring within your spirit and let it leap up and pour over into your soul, your flesh, and out as rivers from within you to the thirsty world.
Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise, making the most of your time, because the days are evil. So then do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. And do not get drunk with wine, for that is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit, 19 speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody with your heart to the Lord; always giving thanks for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God, even the Father. Ephesians 5:15-20.
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body; and be thankful. Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God. Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father. Colossians 3:15-17.
I am your strength and song when with joy you draw water at the springs of Salvation (Yeshuah, Jesus), the Word made flesh in you and on you, your hope of glory.
Then you will say on that day, “I will give thanks to You, O LORD; for although You were angry with me, Your anger is turned away, and You comfort me. Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; for the LORD God is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation. Therefore you will joyously draw water from the springs of salvation.” Isaiah 12:1-3.
Do not be like those who are rebellious according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience, who do not heed My voice, accept no instruction, do not trust in Me, and do not draw near to Me. Zephaniah 3:2. They destroy themselves and others.
But you, beloved, ought to remember the words that were spoken beforehand by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ, that they were saying to you, “In the last time there will be mockers, following after their own ungodly lusts.” These are the ones who cause divisions, worldly-minded, devoid of the Spirit. But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting anxiously for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life. And have mercy on some, who are doubting; save others, snatching them out of the fire; and on some have mercy with fear, hating even the garment polluted by the flesh. Jude 1:17-23.
This is a very serious time for many are hanging in the balance and many are slipping unnoticed into the darkness of eternal death. It is the time for you to take action in prayer while keeping yourself unstained by the sin that is running rampart in the world. But if you will just accept the testimony of the Spirit, the water, and the blood you will have eternal life and you will be sanctified, justified, purified and made righteous, holy, and pure before Me. And you will be safe in My secret place.
Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy, to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen. Jude 1:24-25.
Do you know Me well enough to sing “amen” to that?
I love you. Draw close to Me and I will draw close to you. And whatever I touch becomes pure. Just like when Jesus touched the leper. Just as when the coal from My golden altar touched the lips of Isaiah. My Word made flesh makes all the difference. Get so full of My Word that you too become My Word made flesh. You are what you eat. And My Word is pure spirit food. My Words are Spirit and life.
