And I will keep You and give You for a covenant of the people, to restore the land, to make them inherit the desolate heritages; saying to those who are bound, ‘Go forth,’ to those who are in darkness, ‘Show yourselves.’ Isaiah 49:8-9.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
Covenant love is forever—My everlasting Covenant of love. In a world hostile and separated from Me, covenant makes you Mine and gives Me authority to act in your life to raise you up and seat you with Christ at My right hand. His blood, the blood of the eternal covenant, redeemed you and reconciled you to Me holy, blameless, and beyond reproach.
For it was the Father’s good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him, and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven. And although you were formerly alienated and hostile in mind, engaged in evil deeds, yet He has now reconciled you in His fleshly body through death, in order to present you before Him holy and blameless and beyond reproach. Colossians 1:19-22.
Without covenant, you are without Me in the world. I have no authority to act in your life. You are separated from Me with Adam.
Therefore remember that formerly you, the Gentiles in the flesh, who are called “Uncircumcision” by the so-called “Circumcision,” which is performed in the flesh by human hands— remember that you were at that time separate from Christ, excluded from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. Ephesians 2:11-12.
You can sum covenant up as a reconciliation to oneness with Me.
But now in Christ Jesus you who formerly were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. For He Himself is our peace, who made both groups into one and broke down the barrier of the dividing wall, by abolishing in His flesh the enmity, which is the Law of commandments contained in ordinances, so that in Himself He might make the two into one new man, thus establishing peace, and might reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, by it having put to death the enmity. Ephesians 2:13-16.
After Adam’s sin and separation, the blood of lamb, bulls, and goats made reparation on credit but the real payment of eternal blood, for the life is in the blood, of the eternal life Adam killed in himself and all his seed was coming in the promised seed of the woman, the Messiah. But no man born of Adam had that to offer, only I could offer that when I sent down My Word from My bosom and planted in the heart of Mary, as she said, “Let it be done to me according to your Word,” the Word took on flesh and came to dwell among you.
Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, a virgin will be with child and bear a son, and she will call His name Immanuel (God with us). Isaiah 7:14.
God with you in oneness with you according to the flesh but God in accordance with the Spirit.
Paul, a bond-servant of Christ Jesus, called as an apostle, set apart for the gospel of God, which He promised beforehand through His prophets in the holy Scriptures, concerning His Son, who was born of a descendant of David according to the flesh, who was declared the Son of God with power by the resurrection from the dead, according to the Spirit of holiness, Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 1:1-4.
From the foundation of the world the whole world was waiting for Jesus to be set free from the corruption under which separation from Me by the first man and woman with the cherub Lucifer had burdened creation. Their act of unrighteousness and dishonor caused devastation and destruction of the beautiful world I had made for mankind and brought evil into their hearts and those of the children begotten to their image and likeness.
When Adam had lived one hundred and thirty years, he became the father of a son in his own likeness, according to his image, and named him Seth. Genesis 5:3.
Children of disobedience, like their parents, living a futile way of life, hating and being hated.
And you were dead in your trespasses and sins, in which you formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience. Among them we too all formerly lived in the lusts of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest. Ephesians 2:1-3.
But then came Noah, who walked with Me and became righteous in his age and I entered a Covenant with him and so began the way back to oneness with Me. And it all began with My bow in the sky which is now around My throne of grace where you are seated now in oneness with Me.
After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven, and the first voice which I had heard, like the sound of a trumpet speaking with me, said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after these things.” Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne was standing in heaven, and One sitting on the throne. And He who was sitting was like a jasper stone and a sardius in appearance; and there was a rainbow around the throne, like an emerald in appearance. Revelation 4:1-3.
Jesus came and all became new. Heaven opened again to mankind. Jesus is the door, the open door for all who believe. He is My Covenant with you. Your great High Priest. Do you see that at the throne? I do. The jasper stone on the High Priest’s breastpiece was for Benjamin, whose name means “the Son of My right hand,” and the sardius was for Reuben, the firstborn son (“see the son”). The emerald stone, and the rainbow is emerald, is the tribe of Levi, the priests who are My portion.
Through My prophet Isaiah I tell many deep truths about who Jesus is and what He does for you. I tell you that I give Him as a covenant for the people. Right before that I tell you that, “In a favorable time I have answered you, and in a day of salvation I have helped you.” Isaiah 49:8. Now is the acceptable time and now is the day of Salvation (Yeshuah which is the name of Jesus in Hebrew). He has come and you can be a new creation in Christ, old things have passed away for I have made all things new in Him. This is a time of extraordinary favor before the tribulation comes. My heart is turned to you to call you back to Me, your true and only Father, and to give you My righteousness in place of your unrighteousness. Grace does that for you, which you receive by faith
And I will keep You and give You for a covenant of the people, to restore the land, to make them inherit the desolate heritages; saying to those who are bound, ‘Go forth,’ to those who are in darkness, ‘Show yourselves.’ Isaiah 49:8-9.
Jesus came to set the captives free. He went about doing good and healing all those oppressed by the devil. That is covenant in action. Raising you up from the ash heap to seat you with the Prince of Peace. Restorning to you the inheritance Adam lost for you—none other then eternal life reigning with Me at My right hand in Jesus.
He raises the poor from the dust, He lifts the needy from the ash heap to make them sit with princes and inherit a seat of honor. 1 Samuel 2:8.
In Jesus I have qualified you for the inheritance of the saints in light. I have rescued you from the realm of darkness and translated you into the Kingdom of My Beloved Son.
When two join in covenant as one, the greater one of the union raises the lesser up to greater one’s level, especially in areas of supply and protection.
They will not hunger or thirst, nor will the scorching heat or sun strike them down; for He who has compassion on them will lead them and will guide them to springs of water. Isaiah 49:10.
You know whom I am speaking of for sure. This passage of Isaiah should sound familiar. Like everything about the Messiah and the covenant, it is all fulfilled and made complete in Jesus.
They will hunger no longer, nor thirst anymore; nor will the sun beat down on them, nor any heat; for the Lamb in the center of the throne will be their shepherd, and will guide them to springs of the water of life; and God will wipe every tear from their eyes. Revelation 7:16-17.
You have washed your robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Revelation 7:14; Matthew 26:28; Isiah 43:12, Ephesians 1:7.
Look again, you shall not hunger or thirst anymore when you have Jesus.
Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; he who comes to Me will not hunger, and he who believes in Me will never thirst. John 6:35.
Jesus answered and said to her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.” She said to Him, “Lord, You have nothing to draw with and the well is deep; where then do You get that living water? You are not greater than our father Jacob, are You, who gave us the well, and drank of it himself and his sons and his cattle?” Jesus answered and said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will thirst again; but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.” John 4:10-14.
And the sun will not beat down on you nor any heat.
The LORD is your keeper; the LORD is your shade on your right hand. The sun will not smite you by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD will protect you from all evil; He will keep your soul. The LORD will guard your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forever. Psalm 121:5-8.
I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. John 10:9.
For behold, the day is coming, burning like a furnace; and all the arrogant and every evildoer will be chaff; and the day that is coming will set them ablaze,” says the LORD of hosts, “so that it will leave them neither root nor branch. But for you who fear My name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings; and you will go forth and skip about like calves from the stall. You will tread down the wicked, for they will be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day which I am preparing,” says the LORD of hosts. Malachi 4:1-3.
Jesus is the Covenant complete. Oneness, likeness, perfection in Him alone for all who behold and believe. Jesus is the expression of My oneness with you—He is God clothed in humanity who then clothes you in divinity. But more than that, He fills you with Himself and thus fills you with My fullness. We are sealed, joined, locked together as One in Jesus.
I love you and have made an everlasting covenant with you that once you enter it with Me, it can never be broken. Nothing and no one can separate you from My love as manifested in Christ Jesus your Lord.
What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate. Mark 10:9
