And the one on whom seed was sown on the good soil, this is the man who hears the word and understands it; who indeed bears fruit and brings forth, some a hundredfold, some sixty, and some thirty.” Matthew 13:23.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
In the beginning I blessed you to be fruitful, very fruitful, with fruit that would endure. I gave you dominion over the earth, free will to exercise that dominion, and seed to make you fruitful. And the primary seed I gave you (and continue giving you) to make everything prosper and succeed was and is My Word. All the direction, power, and help you need to use the earthly seed to produce and reproduce in every area of physical, agricultural, and financial life was first there for you and for all creation in My Word and so it always will be. My Word is established forever for I AM My Word. Psalm119:89. I do not change and neither does My Word.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. John 1:1-4.
Everything was made, everything is sustained, and everything functions properly by My Word and the application thereof.
“Take to your heart all the words with which I am warning you today, which you shall command your sons to observe carefully, even all the words of this law. For it is not an idle word for you; indeed it is your life. And by this word you will prolong your days in the land, which you are about to cross the Jordan to possess.” Deuteronomy 32:46-47.
My Word is life, in it is eternal life. My Word began everything and from the beginning I have made My Word known. All creation speaks of Me, its artist and creator, who gives it purpose and meaning. But I purposefully reveal Myself clearly by My Word, from the beginning I spoke it, I wrote it and finally sent My Word in the flesh as one like you so you could hear, see, and touch My Word in One who joined your humanity with My divinity, making you in Him partakers of My divine nature. Through My Word and My Spirit you have fellowship with Me; and indeed your fellowship is with Me, your Father, through My Son Jesus Christ. Jesus spoke My Word to you so My joy would be in you so that your joy would be made full. John 15:11.
My Word is living and working, sharper than any two-edged (two-mouthed) sword, going in you to physically heal you and to spiritually discern the thoughts and motives of your heart. You can rely on My Word. When you keep My Word, I can keep you. In keeping My Words there is great reward. Psalm 19:11.
My son, do not forget My teaching (Torah-written Word) but let your heart keep My commandments; for length of days and years of life and peace they will add to you. Proverbs 3:1-2.
You can hold your troubled heart in peace by My Word. When you know that I am your healer, your provider, your redeemer, and your Father who sent you My beloved Son as your sin offering to pay your judgment before Me and satisfy your sentence you know I have given you everything you need to overcome as more than a conqueror and you can abide with Me in peace and joy far from fear and torment.
How you treat My Word determines if you are fruitful or waste your life in a fruitless and barren existence. It is your key to a successful and prosperous life, in every area and arena of life. Jesus taught His first parable on this and told His disciples if you do not understand this parable you won’t understand any of His parables. Because just as in the beginning My Word was the seed that caused all to be made and grow and continues to produce, reproduce, create new ideas and things to do with the things already made and seed I already gave.
This parable is the parable of the sower sowing seed that falls on different kinds of ground that symbolize your heart and what you do with My Word when you hear it. When you respect and honor My Word by keeping it in your heart and not letting it be stolen and fail to grow to harvest (the promise in the Word you have heard). When you honor My Word, I honor you, when you despise My Word, you are lightly esteemed. The way you respond to My Word, and I am My Word, is how I must respond to you. My Word is life and health to you when
Whoever despises the Word brings destruction on himself, but he who reveres the commandment will be rewarded. Proverbs 13:13.
So let us begin the parable of parables.
“Listen! Behold, the sower went out to sow; as he was sowing, some seed fell beside the road, and the birds came and ate it up. Other seed fell on the rocky ground where it did not have much soil; and immediately it sprang up because it had no depth of soil. And after the sun had risen, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away. Other seed fell among the thorns, and the thorns came up and choked it, and it yielded no crop. Other seeds fell into the good soil, and as they grew up and increased, they yielded a crop and produced thirty, sixty, and a hundredfold.” And He was saying, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear.” Mark 4:4-9.
The disciples did not understand this parable, so they went to Jesus privately and asked Him to explain its meaning, and His answer is for you too as His disciples:
And He said to them, “Do you not understand this parable? How will you understand all the parables? The sower sows the word. These are the ones who are beside the road where the word is sown; and when they hear, immediately Satan comes and takes away the word which has been sown in them. In a similar way these are the ones on whom seed was sown on the rocky places, who, when they hear the word, immediately receive it with joy; and they have no firm root in themselves, but are only temporary; then, when affliction or persecution arises because of the word, immediately they fall away. And others are the ones on whom seed was sown among the thorns; these are the ones who have heard the word, but the worries of the world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things enter in and choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful. And those are the ones on whom seed was sown on the good soil; and they hear the word and accept it and bear fruit, thirty, sixty, and a hundredfold.” Mark 4:13-20.
When the evil one comes, what does My Son tell you that he comes to snatch away from you? My Word. That was the first parable My Son told you and He told you if you do not understand that parable, you will not understand any of them. The Word is the most valuable thing in your life. In it lies every promise and every blessing and how to obtain it.
You may not realize it and thus not give it any importance, but the most valuable treasure you have is My Word. If you find My Word you find life, deliverance from destruction, and healing for all your flesh. Proverbs 4:22; Psalm 107:20. My Word works in you and in the world, it is living and active. My Word is Spirit and life, My Word is forever, My Word is truth, My Word is eternal life, and My Word is wisdom. My Word is the imperishable seed of everything you need and more. Why? I AM My Word.
In that first parable, My Son used the example of a sower sowing seed and whether it grew or not, whether there was a harvest or not, depended upon the ground upon which it was sown. There was stony ground, shallow ground, thorny and weed filed ground, and good ground. But I want you to note that the seed was always the same, it was well able to produce a harvest but the harvest was not dependent on the seed but on the ground, and the amount of the harvest, even on good soil, was dependent on two things, the amount of seed sown and the cultivation of the seed once it was planted in good soil.
Let us look at it in more depth. Because many of you have received My Word and you have not rejected it, but you have allowed thorns and weeds to grow unchecked in your heart and stifled your harvest or you have just let it lay idle and have not cultivated the seed. The only way you actually receive and grow the implanted Word is by actively guarding it in your heart, pulling out the weeds and thorns (the bitter roots that will poison the harvest), taking every bird of the air captive (take captive every disobedient thought to a thought of Christ), and being a doer of the Word (doing what is the direction with the promise to make it come to fruition).
First, understand that I do not promise you any result in My Word without telling you how to obtain that promise and giving you the grace to be able to do what you must do to obtain it. I am in you to will and to do and then you work it out to the physical manifestation by filling your heart with it, getting the correct picture in your head and heart of who you are and where you are headed, and then refusing to speak anything but the result you are aiming at. Do not speak stout against My Word and expect it will come to pass in your life. Do not question My Word, examine yourself to see if you are doing what I tell you to do to have that Word come to pass in your life. My Word is truth and it will come to pass but the timing in your life is up to you.
It is taking in My Word, honoring it, keeping it and doing it that makes you fruitful, and your degree of diligence with My Word determines the level you will produce as well.
My Word is always joined together with Light. I am My Word and I am Light. And My first recorded Word in the Bible is “Light be!” The light of life and the life that is the light of men. That is why Jesus, My Word, is the Light of the world. No follower of His will ever walk in darkness but will have the Light of life. Light is pure and to grow all creation needs light. The revelation of My Word gives light and in My light you see light and become light for with Me is the fountain of life and that fountain flows to you through the gift of My Spirit poured into you who believe in Jesus and are born again by the imperishable, incorruptible seed of My Word. When you receive My Word sown and implanted in your heart you save your souls and are rescued out of darkness into My own marvelous light. And My Word is the light that leads you and shows you the path of life and is the lamp to your feet along the way so you do not stumble.
Come walk, live, and abide in the Word so you may walk, live, and abide in the light. And in that light, open to the truth, the blood of My Son continually cleanses you of all sin.
It is My pleasure to give the Kingdom to those who keep My Word. Seek the Kingdom first and My way of righteousness and EVERY GOOD THING AND PERFECT GIFT will be given you in ever greater measure the more you seek and do My Word.
Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow. In the exercise of His will He brought us forth by the word of truth, so that we would be a kind of first fruits among His creatures. James 1:16-18.
Now, are you doing My Word? My Word is living and working. PUT MY WORD TO WORK and change your world. Do not reject My Word, let it plant and take deep root in you by speaking it and doing it until it becomes the solid rock foundation on which your life is built.
Jesus told you He is the vine and you are the branches, but you only bear much fruit if you continue to abide (remain) in the Vine. And Jesus told you that you abide by remaining in His Word and letting it remain in you. My Word becomes how you think, speak, see yourself, and guides your actions. Then you will bear much fruit and truly be His disciples. Free to be fruitful.
I love you. Ponder these things. Find them in My Word and remember that if you are willing and obedient you will have the best of the land.
