Unless the LORD builds the house, they labor in vain who build it. Psalm 127:1.

For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus. Philippians 1:6.

The LORD also declares to you that the LORD will make a house for you. 2 Samuel 7:11.

For we know that if our earthly tent which is now our house is torn down, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. 2 Corinthians 5:1.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:

I am the Master Builder. Unless I build the house, they labor in vain who build it. Without Me you can do nothing.

Put down the foundation of My Word and let Me build your house. The house in which you dwell and it will continue on to become your heavenly habitation. You are all involved every day in a building project, from the moment I created you in your mother’s womb the blueprint for your life was there, all written out beforehand. Indeed, no Master Builder would build without a plan, without the blueprint in place. And it all starts on a deep and solid foundation, for the foundation determines the strength, soundness, and durability of the building. You don’t see the foundation of a building, but when a storm or shifting of the earth hits, you know whether it is there. It makes all the difference.

So if you begin to read, meditate, value, speak, and put My Word in first place in your heart, you are laying a foundation that is unshakeable and eternal. And when you put Christ Jesus (My Word made flesh and I speak to you through Him) as the cornerstone, the building will be in perfect dimension and balance. The cornerstone is the first stone set in the construction of a masonry foundation. All other stones will be set in reference to this stone, thus determining the position of the entire structure. The angle of the cornerstone must be precise, and it determined all of the subsequent lines and other angles of the building. It was a standard for the bearing of the beams and walls in the construction of the entire building.

Unless I build the house, you labor in vain. I told David that I Myself would build (make, create) a house for him and it would be forever. I say the same to you. The edifice of your life is eternal. Every moment counts in your building project, every moment you are building. Let it be the masterpiece I planned it to be. Build with Me as a fellow worker. Paul called himself “God’s fellow worker,” 1 Corinthians 3:9. For you are My workmanship created in Christ Jesus for good works, which I prepared beforehand so you could live in them. Ephesians 2:10. My servant Paul, filled with My Spirit, called himself a wise master builder: “For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s cultivation (tilled field), God’s building. According to the grace of God which was given to me, like a wise master builder I laid a foundation, and another is building on it.” 1 Corinthians 3:9. Make sure the foundation you are building on is the solid rock of My Word, with Christ Jesus as your cornerstone, rather than the shifting sand of worldly philosophies, rebellion, and godlessness. Once the foundation is laid, then you are building on it, and when storms and trials come, you will know immediately what foundation you have been building your life on by your response.  “By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; and by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches.” Proverbs 24:3-4. I have made Jesus to be wisdom for you and given you the mind of Christ. Build with Him. Imitate Him. Learn from Him. He made every minute of His life count. He was very focused on His assignment and was always about Kingdom business.

You are running the building project of your life, and those you listen to and learn from are building with you also, be careful who you listen to and what you take into your heart. It could cause you to destroy what has been built, “The wise woman builds her house, But the foolish tears it down with her own hands.” Proverbs 14:1. Each of you must be careful how you build in your life and what you are speaking into the lives of others. Do not tear people down, speak the truth in love and EDIFY them. “Let no unwholesome (rotten, worthless) word proceed from your mouth, but only such a word as is good for edification according to the need of the moment, so that it will give grace to those who hear.” Ephesians 4:29.

Be careful how you live. As believers you are building on the foundation of Jesus Christ from the day you are saved, you are constructing at every moment the edifice of your life on your foundation. If you build with gold, silver, and precious stones, you are building with the material of the Kingdom, for My streets are of spun gold and My walls of precious stones. And recall that these precious metals and jewels are the materials from which I had the Israelites make My dwelling place among them as they went through the wilderness to the Promised Land. And I gave them all the precious materials and the detailed plans, they had only to walk it out and build it.

But remember in the slavery of Egypt what they had built with? Straw, hay and stubble was what they worked with each day in making bricks to construct the pyramids and other buildings for the government under their taskmasters in hard toil. Exodus 5:12. And what did Joshua make the Gibeonites do as slaves of the Israelites? Hew wood for them. Joshua 9:27. Do not continue to build with the materials of slavery, for if you are building with the wood, hay, and straw of the world—that is anger, bitterness, malice, gossip, unforgiveness, greed, adultery, immorality, addictions, fear, offense, cruelty, obscenity, blasphemy, sloth and the like, your work will become evident; for the day will show it because it is to be revealed with fire, and the fire of Love itself will test the quality of each man’s work. If any man’s work which he has built remains, he will receive a reward. If any man’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss; but as a believer, he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire. 1 Corinthians 3:9-15. Do not waste your life in idle pursuits that have no Kingdom value. Be careful how you live, redeeming the time.

And do you really know the magnificence of what you are building? Do you not know that you are a temple (sanctuary, dwelling place) of My divine presence within you? You are My House and a gate of Heaven! My Spirit dwells in you. If anyone destroys My temple, I will destroy him, for My temple is holy, and that is what you are. 1 Corinthians 3:16-17. The wicked cut their lives short. “The fear of the Lord prolongs life, but the years of the wicked will be shortened.” Proverbs 10:27.

I framed the world with My Words. Frame your world with My Words. The frame of a house determines its size and its structure. You have a building to raise. Be careful how you build. Watch carefully what materials you are using and what construction workers you are hiring. Do you know to what I am referring? Your thoughts are your workers and your words are the materials that you are using to build your edifice. Why not use the wonderful Counselor and the workers I have put at your disposal? Love, joy, peace patience! I have not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love and self-control.

I Myself will build you a house. Let Me take over and build with gold, silver and precious gemstones. Let Me make your life beautiful, the most beautiful temple ever built. It will be more glorious than that of Solomon, for that temple was destroyed when the people abandoned Me for idols, it was earthly and corruptible, but when the earthly tent which houses your spirit and soul now is torn down, you have a building from Me, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. 2 Corinthians 5:1. And that is the edifice of your inner man which you are building every day of your life. And I will complete the good work I have begun in you right to the day that the Lord Jesus comes to take you home to your heavenly habitation in your glorified and immortal body. And the better you have built in this life, the grander and more radiant your edifice will be. Remember? I told you that. Not all rewards are the same. Believers are not judged with respect to condemnation, you are in the Lamb’s book of Life, but you who believe must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. 2 Corinthians 5:10. The good and faithful one who built with Me in love and helped others to build their lives that way will receive the greatest reward. Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever. Daniel 12:3. Some stars shine brighter than others. 1 Corinthians 15:41.

And what is one way to quick start your building project in the time you have on this earth as it is now? I tell you that the one who prays in tongues edifies himself. 1 Corinthians 14:4. Paul built his life well and many others learned to build well from him too, even to this day from his inspired letters, and he prayed in tongues more than any of you. 1 Corinthians 14:18. And he thanked me for that! And My servant Jude gives you a second witness on this, “But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting anxiously for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life.” Jude 1:20-21. Fan that gift into flame and get used to speaking and singing in the Spirit with tongues. And pray for understanding as you pray. I will give it to you. And I will show you how to build.

I love you. We are working on a building project, and if you let Me, I will build you a house and I will dwell in it with you. Remember? Jesus told you, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My Word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him.” John 14:23.  And when I build the house it looks like Heaven. It has delighted Me to give you the Kingdom. Keep My Word each day and without even realizing it, your abode is being built and framed by My Word. And My Word heals, delivers, prospers, and saves. Psalm 107:20; Proverbs 4:22; James 1:21.

So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of God’s household, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the corner stone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, is growing into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together into a dwelling of God in the Spirit. Ephesians 2:19-22.
