“If I had not done among them the works which no one else did, they would not have sin; but now they have both seen and hated Me and My Father as well. But they have done this to fulfill the word that is written in their Law, ‘They hated Me without a cause.’”  John 15:24-25.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

If things are going wrong and contrary to My Word in your life, instead of hating Me, check your heart. Love Me and I can heal you. When things happen that you rebuked, it is time to repent. What do I mean by that? Not repent that you rebuked them, that is the correct thing to do as Jesus did with fevers, storms, and unclean spirits. I mean look for the door you opened because a curse cannot alight without a cause. I am no respecter of persons, if you persist in doing what I have told you and warned you not to do, I must withdraw My protection or I am not a just God. Any parent knows that if you have told and told your child not to do something and they keep on doing it, no matter how much they say they love you, you do not just permit it because of their status as your child, in fact because of their status as your child, it is your duty to stop them before they end in self-destruction.

But to the wicked God says, “What right have you to tell of My statutes and to take My covenant in your mouth? For you hate discipline, and you cast My words behind you. When you see a thief, you are pleased with him, and you associate with adulterers. You let your mouth loose in evil and your tongue frames deceit. You sit and speak against your brother; you slander your own mother’s son. These things you have done and I kept silence; you thought that I was just like you; I will reprove you and state the case in order before your eyes.” Psalm 50:16-21.

When My people Israel, after Solomon’s apostasy broke into two kingdoms, the northern and the southern ones, under the leadership of the tribes of Ephraim and Dan, the northern kingdom, which encompassed ten tribes, worshipped idols (gold calves and other gods such as Baal) and set the altars up in Dan and Samaria. I sent Elijah, Elisha, Amos, and Hosea to warn and warn them for over 200 years but they persisted in idol worship and refused to listen to Me. I finally saw nothing was going to change and judgment was made and My protection withdrawn. They were conquered by the pagan nation of Assyria whom they had become just like in their rejection of Me and perverted practices that harmed families and children already. It was at that point the cup was full, they had gone to far and refused to repent, and there was nothing I could do to change them. And you will note that the tribes of Dan and Ephraim are not in the group of the saved tribes in the book of Revelation.

But you will also note that individual cases are treated as such and that is justice too. The Samaritan woman by the well was of the lost tribes and Assyrian background but she still knew of the promised Messiah, and she found Him because I reached out to a heart that was looking for Me. And remember Rehab the harlot (no longer that for sure) and Ruth the Moabite (no longer of that nation of idol worshippers), even though they should not have married believing men (do not join yourselves with unbelievers) they had become believers with all their hearts and crossed the barrier with My blessing. They followed My plan for their lives and became entwined in the line of the Messiah according to the flesh.

As Peter told Cornelius by My instruction after the heavenly vision, I am not respecter of persons. I go across denominational, national, international, and every line mankind has drawn to seek out and save those who are seeking Me within the longing of their hearts and acting uprightly in what they know. But the same is true the other way, a believer or unbeliever who acts unjustly and against what I have commanded, directed and expected of them by the knowledge they have or could have, who repeatedly refuse to repent, I must judge honestly and fairly or I am unjust in punishing the wicked and favoring others doing the same things.

Now look at the Words of Jesus at the Last Supper we are considering today:

“If I had not done among them the works which no one else did, they would not have sin; but now they have both seen and hated Me and My Father as well. But they have done this to fulfill the word that is written in their Law, ‘They hated Me without a cause.’”  John 15:24-25.

Jesus told you that He and I are One, John 10:30 and in seeing Him you see Me. John 14:9. And yet when He told the Jews that they picked up stones to stone Him. John 10:31. His response to that was, “I showed you many good works from the Father, for which of them are you stoning Me?” John 10:32.

When you hate Me and blame Me for evil you are hating Me without cause. Why? Because I can only do good. Evil is foreign to Me and does not enter Me. I am love and I think in love, walk in love, talk in love, and walk in love. Evil cannot enter My Kingdom, it is foreign to it and has no place there. Evil is eradicated and falls before My glory. Darkness cannot stand in the light and I am Light. Life is in Me, in the Light, the Light of Life, and darkness only brings death. When you practice sin, that is, continually live contrary to My Words of life, you do evil and that takes you out of My Kingdom and puts you under the realm of darkness. You are no longer in the protection and benefits of My jurisdiction. You have no protection from the destroyer for you have opened the door of your life to him.

But the good news is that you can repent and accept My Salvation. I took all the evil of sin and accounted it to the eternal flesh of Jesus and in Him I accounted to you My righteousness. He took the evil and gave you the good. He emptied Himself and became poor before Me so that by grace you could be made rich with all the riches in Him that He gave willingly to you.

But even when you are saved, I cannot be a good Father and condone your disobedience. And when you hate Me due to the things that come upon you by your disobedience you are really hating yourself for what you are and have done. You hate the consequences of your disobedience of which you were warned.

Like disobedient children who hate the parent for enforcing a standard they must adhere to and honor in the home are many of My believers. Do not be deceived, when I tell you not to do or to do something I do it as a good Father who loves you and wants only the best life for you here and forever. I am training you in the way you should go to profit and to prosper. If you persist in sin and wrongdoing there are consequences but if you repent and return they can be removed and healed.

Adam totally disobeyed what I had told him to do but he blamed Me for his disobedience though I had been quite clear with him that there was only one thing he was not to do or he would have eternal (the double) death.

The man said, “The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me from the tree, and I ate.” Genesis 3:12.

And yet I would have forgiven him if he had taken responsibility and repented. That is why I questioned him about why he was hiding from Me. But he would not admit it until I confronted him with it and then he blamed Me and his wife.

Adam characterized his disobedience and consequences as My injustice to him and so did Job and so have many others, but those who repent know a different story. As Job did when he repented and retracted what he had said. He was rewarded with a double portion for all the devil had stolen.

How blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered! How blessed is the man to whom the LORD does not impute iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no deceit! When I kept silent about my sin, my body wasted away through my groaning all day long. For day and night Your hand was heavy upon me; my vitality was drained away as with the fever heat of summer. Selah. I acknowledged my sin to You, and my iniquity I did not hide; I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the LORD”; and You forgave the guilt of my sin. Selah. Therefore, let everyone who is godly pray to You in a time when You may be found; surely in a flood of great waters they will not reach him. You are my hiding place; You preserve me from trouble; You surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah. Psalm 32:1-7.

Each morning My mercies are new.

This I recall to my mind, therefore I have hope. The LORD’s lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. “The LORD is my portion,” says my soul, “Therefore I have hope in Him.”  The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, to the person who seeks Him.  Lamentations 3:21-26.

I have no pleasure in an unrepentant sinner or in the death of the wicked, that is NOT My plan for you. Any good parent knows that discipline is necessary, but it is hard to administer.

For He does not afflict willingly or grieve the sons of men. Lamentations 3:33.

I am present as your Helper do not push Me away from you. Come to Me and be saved. Come with confidence to My throne of grace with your High Priest Jesus and receive MERCY and find GRACE right when you need it. Walk in the light and be open with Me when you sin and I can continually cleanse you in the blood of Jesus.

There is the antichrist in the world. You can see that. Those who have hostility and hatred for Jesus, the One who came to serve and save you, are very much mistaken. In seeing Him you are seeing Me, you are seeing a God of compassion, mercy, redemption, and favor.

Thus says the LORD, the Redeemer of Israel and its Holy One, to the despised One, to the One abhorred by the nation, to the Servant of rulers, Kings will see and arise, princes will also bow down, because of the LORD who is faithful, the Holy One of Israel who has chosen You.” Thus says the LORD, “In a favorable time I have answered You, and in a day of salvation I have helped You; and I will keep You and give You for a covenant of the people, to restore the land, to make them inherit the desolate heritages; saying to those who are bound, ‘Go forth,’ to those who are in darkness, ‘Show yourselves.’ Along the roads they will feed, and their pasture will be on all bare heights. They will not hunger or thirst, nor will the scorching heat or sun strike them down; for He who has compassion on them will lead them and will guide them to springs of water. Isaiah 49:7-10.

Sound familiar?

“These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. For this reason, they are before the throne of God; and they serve Him day and night in His temple; and He who sits on the throne will spread His tabernacle over them. They will hunger no longer, nor thirst anymore; nor will the sun beat down on them, nor any heat; for the Lamb in the center of the throne will be their shepherd, and will guide them to springs of the water of life; and God will wipe every tear from their eyes.” Revelation 7: 14-17.

Discipline is never pleasant. It is better if you judge and correct yourself and that is what repentance is all about.

You have not yet resisted to the point of shedding blood in your striving against sin; and you have forgotten the exhortation which is addressed to you as sons, “My son, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord, nor faint when you are reproved by Him; for those whom the Lord loves He disciplines, and He scourges every son whom He receives.” It is for discipline that you endure; God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom his father does not discipline? But if you are without discipline, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate children and not sons. Furthermore, we had earthly fathers to discipline us, and we respected them; shall we not much rather be subject to the Father of spirits, and live? For they disciplined us for a short time as seemed best to them, but He disciplines us for our good, so that we may share His holiness. All discipline for the moment seems not to be joyful, but sorrowful; yet to those who have been trained by it, afterwards it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness. Therefore, strengthen the hands that are weak and the knees that are feeble, and make straight paths for your feet, so that the limb which is lame may not be put out of joint, but rather be healed. Pursue peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no one will see the Lord. See to it that no one comes short of the grace of God; that no root of bitterness springing up causes trouble, and by it many be defiled; that there be no immoral or godless person like Esau, who sold his own birthright for a single meal. For you know that even afterwards, when he desired to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no place for repentance, though he sought for it with tears. Hebrews 12:4-17.

Why not now examine yourself, like David, and repent of anything you see that you need to correct and ask Me to help you.

Therefore whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner, shall be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord. But a man must examine himself, and in so doing he is to eat of the bread and drink of the cup. For he who eats and drinks, eats and drinks judgment to himself if he does not judge the body rightly. For this reason many among you are weak and sick, and a number sleep. But if we judged ourselves rightly, we would not be judged. But when we are judged, we are disciplined by the Lord so that we will not be condemned along with the world. 1 Corinthians 11:27-32.

Unless you repent you will perish.

Now on the same occasion there were some present who reported to Him about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices. And Jesus said to them, “Do you suppose that these Galileans were greater sinners than all other Galileans because they suffered this fate? I tell you, no, but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish. Or do you suppose that those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them were worse culprits than all the men who live in Jerusalem? I tell you, no, but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.” And He began telling this parable: “A man had a fig tree which had been planted in his vineyard; and he came looking for fruit on it and did not find any. And he said to the vineyard-keeper, ‘Behold, for three years I have come looking for fruit on this fig tree without finding any. Cut it down! Why does it even use up the ground?’ And he answered and said to him, ‘Let it alone, sir, for this year too, until I dig around it and put in fertilizer; and if it bears fruit next year, fine; but if not, cut it down.’” Luke 13:1-9.

Repent, return, rejoice, and I will restore.

“I have wiped out your transgressions like a thick cloud and your sins like a heavy mist. Return (repent) to Me, for I have redeemed you.” Isaiah 44:22.

I love you. Come and let us judge together for though your sins are red as crimson, I can make them white as snow, if you are willing and obey you will have the good of the land. If you would only listen and obey your prosperity would flow like a river and I would have great joy in doing good to you and showering you with blessings now and forever. You know from watching Jesus and Me that My idea for life is a continual feast but you would not.
