Now, we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God. 1 Corinthians 2:12
Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:
One of the things My Holy Spirit does for you is guide you to all truth. Do not ever worry that I will let you stay in error if your heart is towards Me. Like I did for Apollos with Priscilla and Aquila. Do you recall what happened? A Jewish convert named Apollos, an Alexandrian by birth, an eloquent man, came to Ephesus; and he was mighty in the Scriptures. This man had been instructed in the way of the Jesus; and being fervent in spirit, he was speaking and teaching accurately the things concerning Jesus, but he was acquainted only with the baptism of John. He began to speak out boldly in the synagogue. But when Priscilla and Aquila heard him, they took him aside and explained to him My way more accurately. And when he wanted to go across to Achaia, the brethren encouraged him and wrote to the disciples to welcome him; and when he had arrived, he greatly helped those who had believed through grace, for he powerfully refuted the Jews in public, demonstrating by the Scriptures that Jesus was the Christ. Acts 18:24-28. My Holy Spirit did not let him stay without all truth, especially since he had the zeal to preach to others about Jesus.
The apostle Paul, while still called Saul, had a heart devoted to Me but in error he thought Jesus was not the Messiah and that taking Him as Lord was a heresy. I did not let him stay in error. Jesus Himself appeared to him, but then by My Spirit I sent Ananias to explain the truth to Paul and to baptize him and get him filled with the Holy Spirit.
And do you remember the royal official from Ethiopia? Philip was preaching the good news of the Kingdom and the Name of Jesus in Samaria and many signs, wonders, and miracles were taking place. Acts 8:12. 26 But an angel of Mine spoke to Philip saying, “Get up and go south to the road that descends from Jerusalem to Gaza.” So he got up and went; and there was an Ethiopian eunuch, a court official of Candace, queen of the Ethiopians, who was in charge of all her treasure; and he had come to Jerusalem to worship (he had a heart for Me), and he was returning and sitting in his chariot, and was reading the prophet Isaiah. Then the Spirit said to Philip, “Go up and join this chariot.” Philip ran up and heard him reading Isaiah the prophet, and said, “Do you understand what you are reading?” And he said, “Well, how could I, unless someone guides me?” And he invited Philip to come up and sit with him. And Philip did and of course the Holy Spirit had the Ethiopian reading Isaiah 53, the foretelling of the exact passion and death of Jesus and explaining how He bore your sins, pains, and diseases. And what happened as a result? Philip led the Ethiopian to all truth and the Ethiopian took My Son as his Lord and was baptized right there in some water by the side of the road (and it was the desert route where there is no water). The Spirit then took Philip off on a new assignment and the Ethiopian went on his way rejoicing for he had been saved and had come to know the truth. Acts 8:26-40.
I did not leave you orphans when Jesus ascended back to My right hand. I gave you My Holy Spirit to be with you and in you forever. And He will teach you all things, guide you to all truth, tell you of the things to come, freely share My thoughts with you, renew your mind, quicken your mortal body, lead you where you should go, and give you My power, the same power that raised up Jesus from the dead now dwells in you. He is the anointing. He is the living water. He is your counselor, your advocate, your comforter, and is always in you and with you. He testifies to Jesus because Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. The Holy Spirit leads you to Jesus.
But how does He do this? In various ways. He enlightnens your heart by My Word through the inner witness and by the people He has filled with My Word and with power that He sends across your path with the truth He has revealed to them to teach you and mentor you along the way until you are equipped to do the same. All My Word is breathed out by Me by My Spirit. It is My Spirit that has inspired men to write the Bible. You could actually say, as Paul did when he quoted the prophet Isaiah to the Jews in Rome: “The Holy Spirit rightly spoke through Isaiah the prophet to your fathers, saying, ‘You will keep on hearing, but will not understand; and you will keep on seeing, but will not perceive. For the heart of this people has become dull, and with their ears they scarcely hear, and they have closed their eyes; otherwise they might see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart and return, and I would heal them.’ Therefore let it be known to you that this salvation of God has been sent to the Gentiles; they will also listen.” Acts 28:25-28. He recognized Isaiah but gave the real authorship to My Spirit. And should remember that about the Bible too. Do not worry too hard or concentrate too hard on the human vessel who actually penned it but consider it as it really is, My Word as revealed to faithful men by My Spirit. It is a result of divine inspiration and revelation. And I have given you My Spirit so your life should be filled with divine inspiration and revelation resulting in glorious manifestation. Signs, wonders, and miracles follow My Word by the power of the Holy Spirit that is in them.
And in the letter to the Hebrews, you find I attribute a quote from Scripture to the Holy Spirit as author, have you never read: “And the Holy Spirit also testifies to us; for after saying, ‘This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws upon their heart, and on their mind I will write them,’ He then says, ‘And their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.’”? Hebrews 10:15-17. It was Jeremiah the prophet who penned those words but it was the Holy Spirit who dictated them. And He will do the same for you, He will give you words and a wisdom no one can take exception to or contradict. He will give you the words to say to witness to others to bring them to salvation and to guide them to all truth also. And He will give a Word to you when you are weary and need fresh fire in your heart.
He also imparts gifts to all in the Body of Christ for the benefit of all. There is the word of wisdom, the word of knowledge, the discerning of spirits, gifts of healings, gift of faith, gift of mighty deeds, gift of tongues and interpretation of tongues, the gift of prophecy. All these are precious and supernatural. They give you a definite advantage over those trapped by the devil in the world system. It is My way of telling you great and mighty things you could never know on your own.
And you in turn share these gifts with others to make their lives beautiful. I give you beauty for your ashes and anoint you with the oil of JOY. All by My Spirit. Do not grieve Him by hardening your heart to divine inspiration and revelation—to divine joy. Let yourself by happy. Stop chastising yourself.
And He tells you My thoughts and shares with you ALL I have freely given you in Christ. And that is stupendous. Jesus told His disciples that He had so much more He wanted to tell them and share with them, but they were not ready for it yet as their hearts were so small and had not enlarged. But He told them good news, the Holy Spirit, whom He would send from Me, would fill in where He left off and guide them all to new heights of truth, revelation, glory and praise.
I gave you My Son, I gave you My Kingdom, and I gave you My Spirit. And My Spirit will show you who I am and who you are. He will take you on a delightful journey that leads to the Kingdom. And I pour My love into your heart by My Spirit, My gift to you. He will not let those who love Me stay in error of knowing who I really am. It is funny, but many people sincerely love Me but do not know Me at all for they do not know I love them and desire above all that they prosper and be in good health, that they have abundant life and health.
I love you. Be kind to one another. Do not judge each other but speak the truth in love. Be generous. Be patient and that does not mean putting up with evil and error in others, it means conquering evil with good. Love never fails and My Love won’t let you fail either. Smile. You are loved and cherished and I have given you My Spirit. You are not an orphan, you are My child and heir, and you own everything.
