“I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser.” John 15:1.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
Many people are seeking things from Me, whether it be knowing My Will for their lives, obtaining healing, obtaining finances, getting a home or appropriate place to live, finding the right job or school or vocation, finding a loving and good spouse, and a host of other things, even computers, cell phones, jewelry or other personal items. And today I am going to give you the way in three steps that you can find and know all those things and more.
The next verse we are looking at, and indeed it is a complete chapter, is the image of Jesus as the Vine and you as the branches and I am the overseer of the whole operation and enterprise.
“I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it so that it may bear more fruit. You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.” John 15:1-5.
Here we are going back to the beginning. I blessed all mankind and gave you an empowerment and command to be fruitful, to bear much fruit. We have an enterprise, a Kingdom business on earth, to produce a fruitful and lovely place for your home that blesses you and every person on earth. I did not make the earth to be a waste place, but a garden of Eden filled with the light and love of My family in My own image and according to My likeness. You are formed to be like Me. There was to be no lack—no one missing, no one broken, and no one alone. And that is shalom which has been My plan for you from everlasting to everlasting. And you are not to do it alone. I am your source. All you need and much more is in Me.
For thus says the LORD, who created the heavens (He is the God who formed the earth and made it, He established it and did not create it a waste place, but formed it to be inhabited), “I am the LORD, and there is none else.” Isaiah 45:18.
And what do I tell you about Me as that passage continues?
And there is no other God besides Me, a righteous God and a Savior; there is none except Me. Turn to Me and be saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other.” Isaiah 45:21-22.
Turn to Me and be saved. It is all about turning, it is all about what you are seeking. Seek Me first and all else is added. And that is what the vine and the branches is about. A relationship of provision that produces fruit that endures. A fruitful partnership of fellowship, a Covenant relationship, between Me and you, the branch and the vine intertwined in love divine.
As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.” John 15:4-5.
Today I want to address this question: How do you find what you are seeking?
Let us start with My Will in any given situation. There are those of you that have been asking Me to show you My Will for your lives, and you feel you have never really found it, and are getting frustrated. And it is the same with healing, provision, and a host of other things. Do not give up. You are just headed in the wrong direction, but the answer has been there all the time.
Know this to begin, I am a God who is near to you. I fill the heavens and the earth. When you seek Me with all your heart you will find Me right there with you. And when you seek Me, I let Myself be found by you. Jeremiah 23:23-24; Jeremiah 29:12-13.
What you do first when you are seeking to find or obtain something from Me is draw close to Me and I will draw close to you. James 4:8. Like the vine and the branches, you need a relationship in which you and I can both participate.
How do you draw near? You open the door of your heart to Me.
Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me. Revelation 3:20.
You open your life to Me and listen to My voice in My Word as you read, hear, meditate, speak and do My Word as it is written in the Bible and the more you get full of My Word the more yu begin to hear the voice behind it. My sheep hear My voice, I know them and they know Me, and they follow My voice, not the voice of a stranger.
So once you have opened your heart to Me through Jesus as your Lord and Savior, freed from sin and made My royal priesthood, what do you do next to find the answers and things you are seeking?
You must be committed to do what I tell you or it is no use for Me to tell you if it would only cause you to resist and disobey. You have to be like the waiters at the marriage feast that at the direction of Mary to do whatever Jesus told them, they followed His words and filled the waterpots with water and dipped in and took it to the waiter in charge, but it was no longer water but the wine they had been seeking. Or like the widow that I spoke to and sent Elijah to her. She listened to Me and gave him her and her son’s last meal before the supplies ran out and by that obedience the impossible happened and the oil and flour did not run out for over a year. Humble yourself under My mighty hand by casting all you cares on Me with faith and know I will answer and direct you, but when you know it is your answer, you must be committed to go forward. Like faithful Abraham. He was always ready the minute I called his name.
Now you have opened your heart to Me and drawn close, you have decided to commit yourself to whatever action or place I direct you to, and yet you still don’t see the result. Now is the time to pray in the Spirit, yes, in tongues and ask for the understanding (interpretation) as well.
In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words; and He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. Romans 8:26-27.
And what is the result of praying the spirit and in the understanding?
And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28.
And do you know what all this will tell you?
IT IS NOT MY WILL YOU WANT SO MUCH BUT ME. Seek Me and you will find all. You are afraid of missing Me. But I am right there with you when you seek Me with all your heart. I will be found by you. Eternal life is to know Me, the one true God, and the One I sent, Jesus Christ, your Lord. John 17:3.
If a person is only seeking healing, they will not obtain it because it is in Me and they will only have it if they have Me.
If you are seeking only to know My Will you will not obtain it because it is in Me and you will only live it is you have Me as your life.
It is the same with running after things you need for food, clothing and shelter, if you seek those alone, you will not obtain them as you desire because they are all abundantly supplied in My Kingdom so to have those things you must have the Kingdom.
Do not worry then, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear for clothing?’ For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Matthew 6:31-33.
How do you seek Me?
Seek the LORD while He may be found; call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to the LORD, and He will have compassion on him, and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon. “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,” declares the LORD. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return there without watering the earth and making it bear and sprout, and furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater; so will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; it will not return to Me empty, without accomplishing what I desire, and without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it. For you will go out with joy and be led forth with peace; the mountains and the hills will break forth into shouts of joy before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands. Instead of the thorn bush the cypress will come up, and instead of the nettle the myrtle will come up, and it will be a memorial to the LORD, for an everlasting sign which will not be cut off.” Isaiah 55:6-13.
It is all about coming to Me and learning My thoughts and My ways until you can return them to Me and it is then they will accomplish that for which I sent them, whether it be direction, healing, prosperity, or whatever else is the need of the moment. It is all there for you in Me. And this will put My joy in you so that your joy is full and this will put My peace in you so that your heart is never troubled or afraid because you know Me and that it has pleased Me to give you the Kingdom. You who are with Me always, everything I have is yours.
I love you. It is not just about needs met, it is about knowing the source, so they are all already met. You can draw all you need out of Me when you have Me.
The righteous man will flourish like the palm tree, he will grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Planted in the house of the LORD, they will flourish in the courts of our God. They will still yield fruit in old age; they shall be full of sap and very green, to declare that the LORD is upright; He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him. Psalm 92:12-15.
