Who is like the LORD our God, the One who sits enthroned on high, Who stoops down to look on the heavens and the earth? He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap; He seats them with princes, with the princes of their people. He settles the barren woman in her home as a happy mother of children. Praise the LORD. Psalm 113:5-9.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
Today I want to talk about making your life beautiful, the most beautiful life ever lived.
I am a God of beauty and love. I live in majestic splendor, clothed in light. The clouds are My chariots and I walk on the wings of the wind. Psalm 104:1-3. You are in My image. This is your future.
It would have been your life now—I created mankind crowned with glory and clothed in light—but Adam lost that glory when he sinned and transferred himself and all his descendants into the kingdom of darkness. He lost eternal life and sold himself and all his descendants into slavery to sin and death.
And having stepped out from under My authority, Adam found himself naked, stripped of glory.
But the good news is you can have that glory back. My Son won it back for you when He redeemed you by paying your debt in full with His own life and thus raising you to new life. Glory now awaits you in your resurrected body, clothed in light, immortality, and eternal youth. You must wait to be clothed until the last enemy, death, is put as a footstool under Christ’s feet, but it is there for you and will not disappoint. As your body parts begin to show signs of aging and wear down, do not be fearful or sad. Rejoice. It means that in the not too distant future you will be able to get a new glorified one.
You are not unhappy when your clothes or shoes wear out. It just means you will have the joy of getting new ones that are more in style. The same is true when your old car finally dies—it just means you will get a better model that has better features and technology.
But I really want to talk about your life NOW. Where you are now. What I want you to know is that no matter what level you are at, I can take you to a higher one.
Never think it is over in this life until you fall asleep in what you call death. To Me, the first death is separation from your physical body and is not the final death, I often referred to it as sleep. For if you experience it before I return then you will be with Me. Absent from the body, present with Me. The second death, as I call it in the Book of Revelation, is separation from Me forever in hell. That is death.
But back to your life now– I want to make your life beautiful, the most beautiful life ever lived. I want to drive out your darkness by the wonderful light that I give. Above all I will that you prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers. 3 John 1:2. Remember My Son came to bring you abundant life. John 10:10.
I want to write your future with you. My Will for your life is My plan for your happiness. It is a good plan for your shalom and not evil, for a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11. It is a life of good deeds prepared for you in advance that you should walk them out. Ephesians 2:10.
It is a life without limits, according to My power working in and through you, the same power that raised Jesus from the dead and seated Him at My right hand. Open wide your mouth and I will fill it! Psalm 81:10. You can only receive as much as you will open up to receive. Expand your heart. Enlarge your tent.
You can limit My power in your life, you know. The Israelites did. I gave them the Promised Land but they refused to take it. They saw themselves as too small and unskilled, they called themselves mere grasshoppers! They imagined defeat, so they refused to even go forward. After another forty years their descendants decided to enter it. If you will not go, I cannot take you where I want you to be. Abraham went with Me to Canaan land but his father would not. He stopped at Haran.
Be open to new ideas that I give you. Dare to step out and let My power work in you, through you, and around you. Let My favor go before you to open doors and to supply your needs. Let Me bless you so you can be a blessing.
I want to make your life beautiful and wonderful, but I cannot do it without your cooperation, which is obedience to My Word. You cannot obtain My wonderful promises without doing what I tell you to do in order to receive them.
What I mean is that My Word tells you that in order to prosper you must meditate on and speak My Word day and night. Joshua 1:8. That you must follow My Word and not turn away from it to the right or the left as Adam did.
And in My Word I tell you to seek My Kingdom and My Righteousness first. To make My Kingdom your priority and all else will be added to you. And you show this by giving first to Me, that is, the tithe, offerings and first fruits. You give these toward My work and the support of My house and also by being generous with others who are in need.
And you can give with more than money. Give your time, treasure and talent to building up the Body of Christ and by bringing people into the Kingdom. People need encouragement. People need someone to guide and help them. People need someone to give them hope. People need Jesus. People need to know they are forgiven in Him. They need to know the gospel of grace.
And when you have put Me and My things first, then I can make you prosper in the rest. I return gifts to you who have been generous with Me beyond what you can hold. I honor those who honor Me. Honor Me with your wealth, your tithes, offerings and first fruits, and I will open the windows of Heaven to you and pour blessings down on you. Malachi 3:8-12. You plant the seeds, I make the growth, and then you gather your harvest.
Abide in My Word and you will abide in My Son and you may ask what you want and it will done for you. Speak My Words over your life. Remember that I am your healer and your Shepherd and your Father and do not fear.
Keep your thoughts on what is above, things of excellence and beauty, not on things below, that is, down in the dirt where the snake crawls. Set your feet on the heights! Take your thoughts captive for Christ!
If you will be diligent about keeping My Word in your heart and in your mouth, I will reveal Myself to you and you will begin to see your future go places you never dreamed possible. Your life will become beautiful if you live according to My Words. My Words are sweetness and light.
The path of the righteous, those who have taken Jesus as their Lord, becomes brighter and brighter until it reaches perfect day. Proverbs 4:18. If your life is not getting brighter and better every day, if it is not better now than it was this time last year, you are doing something wrong. Sit down with Me and ask Me what it is. I will tell you and I will give you the solution.
It could be you are dwelling too much in your past—either looking back with regret at lost time, at sins committed, at lost opportunities you could have taken, or just at unwise, foolish decisions that you made without consulting Me that have put you in a place now that you do not like. If this is the case, I tell you that if you keep looking back you are not fit to go forward with Me to new heights. You do not understand grace but are still putting yourself under the law trying to earn your own righteousness. But righteousness is My gift to you in Christ Jesus and it is not by your efforts but His finished work on your behalf. So change your mind and forget what lies behind like My servant Paul did and press forward to your high calling in Christ. Do no limit your future by your past.
Each time you are tempted to look back and cry, instead thank Me that I brought you through it and that now you know Me and can have a wonderful future. Your sins and offenses I remember no more, they are washed away by the Blood of My Son. You are a new creation in Christ. Behold! I make all things new! I am always doing new things.
So, you may ask, what you need to do to get this beautiful, abundant life I want to give you. You need to begin by getting to know Me and hearing My Voice. You do this by reading, meditating on, and hearing My Word. Find out who you are in Scripture (the Bible). What you find may surprise you. You will discover in My Word that you are precious in My sight. Isaiah 43:1. That I have good plans for you. That all your sins are forgiven. That you are a new creation in Christ. That all things are possible to those who believe. That My Spirit lives in you and will lead you and guide you to all truth.
Next, find the keys to success in My Word, that is, My directions. Find out what love is in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8. Pay your tithes (the first 10% of all your income) to My Kingdom work and give Me your first fruits and offerings. Give me the first time in your day for us to fellowship.
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, and give thanks. Draw close to Me. Get filled with My Holy Spirit so the gifts of the Spirit can operate in your life. And they will operate. And they will make your life beautiful and exciting.
You will find yourself healed, whole, and filled with joy and excitement. You will speak in tongues and prophesy. Signs and wonders will follow you as you share My Word with others. You will see your prayers answered when you abide in Me, John 15:7, and your mountains will move out of your way. Mark 11:23. And as you keep My Words I will share My joy with you and your joy will be complete! John 15:11.
And when you keep My Word and walk in love, I come to make My home in you. John 14:23. And in My presence there is fullness of joy. In My presence there is beauty and light—My dwelling place is lovely, and you can make it your home now and forever.
And by My Spirit in you, I will give you creative ideas, inventions, skills, dreams, and visions. I will give you favor and I will prosper the work of your hands.
You will begin to see victory in your life. You will begin to see beauty and excellence in your life. Beauty for your ashes.
There are so many examples of people whose lives have radically changed from ugliness, mediocrity, and being at the bottom of the pit, to beauty and abundance because they came into contact with Me and followed My Word. Think of Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Joshua, Rahab, Deborah, Gideon, Ruth, Esther, Judith, David, Mary, Peter, Paul, and Lydia— I could go on and on to the present day.
Why not you?
Think of Abigail. She had a horrible, mean, abusive husband. But she stepped out to protect her husband and supplied David, the man I had chosen to be king, from her own sustenance. Her husband then died without any man raising a hand against him and David married her. She became a beloved queen and lived in a beautiful palace once I had established David as King.
Esther went from being a slave in exile to being queen of the Persian nation. And there she saved the Hebrew people from destruction.
Rahab went from the life of a harlot in a pagan city to being a heroine with the Jewish people and a beloved wife of a Jewish man. But best of all she entered the royal line of the tribe of Judah and became an ancestor of Jesus, My Son, according to the flesh.
Think of Joseph, that favored son of Jacob who his brothers sold into slavery. He went from being an imprisoned slave to being the prime minister of Egypt, the most powerful nation in the world at that time.
Moses went from the backside of the desert watching his father-in-law’s sheep to being the most powerful leader that ever lived. With My power backing him, he devastated the Egyptian empire and brought more than two million people safely through the desert to the Promised Land. Never as any other man done so many mighty and unusual works as Moses.
David went from an insignificant shepherd boy watching his father’s sheep to being the most powerful and influential king of his time.
Gideon, the most insignificant member of a poor family, after his encounters with Me, went on to become a champion—a war hero and the highest government official of his country at that time.
I could go on and on but I will stop here and ask you a question. How did each one of them do this?
Although the things they did and what they became differed for each one—you will find no two people have ever had the exact same assignment since the foundation of the world—they all had one thing in common that took them from the lowly position where they were to the heights to which they ascended. Each one believed and followed My Words. They all changed the way they saw themselves to how I saw them. They all dared to believe My Word and to do it. They all trusted Me enough to go forward and do things that looked impossible and doomed to failure because I told them to do them. They cast their cares on Me, believed in My love for them, and made their thoughts match My Words. They filled their hearts with My Word, and you speak what fills your heart.
Like Abraham leaving his home and all he was familiar with when I told him to go where I would show him. Like Joshua leading the Israelites into the Promised Land and taking Jericho by a shout. Like Mary saying “yes” to My Word becoming flesh in her womb. Like Peter leaving his business when I told him to follow Me and walking on water when I told him to come.
Wherever you are now, it can be brighter and better. If you are walking with Me, such growth should be normal. Like the branch bearing fruit on the vine. It just happens if the branch stays abiding in the vine.
To bear abundant fruit you must remain in My Word and it must remain in you.
Ask Me to give you My Holy Spirit. Luke 11:13. I will. But you must keep My Word to realize the benefits that I promise. John 14:15-16.
Begin today. The time is NOW. You are here. And what you have is the present moment. Make the most of it, seize it.

If you read the first chapter of Genesis, you will see where I started making your life beautiful. I set up the whole universe for you and then I placed you in it and gave you dominion over it. Let me continue to write the story with you. Let us take all your gifts and build them into a beautiful mosaic.
Let Me make your life beautiful, the most beautiful life ever lived, by My Word of power in you and on you—by My favor and My grace. Refer everything to Me, lean on Me, live in Me! Connect and expect.
