July Meeting! July 14, 2019! Come experience Kingdom living!

May the love of God our Father, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you! A beautiful summer filled with the goodness of our God who is Everlasting Love!

 

Our July meeting is on July 14, 2019 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm in the lovely St. Damien House at St. Anthony Retreat Center, 3351 Kalihi Street, Honolulu, Hawaii 96819. This room is beautiful, a retreat among the trees and the stream that flows by. I so enjoyed our June meeting there. We started with Israeli folk dancing and praising the Lord with such joy! It is so wonderful to spend time together with the LORD– in His Word which is Spirit and Life. The sweetness of that meeting changed my life, I got a new heart filled with His love and His joy, giving me a peace beyond all understanding and such enthusiasm for each day. I watch in awe as He makes all things work together for good in my life no matter what storms Satan raises to test my precious faith. And it is the same for each one of you.

Come before Him willing to do whatever assignment He has for you and give Him your heart. And a wonderful exchange takes place, He takes out your stony heart and gives you His living heart filled with His love and His joy– a joy no one and nothing can take from you.

 

We are on assignment as His royal priesthood and the Body of Christ. Nothing we do for Him is too small in His eyes to give Him honor and praise, and yet I know that nothing is big enough to praise and honor such a magnificent loving awesome God as He is! In Him is everything good and it is all “yes” to us in Jesus.

 

Let your heart be like His heart, or better yet, give Him your willing heart and He will give you His heart filled with love and joy that surpasses all understanding. And He gives you, like Jesus, a servant’s heart to all the people He sends into your life, whether it be family members going through physical and/or emotional problems who need your care and support, or the people you meet each day as your neighbors, fellow shoppers at the market, those walking around you on the sidewalks and pausing at stop signals, and even those sprawled on the sidewalks as the carnage the devil has left when they went under his lordship and were taken captive to do his will. The wages of sin is death, this is a spiritual law,  like the law of gravity is a physical law, and if you put it to work it will destroy your life. Think of that next time you have offended, angry, bitter speech or thoughts or behave in rude, judgmental and unforgiving ways! You have put a law in motion in your body that will kill your dreams and destroy your destiny. But we have good news! God saves! He has given us the Law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus which reverses the law of sin and death and redeems us from the curse of that law! How blessed we are to know Jesus and God’s gift of righteousness and eternal life in Him! How BLESSED we are. And as our knowledge of Him and His Kingdom and how to operate in it increases, the more fruitful and joyful we become.

If you don’t know our mission go to our website and read about it at http://maranathaministrieshawaii.org/the-mission/, but it is essentially to share the good news so people are saved and come to know the truth (and the truth will set them FREE), seek out the lost, and be involved in media to promote the Gospel.

We are still looking for singers, actors, dancers, and anyone who wants to be involved to fill the parts in our new musical play, “Hosea – Everlasting Love” for our January conference. If you are interested in being a main part or in the choir, or in the dance or music (instrumental) team, please let me know. We will be beginning rehearsals soon. If you want to read the script, let me know and I will send you a copy in pdf format.

 

We will be resuming our TV Show “Good News for You,” so anyone interested to join me in that, we film at Mapunapuna Olelo mini studio twice a month..

 

We started personal evangelism training at our July meeting and will continue with it so that all of us will learn to witness and lead people to salvation as we go about our usual errands, no special out of the way times set aside but every day all day. For example, this week, I went to work and took my sister to the doctor and shopped for some things (plus talked with customer representatives on the phone) and by the end of the day I realized I had shared the good news and prayed with 25 people, leading them to open their hearts to receive Christ. It does not take long, just a short conversation filled with God’s love. Anne and I were out together on errands today and shared with and prayed the prayer of salvation with people who came into our path and it is amazing to see God’s love in action reconciling the world to Himself in Christ, not counting their sins against them, and sending us, as the Body of Christ on earth, as ambassadors of reconciliation. He has entrusted to us the ministry of reconciliation, to bring the world into His everlasting Covenant of love.

 

So let me know, or tell me at our next meeting if you would like to be more involved in the work of the ministry. In Christ we are a new creation, the old things have passed away, and behold! all things are made new. Walk in newness of life and don’t return to slavery to sin and death a second time.

 

Just a short update, we still rent and pay all utilities for our ministry apartment for those who are without a home and without sufficient resources. We are studying and praying together with our two residents– learning about THE BLESSING and financial stewardship so God can teach us to prosper and lead us in the way we should go. I am happy to report that both of our residents are working now, one finished her rehab program and is drug free and has been hired to work in the program from which she graduated, so now she is ministering to others, and they are going from glory to glory! Thank you to all who donate towards this wonderful saving work so we can provide this beautiful secure apartment to give a new life to those whom we serve. We would like to rent another one soon– and even have our own property to provide a home and training for many more. So many need a place, but more than that, they need Jesus and to learn to operate in the Kingdom system and not the world system. And that is what we are about– preaching the good news so all people can be saved and come to know the truth, living the beautiful life God prepared for them in advance that they might enjoy it.
