One thing I ask from the LORD, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple. Psalm 27:4.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
Heaven is filled with beauty, laughter, and music. Why? Because love abides there and nothing but love. Love eternal. And I am love.
Fill your life with beauty, laughter, and hymns, psalms and songs of the spirit and you will be amazed at the changes in your life and health.
Make your life lovely—a Garden of Eden inside your heart. Watch what you are hearing and speaking. Let no bitter root take hold in your garden. Do not let the sun go down on your anger and avoid obscene, idle, and slanderous talk. Watch your thoughts and Words and match them up with Mine. Let us get rid of the weeds, the thorn bushes, the corruption, and the barren land. I can make the desert bloom.
How? Love. Fill your heart and mind and soul with love– with Me. Fill your mind with My thoughts for My thoughts are thoughts of love—plans of peace and prosperity not disaster and woe.
Make your heart a place of praise and worship. Make melody and treasure the things around you and in you each day and you will become like an enclosed garden where we can meet and walk together. I talk about this in Song of Songs. And then watch your life change and new growth begin to manifest. But this time, not weeds but fruitful spreading trees that give shelter, nourishment, and shady rest to you and all that come within your sphere.
But how can you find the way to this life at a higher level, the life of a royal priesthood? The life of the consecrated soul that Jesus spoke of at the Last Supper—the one who is in the world but is not of the world, the one who escapes the corruption of the world and it lusts. John 17:15-19; 2 Peter 1:4.
I will tell you the answer. Learn to be led by the Holy Spirit. Learn how to follow the lead of My Holy Spirit within you. Be filled with the Holy Spirit.
Do not be stubborn like a mule that must be jerked and pulled by a bit and bridle or whipped into shape. Be like the gentle rein-trained horse that at the merest touch of the reign, with no pull on the bit, immediately turns and goes the way you are directing. Learn to listen for Me like Adam did in the cool part of the day in the Garden. And I talk to you through My Word as you read, hear and ponder on Scripture.
When you are led by My Spirit you are not following your emotions and lusts but you are following the inspiration of My Spirit within you. My Spirit guides you to all truth, reminds you of all Jesus told you, teaches you all things, tells you of things to come, and shares My thoughts with you. My Spirit bestows special gifts on you to lead you at various times for the good of all, such as the word of wisdom and the word of knowledge, gifts of healing and prophecy, discernment of spirits, tongues and interpretation of tongues, special faith, and mighty works (miracles).
Once you have received My Son and confessed Him as your Lord you are born again unto life in the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus and have been set free from the law of sin and death. Romans 8:1-2. You no longer are a slave of sin that you should be led by your flesh (your five senses, emotions, and lusts—acting on a low level without faith and without My Word) but you are a son of Mine and I pour My Spirit into your heart so that you can call Me “Abba! Father!” Romans 8:15. You are no longer a slave but a son! And a son is an heir of his father and has a permanent place in the family forever. Galatians 4:7; Romans 8:17; John 8:34-36.
And those who are led by My Spirit are My sons and daughters. My sheep hear My voice and they follow Me. They will not follow a stranger for they do not recognize the stranger’s voice.
When you are mindful of Me in all your ways I direct your steps. I instruct you in the way you should go. I guide you by My eye. Psalm 32:8. Keep your eyes fixed on Me and be led by My Spirit.
Let Me tell you how to recognize the lead of My Spirit. You may go somewhere and your attention is pulled toward a certain item or person. It is like there is a light on that item or person. I do not mean an attraction by lust because they are physically attractive to you. It is a nudge in that direction that you otherwise would not have but you feel it comes from Me. You then receive a direction to do something. It comes like your own thought or voice inside but it is not from you in the sense that it is something you would normally do; it stretches you beyond your usual boundaries. You may explain to Me why you do not think it is wise to do what you are feeling at that moment, like you do not think you have enough money or you do not feel capable of stepping up and doing what you feel in your heart I am leading you to do. You may argue like Moses did that you are not able to do it and that I should go find someone else with more skill or resources to do it. But you must understand, as Moses learned, if I lead you to do something I will provide the skill and resources you need.
When you first begin to do this, you may not be sure so you do not do it immediately. When you learn better to follow the lead of My Spirit you respond quicker, as Paul learned to do, but at first you may want to discern if it is really Me. I am patient and My gifts and call on your life are irrevocable.
It all starts with a desire to be led and a willingness to go and do what I direct you to do. If you are willing and obey you will begin the life of Heaven on earth.
My Spirit always leads you in accordance with My Word—with the Words of Jesus. Never will you be led by Me to do something contrary to My Word. The best test is whether the action you feel called to do is in keeping with My Word, manifests My goodness (that is, brings Me Glory), benefits, blesses, and encourages someone, and promotes My Kingdom. Ultimately My purpose is to save all people and have them come to know the truth and anything that leads them to Me, leads them to love, is good.
To really be led you need to know My Word. It all begins in reading, hearing, meditating on and hearing good preaching about My Word. My Holy Spirit guides you to all truth, which is My Word. You must know My Word to know My Ways. My Word gives you life and health. Make sure you always have your Bible in easy access.
I am with you and I preserve and protect you. So when you feel I have given you a pull to go a certain place, then go and see what I direct when you get there. You can be certain it will be something that blesses you and another. And you know it will ultimately bring about My Kingdom. It will bring beauty, love, joy, and peace. Let peace by your guide. Great peace have those whose minds are stayed on Me. And I will confirm to you that it is Me by witnessing with your spirit and the way in which the doors will open and things fall into place.
When you are not acting according to the lead of My Spirit you will feel My Spirit giving you warnings within. You will be uncomfortable and have no peace. Your normal state when you are in Jesus should be one of peace so you will know when you are not at peace that something is wrong and you need to ask Me what it is and correct it.
There is no peace for those that are acting without love. Where jealousy and strife are there are all kinds of evil behavior. But those who sow in peace reap a harvest of peace.
I may keep bringing your attention back to a certain matter and you feel inside you that I am telling you to do something that stretches you beyond what you would normally do, go ahead and step out on the water like Peter did, but keep your eyes on Jesus and do not become distracted by the circumstances that look contrary to My Word and begin to sink as Peter did. The just man shall live by faith and if he draws back I take no pleasure in him because he never enters into the good plan I have for his life. He never lives Heaven on earth.
Be bold. Step out today and ask Me to lead you into the work I have for you today. Go where you have the responsibility to go, such as work or an appointment, but look for the special things I have for you to do that day. There are words I want you to say to your co-workers, family, friends or even strangers to encourage and edify them. There are people I want you to bless, it could even be a storeowner I wish to prosper and I tell you to go in and buy something. It could be someone who needs someone to talk to that can tell them they can be healed or their broken marriage restored. It could be a song that needs to be composed, a movie that needs to be made, a building that needs to be built, a new invention that will make life easier for people so they have more time for My Kingdom work, and so much more! Start being alert and looking for the lead of the Holy Spirit in you. Get sensitive to Him and you will be amazed at the projects He will lead you into!
Begin by spending time with Me, asking Me questions, and reading My Word. Take My Word seriously and do whatever I tell you. Forgive, love, and give and you will begin to experience who I am and hear My voice. And the more you give to Me by loving your fellow men and women, the more Heavenly blessings will be poured into your life on earth.
Start to live Heaven on earth by following the lead of My Holy Spirit within your heart. He will raise you to another level of existence—the glorious existence.
Remember when I led Peter to Cornelius? And Paul to Straight Street? And Abraham to the Promised Land? Selah.
Be led. And fill your life with beauty, laughter, and music. Remember when Elisha prophesied he did it to the accompaniment of a minstrel? 2 Kings 3:14-16. Play music that is filled with My Word and sing it in your heart. David made sure singers from the Levites were playing music before My tabernacle day and night. Sing Me a new song.
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, and give constant thanks. And when you are rejoicing you sing praises. James 5:13. Make melody to Me in your heart. I hear and I sing over you. Zephaniah 3:17.
I love you. Always be looking to Me and I will lead you in the way you should go. Say with My beloved David: “You will make known to me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; in Your right hand there are pleasures forever.” Psalm 16:11.
