You have no part or portion in this matter, for your heart is not right before God. Acts 2:21.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

The Way is a path in time, but it is the way to eternity. It is for time and eternity and does not end.

What is the Way? The first believers in Jesus after I had raised Him from the dead and He had ascended back to Me, the newly born church, were described as “belonging to the Way.”

Now Saul, still breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest, and asked for letters from him to the synagogues at Damascus, so that if he found any belonging to the Way, both men and women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem. Acts 9:1-2.

But as he headed along the road to Damascus to go after those belonging to the Way to get them tried and condemned to death in Jerusalem, My plan differed from his, for I knew his heart was for Me but he was living under a lie and his eyes were not seeing the light of truth in Christ.

It happened that as he was approaching Damascus, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him; and he fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?” And he said, “Who are You, Lord?” And He said, “I am Jesus whom you are persecuting, but get up and enter the city, and it will be told you what you must do.” Acts 9:3-6.

He was persecuting those belonging to the Way and Jesus told Saul, now Paul, that he was persecuting Him. He is the Way.

“I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also. And you know the way where I am going.” Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, how do we know the way?” Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.” John 14:3-6.

How do you know you belong to the Way? It is a simple answer, but it goes to the deepest part of your inner man. You know you belong to the Way if your heart is right before Me.

This people honors Me with their lips, but their heart is far away from Me. But in vain do they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the precepts of men.’ Mark 7:6-7.

The Way is a journey of the heart. I do not just look at outer appearance, I look at your heart. When you have a willing heart, you have a hearing heart. What are you seeking? To give yourself the glory or to give Me the glory? Giving Me the glory gives you glory. As you give unto Me so you receive from Me. I glorify you and you glorify Me, that is, I do good things for you and your heart is full of thanksgiving and praise for Me. Let your light shine so everyone will experience the good works you do and give glory to Me in thanksgiving for your life which comes from Me. Remember a little child does everything with the parent and together they make things happen.

Jesus spoke these things; and lifting up His eyes to heaven, He said, “Father, the hour has come; glorify Your Son, that the Son may glorify You, even as You gave Him authority over all flesh, that to all whom You have given Him, He may give eternal life. This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. I glorified You on the earth, having accomplished the work which You have given Me to do. Now, Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was.” John 17:1-5.

And that is a heart right with Me, your delight is to do My perfect Will with your life so I can glorify you together with Me. My glory lights the Kingdom of Heaven and My glory is the light of your life. I glorify you when I raise you on the last day to your glorified body.

And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. For those whom He foreknew, He also foreordained to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren; and these whom He foreordained, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified. Romans 8:28-30.

I know the end from the beginning. It means I know those whose hearts are turned towards Me and those who are not. I know those who do not have hearts right with Me but will turn to Me and get right. I know those who will turn away from Me. It does not mean you had to, I just know all time and eternity in a single view. I call everyone. Jesus died for everyone. It is your choice to make but that does not mean you do nothing. You may be the one that made another choose correctly. It may have been your witness that turned that heart to Me. And it can also be your prayers that did it. Don’t get sluggish about this because you think it is set. It is set by what is done. Hearing and doing My Word puts your life on the solid foundation of the rock of My Word and no storm can take you down. But that is your choice, but I loved you from everlasting to everlasting knowing you would choose Me because I have called everyone but not everyone responds. Some though respond on the third, fourth, or fifth call because of your efforts on their behalf. Do not grow weary of well doing. It is wise to save souls. Your prayers, especially for the dying who have no one to pray for them and are on the brink of hell, are doing awesome to save them.

Is your heart right before Me? What will it profit you to gain the whole world and yet lose your soul? You will notice that the way I identified whether the kings that ruled after David did evil or good in My sight was based on whether their hearts were right before Me or not, whether their hearts were turned towards Me or the world, whether they were tender towards Me or not. And when their hearts were towards Me they kept My Word, when their hearts were turned away from Me they went after idols and treated My Word as if it had never existed.

For when Solomon was old, his wives turned his heart away after other gods; and his heart was not wholly devoted to the LORD his God, as the heart of David his father had been. For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Sidonians and after Milcom the detestable idol of the Ammonites. Solomon did what was evil in the sight of the LORD, and did not follow the LORD fully, as David his father had done. 1 Kings 11:4-6.

David was a man after My own heart. Why do I say that? I tell you why:

He raised up David to be their king, concerning whom He also testified and said, ‘I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My heart, who will do all My will.’ Acts 13:22.

And that is the test of your heart, for I do test hearts, are you willing to do My Will? And that requires walking by faith, like Abraham, and not just by sight. The righteous shall live by faith, but the proud one, his heart is not right within him.

Thus says the LORD, “Cursed is the man who trusts in mankind and makes flesh his strength, and whose heart turns away from the LORD. For he will be like a bush in the desert and will not see when prosperity comes, but will live in stony wastes in the wilderness, a land of salt without inhabitant.” Jeremiah 17:5-6.

Eyes set on the flesh, pride is there, and it conforms you to the worldly minded. But it is different for the one whose heart is set on Me.

“Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD and whose trust is the LORD. For he will be like a tree planted by the water, that extends its roots by a stream and will not fear when the heat comes; but its leaves will be green, and it will not be anxious in a year of drought nor cease to yield fruit.” Jeremiah 17:7-8.

The difference was in their hearts, in which way their hearts were turned.

“The heart is more deceitful than all else and is desperately sick; Who can understand it? I, the LORD, search the heart, I test the mind, even to give to each man according to his ways, according to the results of his deeds.” Jeremiah 17:9.

Where your heart is turned determines your deeds, which in turn determines the way you are on and your eternal destiny.

So how do you get your heart right before Me? By faith. But faith in what?

“The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”—that is, the word of faith which we are preaching, if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. Romans 10:8-10.

You believe in your heart that I raised Jesus from the dead, which means that all your sins are gone and you have been made righteous with My own righteousness, and you are put right with Me. Faith that you were justified by His resurrection puts your heart right with Me.

Yet, with respect to the promise of God, he did not waver in unbelief but grew strong in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully assured that what God had promised, He was able also to perform. Therefore it was also credited to him as righteousness. Now not for his sake only was it written that it was credited to him, but for our sake also, to whom it will be credited, as those who believe in Him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead, He who was delivered over because of our transgressions, and was raised because of our justification. Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand; and we exult in hope of the glory of God. And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope; and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us. Romans 4:20 – Romans 5:5.

By your faith in Me who raised Jesus from the dead and your faith that I delivered Jesus to judgment for your sins and raised Him for your justification brings about your justification before Me and your peace with Me—all sins gone and the party is on (prodigal son). And the ultimate result? My love poured into your hearts through the gift of the Holy Spirit that you receive freely because of My love for you and My desire for you to share it with the world. You become one spirit with Me and that gives you a healed heart.

Heal me, O LORD, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for You are my praise.

Jeremiah 17:14.

Repent, the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. Believe in the good news of salvation in Jesus Christ and be born again from above to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Be a person after My own heart, like David, by being willing to do all My Will. By one man’s disobedience, the many were made sinners, but by One man’s obedience many will be made righteous. Romans 5:19.

I love you. Jesus humbled Himself by becoming obedient and I have highly exalted Him. He is meek and humble of heart. His heart is right and yours can be in Him as well.
