“The Spirit (ruach) of God has made me, and the breath (neshamah) of the Almighty gives me life.” Job 33:4.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

Jesus told you that My Words are Spirit and life. He told you that He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. I tell you that He is My Word manifested in the flesh as one like you in all things but sin. Born from above by My Word as the Holy Spirit hovered to bring that Word into being with the substance of faith that comes in My Word joining with the faith in the hearer who then spoke the consent.

The angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; and for that reason the holy Child shall be called the Son of God. And behold, even your relative Elizabeth has also conceived a son in her old age; and she who was called barren is now in her sixth month. For nothing will be impossible with God.” And Mary said, “Behold, the handmaid of the Lord; may it be done to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her. Luke 1:35-38.

And Elizabeth was aware of the same, at Mary’s greeting she was filled with the Spirit too and cried out:

And blessed is she who believed that there would be a fulfillment of what had been spoken to her by the Lord. Luke 1:45.

And He has opened a new and living way for you to come to Me with confidence and joy. And how does He lead you in that way of truth? The One just like Him who came to regenerate you in My Word, which is truth, to eternal life, but never to leave you, staying in you and on you as He leads you in the path of life to your eternal goal.

“If you love Me, you will keep My commandments. I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever; that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.” John 14:15-18.

The Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth, is the way all creation works and runs. He is My Spirit. And I promised Him to you who believe, you who join in Covenant with Me. He is My pledge, My guarantee, and My gift to you of your ownership of all that is Mine.

In Christ, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation—having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is given as a pledge of our inheritance, with a view to the redemption of possession, to the praise of His glory. Ephesians 1:13-14.

You truly are a new creation in Christ. You are very different than the first Adam in the last Adam. And it all has to do with the Holy Spirit and the godkind of eternal life.

Thus it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being”; the last Adam became a life-giving spirit. 1 Corinthians 15:45.

When I created Adam, he was a physically eternal being. I made the flesh to rejuvenate and continue with maximum function forever. There was eternal life in the flesh. And the earth was his home forever.

Then the LORD God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life (nishmat chayyim), and the man became a living creature. Genesis 2:7.

But when I create you anew with a new heart and put My Spirit in you it is not neshamah נְשָׁמָה it is ruach רוּחַ.

Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit (ruach) within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit (ruach) within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will be careful to observe My ordinances.” Ezekiel 36:26-27.

When I speak of My Holly Spirit it is always the Hebrew word “ruach (רוּחַ),” which also means wind and breath.

Job longed to stand forth upon the dust and rise to life after death knowing that his redeemer lives, and what did he explain?

“The Spirit (ruach) of God has made me, and the breath (neshamah) of the Almighty gives me life.” Job 33:4.

I have given you everything you need, fully equipped you, for life and godliness. That includes physical and spiritual.

Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord; seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. 2 Peter1:2-3.

The life-breath which I make a creature physically alive is not the same thing as the indwelling of My Holy Spirit that gives spiritual life. I made you in My image and according to My likeness by My Spirit, but I gave you and all creatures life and breath physically when I breathed the physical life into your lungs.

The indwelling Holy Spirit is distinct from the natural life-breath shared by humans and animals. It is for those who are Mine in covenant reality.

“That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.” John 3:6.

Limited to the flesh, you cannot see into spiritual realms. You may see My works but you cannot learn My ways, because My ways have to do with spiritual concepts and realities that the natural mind cannot grasp.

But just as it is written, “Things which eye has not seen and ear has not heard, and which have not entered the heart of man, all that God has prepared for those who love Him.” For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God. For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so the thoughts of God no one knows except the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God, which things we also speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words. 1 Corinthians 2:9-10,

If someone would ask you what the things freely given you by Me, would you know them? You should by now. The Holy Spirit in you teaches you all things and gives you news of what is to come.

Psalm 103 is a good place to start.

Bless the LORD, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits; who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases; who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy; who satisfies you with good thin so that your youth is renewed like the eagle. Psalm 103:1-5.

Let My Spirit instruct in in all the benefits you have freely given you by Me. In fact, let My Spirit in you teach you all things and tell you of what is yet to come.

I love you. I have given you My Spirit and your life’s breath, you are well equipped for all that you have before you on your path of life.
