The wise woman builds her house, but the foolish tears it down with her own hands. Proverbs 14:1.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
You determine your destiny and your reward. It is in your control. You control it by your words, your thoughts, and your actions. Your mouth runs your life and influences all those who listen to you. James 3:1-6.
In the mouth of the foolish is a rod for his back, but the lips of the wise will protect them. Proverbs 14:3.
Words from the mouth of a wise man are gracious, while the lips of a fool consume him. Ecclesiastes 10:12.
Who is the wise man that may understand this? And who is he to whom the mouth of the LORD has spoken, that he may declare it? Why is the land ruined, laid waste like a desert, so that no one passes through? The LORD said, “Because they have forsaken My law which I set before them, and have not obeyed My voice nor walked according to it, but have walked after the stubbornness of their heart and after the Baals, as their fathers taught them. Jeremiah 9:12-14.
As a man thinks so is he. How you see Me and yourself limits or extends how far you can go in the fruitful, abundant life of good deeds and increase I prepared for you since the foundation of the world and determines where you will be established forever.
So they gave out to the sons of Israel a bad report of the land which they had spied out, saying, “The land through which we have gone, in spying it out, is a land that devours its inhabitants; and all the people whom we saw in it are men of great size. There also we saw the Nephilim (the sons of Anak are part of the Nephilim); and we became like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight.” Numbers 13:32-33.
They saw themselves as helpless grasshoppers and the opposition as giant men. This was not true for I had made them more than conquerors and My protection had left the “giants” due to their evil and destructive ways.
Years later when their children entered the land with Joshua and conquered it they found that what their fathers had said was a lie, the “giants” feared them because I was so big. They knew what had happened to Egypt when My people were enslaved and mistreated there. And just as My life giving Word to Pharaoh had been “Let My people go,” which he would have been abundantly blessed if he had been willing to obey My Words of life, so was My Word to the inhabitants of the promised land for I had spoken to them since the time of Abraham to leave their evil ways, even the warning of Sodom and Gomorrah did not bring an awakening to righteousness. Those who destroy the earth and its inhabitants, and themselves as well by their persistent perversion of good and truth, will be destroyed. That is not My Will, but it is the outcome of their decision of how to run their lives.
From the rising to the setting of the sun I am speaking, and I have given every person a conscience. Unless they repent and leave their evil ways to walk in the truth they destroy themselves. Like Saul, the king before David, and Judas, the disciple of Jesus, did. Both King Saul and Judas knew the truth and even acknowledged it at times that they were in the wrong and had done wrong, but they just kept going their own way even though My Way was clearly there for them to follow. They did not repent. When you repent you return to Me with joy and change your ways to follow My good ways and all is forgiven by the blood of the Lamb and I restore the years the devil stole by your doing his will. My paths drip with abundance of peace and joy. But remorse just means you detest what you are doing if you get caught but you do not change. It is like giving a pig a bath and then it goes and jumps back in the mire.
Nothing pleases Me more than seeing My children walking in the truth. I love to reward you and see you prosper and be in good health. But that comes when your soul (your mind, will, and emotions) prospers by walking in the truth, that is, being controlled by your spirit where I dwell and speak to you rather than the world, the flesh and the devil.
The wise control their thoughts, the fool does not, he lets his thoughts and words run wild and lead him into places and things he never should have touched. Wisdom is to hate evil. It is to stay away from evil in your thoughts, words, sight, hearing, speaking, doing, knowing, joining, and befriending. My eyes are too pure to look upon sin and so are yours. I made your eyes.
Your eyes are too pure to approve evil, and You cannot look on wickedness. Habakkuk 1:13.
Jesus is pure. Keep your eyes on Him, and He is My Word, and you too will keep yourself pure.
It is very simple, not complicated, come and let us judge together and even if your sins are red as scarlet I can wash you clean and white as pure snow if you are willing and obey My Words. Receive the gift of My Son and with Him as your Lord and your Lamb of sacrifice, your burnt offering, grain offering, peace offering, sin offering and guilt offering, and you will reign in life through Him, now in this life and in the life to come. You can be filled with My fullness for in Christ I make you complete, lacking in nothing.
The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear Him, and rescues them. O taste and see that the LORD is good; how blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him! O fear the LORD, you His saints; for to those who fear Him there is no want. The young lions do lack and suffer hunger; but they who seek the LORD shall not be in want of any good thing. Psalm 34:7-10.
What is the “fear of the LORD?” It is being aware of Me at all times, that I am present with you wherever you are or go, that nothing you think, say, or do is hidden from Me. When people steal, murder, or lie they do it because they think they can hide what they are doing from people and get away “free.” But these people have no fear of Me, if they did, they would not do those things for I am right there with them. I know when you sit and when you stand. I know your thoughts from afar and before a word is on your tongue I know the whole of it. Do not do things before Me that will destroy you and others. That is foolish if you value your life. If you just stop thinking about those things and looking at them, feeding your anger and your wrong desires, and cast that care on Me and let Me deliver and prosper you all would work together for your good and you would truly be free to live the prosperous life. Those who fear Me love Me, trust Me, and have a desire to please Me. They submit to My Word as carrying more weight than their own, and draw on My wisdom instead of just their own understanding.
Come, you children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD. Who is the man who desires life and loves length of days that he may see good? Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking deceit. Depart from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it. The eyes of the LORD are toward the righteous and His ears are open to their cry. The face of the LORD is against evildoers, to cut off the memory of them from the earth. Psalm 34:11-16.
If you know My Word, and even those who have never read it know when the are doing wrong by their conscience, and yet you despise it and refuse and rebel to do evil, you will ultimately be destroyed by your own thoughts, words, and actions. Your words will destroy you. Death and life are in the power of your tongue, and you will eat the fruit of your lips. Proverbs 18:21.
The one who despises the word will be in debt to it, but the one who fears the commandment will be rewarded. Proverbs 13:13.
You see? You determine your reward or your debt by how you respond to My Word.
Do you remember in the prayer Jesus taught His disciples the line, “forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors?” When you despise My Word you do not keep it but ignore it and do the opposite. This puts you into debt to Me, for the wages of sin is death unless you can pay for it to be removed. That confirms the judgment upon all mankind through Adam with your own lawlessness. But in Jesus I have put all your sin debt, judgment debtors that you are, on Christ and He paid the debt (the judgment) in full with His eternal blood for all time and eternity. How did He do that? He nailed it to the Cross and canceled it as paid in full.
When you were dead in your transgressions and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made you alive together with Him, having forgiven us all our transgressions, having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. When He had disarmed the rulers and authorities, He made a public display of them, having triumphed over them through Him. Colossians 2:13-15.
You died to sin in Christ and you are raised up born again from above and seated above with Christ. I was in Christ reconciling the world to Myself that ALL who believe in Him will not perish but have eternal life. I made Him who knew no sin to be sin on your behalf so you could receive My righteousness as your own! Jesus canceled as paid in full the judgment for every idle word you have spoken, which was hostile to you, and has taken it out of the way by paying Me in full so your wages are no longer death but those of the righteous.
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23.
What do you do with all this to apply it so you can have the best life now and forever, for that is My Will for your life. If you are willing and obey, I reason with you, you will have the best of the land.
Watch yourselves, that you do not lose what we have accomplished, but that you may receive a full reward. 2 John 1:8.
Watch yourself. Guard your heart. Remember nothing is secret, all is bare to Me to whom you must render an account. Make your account one I can reward you for. Every moment of every day, your thoughts, words, and actions are either adding to your heavenly account in the matter of giving and receiving or they are putting you in debt and destroying all I have accomplished in and for you.
Again, people, including believers, lie, cheat, steal, and do immoral acts thinking no one knows but the only One who really matters for your life now and forever knows. Live conscious of My presence and store My Word in your heart by watching your thoughts and what you look at and keep in your mind and you will not sin. Like Joseph. I was with him and he was not about doint evil in My sight for the fleeting excitement of sin, revenge, or immoral activities and I had not written down the ten commandments, yet when he dealt with the temptation of Potiphar’s wife. But he told her he would not do that in My sight. But she thought no one saw. There is a big difference between those who are aware of Me and have tasted My goodness and those that have despised Me and turned to idols. Just as Joseph did, run out of their presence into the light of the truth before they pull you into the darkness with them.
Depart, depart, go out from there, touch nothing unclean; go out of the midst of her, purify yourselves, you who carry (who are) the vessels of the LORD. But you will not go out in haste, nor will you go as fugitives; for the LORD will go before you, and the God of Israel (of deliverance and redemption) will be your rear guard. Isaiah 52:11-12.
I love you. Do everything with Me and you will not sin because I cannot sin. Do not grieve My Holy Spirit that I have poured into your heart by going against His leading. Be willing and obey and I will protect you, increase you, and be able to give you amazing deeds of excellence to do. It is all about being faithful in the little things each day that will promote you to greater. If I cannot trust you to control your thoughts and words with the help of My Word and My Spirit in the affairs of everyday life, I cannot trust you with My secrets or My Covenant, for like Adam, you will betray Me and go with another “god”, the one of this world.
Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness. You know that He appeared in order to take away sins; and in Him there is no sin. No one who abides in Him sins; no one who sins has seen Him or knows Him. 1 John 3:4-6.
See how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we would be called children of God; and such we are. For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is. And everyone who has this hope fixed on Him purifies himself, just as He is pure. 1 John 3:1-3.
