Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, “I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.” John 8:12.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
Jesus is the Light of the world. No follower of His walks in darkness but has the Light of life. I have rescued you from the realm of darkness and translated you to the Kingdom of My beloved Son, in whom you have redemption, the forgiveness of your sins. Jesus is the Way. And He is the Light. So if you are walking in the Way, you are walking in the Light. Your days of darkness, confusion, and spiritual blindness are over. Jesus has opened your eyes to the Light, the true Light that gives life to every person.
There was the true Light which, coming into the world, enlightens every man. He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. John 1:9-10.
Thus, today I want to talk with you about walking in the light. In My Light you see Light. I am Light. There is no darkness in Me. And when you walk in the Light, as I am in the Light, the blood of Jesus continually cleanses you from all sin.
This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth; but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin. 1 John 1:5-7.
The first gift I gave you was light in the darkness. “Light be,” I said and light was. And so it began. Light for the life of men. No follower of Mine will ever walk in darkness, I reveal Jesus to you in that Light. My Word is a light to your path, a lamp to your feet. My Word became flesh. And Jesus is the Light of the world and the lamp that lights Heaven. The revelation of My Word gives light.
So awake sleeper and Christ will give you light! And when you come into the light, you become light. Light drives out darkness. Darkness cannot overcome light. If you turn on the lights in a dark room, the darkness cannot remain. It is driven out by the light.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness cannot overcome it. John 1:1-5.
Do you understand? That is why My Word cleanses you and enlightens you. It turns on the Light in the darkness and if you let the light penetrate to the very core of your being you become nothing but light. And light is filled with goodness and purity.
Therefore do not be partakers with them; for you were formerly darkness, but now you are Light in the Lord; walk as children of Light (for the fruit of the Light consists in all goodness and righteousness and truth), proving what is pleasing to the Lord. Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them; for it is disgraceful even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret. But all things become visible when they are exposed by the light, for everything that becomes visible is light. Ephesians 5:7-13.
Do not battle the darkness, just turn on the light. Fighting in the dark makes no sense when light is available. And yet this is what many people do. They struggle with negative emotions, with hatred, with jealousy, with unforgiveness, with strife, with fear, with worry, with anxiety, and with addictions, but they do not realize that there is a much easier way to combat these then to concentrate on them and struggle in your mind with the dark thoughts that accompany those things. Dwelling on thoughts from the enemy is not wise. You must reject them as not originating with you.
Instead, fill your ears, your heart, and your eyes with My Word (My Words are spirit and life and health to your whole body), and with My promises that you find there in abundance. Promises for healing, peace, joy, forgiveness, provision, prosperity, and freedom from fear and destruction, and speak them out over yourself and begin to know they are for you. Turn on the light of life. Open your mouth in thanks and praise for all that I do and will do for you. Sing praise to Me and raise up your hands. Look for the good I am sending your way. I fill your days with good things! Expect them.
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, and give constant thanks. Keep voicing your thanksgiving and it will multiply the good things in your life in an amazing way.
You will know that you believe (that you have faith in My Word) when you start getting excited and looking to your future with confident joy. And then you will begin to enter My rest and soar with eagle’s wings instead of flapping around in your negative emotions trying to talk yourself into giving them up on your own. Lean on Me. Be strong in Me and the power of My Might. That means that you can depend on Me to give you strength. If you take the step, I will do the rest.
If you get a hold of your tongue by the power of My Spirit and make it speak thanks and praise then light will enter your heart and light brings joy. And you will find your life turning around to where you want to be. It is like the rudder on a ship, the bit in the mouth of a horse, and the steering wheel in your car.
Let me flood your soul with My light. It will dispel the darkness. And you find that light in My Word. Seek My Word, hunger for it, and take it in day and night.
And when you draw close to Me you come into the light. I am Light and Love. The Glory, My manifest presence, lights all of Heaven. There is no need of sun or moon there. My presence gives light. My Word gives light. My Word is a lamp to your feet. And in Heaven the Lamb is your lamp. He is your Shepherd, guiding you in right paths. No follower of His walks in darkness. No, if you follow Him you have the Light of life.
Join yourself to Me and you become one spirit with Me. I can then embrace you with light and love and penetrate to the very core of your being with goodness, peace and joy. You will know Me and you will hear My voice.
The spirit of man is the lamp of the LORD, Searching all the innermost parts of his being. Proverbs 20:27.
For You light my lamp; the LORD my God illumines my darkness. Psalm 18:28.
Remember how I said in My Word that the Kingdom of God is like a treasure a man found hidden in a field? He went and sold everything he had to buy that field in order to possess that precious treasure.
The real treasure, the real Kingdom, is the intimate marriage of your spirit with Mine. You will sing with the bride in the Song of Solomon that “His mouth is sweetness itself, He is all delight. Such is my lover, and such my friend.” Come to know Me like this. If you do not know Me, your God, as your lover and friend, as a delight who talks to you sweetly, you do not know Me as I AM. My tender mercy will surprise you and it is new every morning.
Can a mother forget her child, the infant at her breast? Even if she should forget, I will never forget you. I have written your name on the palms of My Hands, in the depths of My Heart. Set Me as a seal upon your heart for My banner over you is love and love is stronger than death. I have espoused you to Me forever. I can do this because our spirits become one, not flesh as earthly marriage which ends when the body dies, but the spirit lives forever.
Walk with Me in love and you will walk in the Light. I have called you out of darkness into My wonderful light. From the very beginning I spoke light into dark places. Open your darkness to My light and you will be transformed. For My Love has shone into your heart through the Holy Spirit whom I have given to you who believe in My Son.
For God, who said, “Light shall shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. 2 Corinthians 4:6.
Let My light embrace you and shine upon you with all the warmth of love, your life will become a glorious union with Me filled with delight and sweetness.
For with Me is the fountain of life and in My Light you see light. And that eternal life is in My Son and He gives you light. And that light is the life of men. And My Holy Spirit which Jesus pours out into your hearts is the river of life from My throne that pours into you and overflows so that it pours out of you to the thirsty world.
I want to show you favor and I have in Jesus and in Him I have given you the way to My heart. Your winter is over and past, the rains are over and gone. The real light is shining, the Sun of justice with its healing rays. The flowers appear on the earth, the time of pruning the vines has come, and the song of the dove is heard in your land. Arise, my beloved, my beautiful one and come to Me. Let me see you, let Me hear your voice, for your voice is sweet and you are lovely.
You are precious in My eyes. My delight is to be with you! Let Me be the light of your life.
If only you knew My wonderful plans for you, you would overflow with joy. You would wake up excited and ready every day, for you are on the Way of Light. You would be looking for the opportunities I send you each day and you would follow my direction and take them.
Do not miss your destiny. Listen each day when I speak a word of wisdom to you, a word of knowledge, or a prophecy. Abide in Me and you will be fruitful. You will find your purpose and your vision; you will know true hope, that is, confident, joyful expectation. You will see great things, mighty miracles! It is there for you in the Light.
Look to the Light. Do not turn to your dark thoughts and emotions. They are not from Me and you should look at them and say “Light be!” and rebuke them. They are not from My Kingdom and you can take authority over your mind and emotions when you have a strong spirit. And how do you get a strong spirit? By feeding your spirit with My Word and exercising your spirit by speaking My promises over your life and that of others. You are the light the world is looking for.
When you believe you become children of the Light. And you walk in the light. And we have fellowship. And as you continue in My Word, you will come to know the truth and the truth will set you free—free from the darkness and all that goes with that realm. You will know who you are in Me and all the good things I have already given you in Christ. I have blessed you with all spiritual blessings and given you all you need for life and godliness. I have made you partakers of the divine nature, which is light and love and every good and perfect gift.
Believers are receivers, not beggars. You do not need to beg Me for what is already yours. Take authority over darkness in My Light. I have given you all things in Christ.
Receive the Light of My glory shining on the Face of Christ and then turn and shine on the world like bright stars in a dark place. You are offering it the Word of Life.
Yes, a wonderful thing happens as you pursue the Way, the path of light. You too become like the one in you, Christ in you, your hope of glory, and you begin to light up the world with the light of life that is in you!
“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16.
I love you. Stay in My Light by staying in My Word. Your whole body will be filled with light. And light produces every kind of goodness and brings joy. I am Light and in My presence is fullness of joy. Do not fight darkness, just let in the Light. I stand at the door of your heart and knock. Open wide and I will fill your emptiness with light and love. Let go of the darkness that you cling to in disobedience to My Word and let Me embrace you with light and love. My left hand is under your head and My right arm embraces you. Song of Songs 2:6.
