If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth; but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with God, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin. 1 John 1:6-7.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
Live in the light of My love. Live in the light of My truth. Live in Me for I am love and I am light and in Me there is no darkness. By My Spirit I guide you to all truth. My eye is always upon you to direct you in the way you should go and to keep your foot from evil.
My eyes are continually toward the LORD, for He will pluck my feet out of the net. Psalm 25:15.
Keep the spotlight of your life on Me and you will always be in center stage.
When Jesus came walking on the water to safely bring the disciples to the other shore, Peter called for proof of His presence by requesting an invitation to do as He was doing and My Son granted his request for that proof by allowing him to join him on the surface of the deep. All went well as Peter fixed his eyes on Jesus but when he turned his eyes away and no longer kept Jesus center stage in the rough and windy sea he stepped off the path on the sea and began to sink.
To You I lift up my eyes, O You who are enthroned in the heavens! Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their master, as the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes look to the LORD our God, until He is gracious to us. Psalm 123:1-2.
I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; from where shall my help come? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to slip; He who keeps you will not slumber. Psalm 121:1-3.
But when he began to sink, he knew what to do. He called out, “Lord, save me!” Whoever calls on the name of the Lord is saved. When you believe in your heart I raised Jesus from the dead and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, you are made righteous and you are saved. My hand is not too short to save nor My ear too deaf to hear.
The steps of a man are established by the LORD, and He delights in his way. When he falls, he will not be hurled headlong, because the Lord is the One who takes hold of his hand. Psalm 37:23-24.
All problems unsolved, all pitfalls that destroy, all paths that end in death, all confusion that makes your life unsettled and tormented, and all evil days that continue on and on, come to those who do not live in My light, for in My light you see light and with Me is the fountain of life, abundant life. My Word is a light to your path and a lamp to your feet. Without My Word stored and treasured in your heart so it is your first and only response to all that is evil, idle, and unfruitful, in other words, all that would waste and bring to nothing your brief time here on earth, you have no anchor and no firm foundation on which to build your life but are tossed about in the busyness of a life that is not worth living—a frustrating and unsatisfying life.
Abraham breathed his last and died in a ripe old age, an old man and satisfied with life; and he was gathered to his people. Genesis25:8.
Why was Abraham satisfied with life, so satisfied that I allowed him to live to 175 years? He believed My Word and followed My light. He walked before Me in My light, making him blameless in My sight. Genesis 17:1. Whenever I called his name, his answer was “Behold, here I am!” and he was ready to go and do whatever I showed him. I was his very great reward.
“I will fill the soul of the priests with abundance, And My people will be satisfied with My goodness,” declares the LORD. Jeremiah 31:14.
Come and live your life in Me, I will set you O so free! I want you to know, I love you so, I love you so.
Every time life gets dark and confusing and you feel lost and afraid, just turn your attention on Me in your heart and let My Spirit bring passages of Scripture to your remembrance that apply so that the wisdom of My Words brings light into your darkness and clarity into your confusion. Read and meditate upon My Words as written in the Bible so they dwell in you richly and then they will speak in your heart just when you need them if you turn your attention from the outward thoughts and delve down into your spirit for the inward witness of My Spirit in you and with you. Learn to live your life from the inside out.
So then, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for good pleasure.
That is how Jesus lived His life according to the flesh and that is how you live in Me. He always first looked in to perceive what I was saying to Him and then He spoke as I had told Him. He let Me initiate His response to anything outward from inward.
“For I did not speak on My own initiative, but the Father Himself who sent Me has given Me a commandment as to what to say and what to speak. I know that His commandment is eternal life; therefore the things I speak, I speak just as the Father has told Me.” John 12:49-50.
He is the Light of the world, if you follow Him you will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life. What does it mean to have the light of life?
For You have delivered my soul from death, indeed my feet from stumbling, so that I may walk before God in the light of the living. Psalm 56:13.
Return to your rest, O my soul, for the Lord has dealt bountifully with you. For You have rescued my soul from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling. I shall walk before the Lord in the land of the living. Psalm 116:8-9.
The path of the wicked is dark and they do not know what they stumble over, but the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, getting brighter and brighter until perfect day. Proverbs 4:18-19.
I love you. You are known, cherished, and loved by Me. Know where the light is that you are looking for, it is the glory and it is shining on you now if you want it.
