I will cause Your Name to be remembered in all generations; therefore the peoples will give You thanks forever and ever. Psalm 45:17.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

Your joy and your future now and forever all has to do with what you remember. If you dwell on the mistakes, failures, darkness and evil in your past whether from your own conduct or that of another, you will never be free to go forward to the hope of My calling for your life. It is time you replaced the memory and wiped out the sin and the darkness, the evil, the shame, the bitterness, and the resentment by remembering what I have done for you in Jesus to take that all away—off you onto Him.

Depart, depart, go out from there, touch nothing unclean! Go out of the midst of her, purify yourselves, you who are the vessels of the LORD. But you will not go out in haste, nor will you go as fugitives; for the LORD will go before you, and the God of Israel will be your rear guard. Isaiah 52:11-12.

I have rewritten your past in Him as if sin had never been. I have given you Jesus that you might live your life through, in, and with Him. Let go of everything but Him. Keep your eyes on Jesus and you will finish strong!

By this the love of God was manifested in us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world so that we might live through Him. 1 John 4:9.

Your past is now Jesus, your present is Jesus, and your future is Jesus. I can do that when you are in Christ, I can turn all your wasted places into a garden of Eden. And He is perfect and as He is so are you in this world.

I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me. Galatians 2:20.

Forgive and forget what is past (and that applies to every day) as I forgive you—by remembering Jesus. That is how I have forgiven you and freed you from all that would keep us apart. It is gone as if sin had never been.

Understand this, and you see the shadow and type of it in the high priest of the Old Covenant going behind the veil and sprinkling the blood on the mercy seat (propitiatory) that was the solid gold lid covering the ark of the covenant. Below the lid was the stone tablets with the ten commandments. With the blood upon the mercy seat (propitiatory) however I could not see the commandments all I could see was the blood of the lamb making propitiation for the sins of the people resting upon the solid gold of the propitiatory. Gold represents My righteousness, divine righteousness, so the blood made you righteous before Me.

He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. 2 Corinthians 5:21.

I could not see the Commandments you broke but only the blood that made the propitiation and gave you My own righteousness.

In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 1 John 4: 10.

I replaced the memory of your sins and breaking of My commandments with the remembrance of the blood of Jesus. And that is what I want you to remember as well. And Jesus commanded you to do so:

In the same way He took the cup also after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood; do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.” For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes. 1 Corinthians 11:25-26.

And that is continuously before Me. Jesus forever lives to make intercession for you. What is intercession? When you have sinned, He reminds Me of His eternal blood upon the mercy seat in Heaven and that is all I remember.

Therefore He is able also to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them. Hebrews 7:25.

Forget the darkness by remembering the Light of the world.

Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, “I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.” John 8:12.

Repent, return, rejoice, and I will restore to you the gift of righteousness and give you refreshment in Jesus your Savior, your Messiah and Lord, designated for you before the foundation of the world. Do not let your past, present or future torment you, just remember Jesus and replace the other memories and worries. I am the God who is, who was and who is to come.

The things which God announced beforehand by the mouth of all the prophets, that His Christ would suffer, He has thus fulfilled. Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord; and that He may send Jesus, the Messiah (Christ) appointed for you, whom heaven must receive until the period of restoration of all things about which God spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets from ancient time. Acts 3:18-21.

Forget your people and your father’s house—your ungodly family, your wasted years, the abuse and futile ways of your siblings (as Joseph had to do about his brothers), the entrapment, the insults, and anything else that drags you back into the darkness, anger, and negative emotions and thoughts, and replace it with a new memory: Jesus, your new bloodline, your new name, and then you can go forward to finish well. Replace the memory with what I have done, am doing, and will do for you in Jesus. Forget your sins by remembering Him. That is what I do.

Listen, O daughter, give attention and incline your ear: Forget your people and your father’s house; then the King will desire your beauty. Because He is your Lord (Adonai), bow down to Him. Psalm 45:10-11.

The Sun (Son) of righteousness has risen with healing in His rays and you will go forth and skip about like calves from the stall. Malachi 4:2.

Because of the tender mercy of our God, with which the Sunrise from on high will visit us, to shine upon those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace. Luke 1:78-79.

Replace the memory that is pulling you back into the darkness of anger and depression with the joy of the memory of what you have in Jesus. Love your gift of righteousness in Him. For He is your High Priest and has released you from your sins and made you a kingdom, priests unto Me. And you are anointed with the same anointing because the anointing on the Head runs down on the whole body.

Do you know what with what I anointed Christ? With the oil of joy.

You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of joy above Your fellows. Psalm 45:7; Hebrews 1:9.

Jesus, Yeshuah, Salvation. Joy is yours in Him, a joy no one and nothing, not ever memories from the past, can take from you because you can replace them with My gift to you of Jesus.

I make you and your life beautiful in Jesus.

For the LORD takes pleasure in His people; He will beautify the afflicted ones with Salvation (Yeshuah, Jesus’ Name in Hebrew). Psalm 149:4.

I have made you a bright light shining in a dark world in Him. In Him all is new.

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. 2 Corinthians 5:17.

I was in Christ reconciling the world to Myself, not counting your trespasses against you, and I have committed to you who believe the word of reconciliation.

It will be told of the Lord (Adonai) to the coming generation. They will come and will declare His righteousness to a people who will be born, that He has performed it. Psalm 22:30-31.

Never forget what I have done for you in Christ. Make that what you remember. Forget what lies behind and remember His righteousness and His Name, the Name by which you are saved. Stop looking at yourself in your sins and pitiful past, look at yourself in Christ and see yourself as He is—sinless, beautiful, and always doing what pleases Me.

Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:1-2.

The joy is not in who you are but who He is and who you are in Him. Forget your background and make it His—seated in heavenly places with Him blessed by every spiritual blessing in Heaven.

“Remember not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:18-19.

You have a heavenly calling, don’t keep considering over and over again the evils of the past, instead consider Jesus, the High Priest of your confession (homologia, that is, speaking the same words in agreement with Him), and agree with Him that your past is forgiven, over, and gone. It is time to step up out of that miry pit and sing a new song! Remember Him! Consider Him!

But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:13-14.

I love you. Forgive as I have forgiven you and the way I forgave you was by remembering Jesus and how I reconciled the world to Myself without counting your sins and trespasses against you in Him. I put them all on Jesus and on Him we took care of them. You are free. I have told  you what to remember (Psalm 103:1-5; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26) and what not to remember (Isaiah 43:18-19; Hebrews 10:17), you will be so much happier if you just obey. Isaiah 1:18-19. Remember Lot’s wife.

Jesus said to him, “No one who puts his hand to the plow and then looks back is fit for the kingdom of God.” Luke 9:62
