For this reason we also constantly thank God that when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men, but for what it really is, the word of God, which also performs its work in you who believe. 1 Thessalonians 2:13.
But as for you, go to the end; then you will enter into rest and rise again for your allotted portion at the end of the days. Daniel 12:13.
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:10-12.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:
If you will stay standing, I can get you through anything the devil throws up at you, but if you let yourself sink down on the ground there is not much I can do. Never surrender. You do not have to. I am with you and for you, and when I am for you, who can be against you and prevail? No one and nothing. You have to know that and hang on. Jesus told you that you would have trials in this life, but to take courage for He has overcome the world. Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. And the victory that overcomes the world is your faith. Faith in My Word. Faith in My love. Faith in that I have already given you everything you need for life and godliness in abundance and that I have already blessed you with every spiritual blessing in Heaven.
The devil will try to intimidate you but never back down. If you submit to My Word, resist the devil and then he will flee from you. In you, who believe, is Christ Jesus your hope of glory and My Holy Spirit forever.
It is important that you be aware how the devil operates. He only can take people captive by deception. He uses lies, he is a murderer from the beginning and a liar and the father of lies. He deceived Eve by lying to her that she did not have what she already had. Let Me give you an example in My servant Jacob. He knew Me but he was deceived. His sons came and told him Joseph was missing and had been killed by a wild beast. Now if he had Joseph standing there with him, he would have rejected that immediately. If someone had witnessed that what the sons said was not true and revealed what they had done to Joseph and how he was carried off to Egypt, Jacob would have rejected the lie. But he listened to the lie, did not question it (where were Joseph’s bones if they found the tunic?), and believed it. He believed Joseph was dead and gone. It was not true but it caused all the negative emotions of fear, grief, depression, loneliness, darkness, and anger at Me for taking his favorite son. And it was all deception. A lie that he swallowed hook, line, and sinker, so to speak. He swallowed Satan’s bait and it put him in darkness.
The devil uses deception that makes you think you do not have something you actually do have all the time, such as healing, health, joy, peace, provision, protection, and deliverance, or even My approval, love and acceptance. You have these already, they are My inheritance in you, but Satan will deceive you to think you don’t and get you to speak death rather than life. And death and life are in the power of YOUR tongue. If you will speak his lies you will live them.
Jacob could have gone for grief counseling, to a psychologist, taken anti-depressant medication, and joined a support group but until he knew the truth about what he actually had nothing would have helped.
The devil tries to invade your emotions with a spirit of lack and the orphan spirit. He is always trying to get you to be running after things you actually have in the spirit realm and could manifest into your life by your faith (believe in your heart and speak with your mouth), but he will seek to frustrate and depress you until you try to fill your emptiness with things that will destroy you instead of releasing the power in you that is already there but of which you have chosen to be unaware. My servant Paul wrote to you, “Now, concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be unaware.” 1 Corinthians 12:1. In fact, he goes so far as to advise you to desire and pursue spiritual gifts earnestly! Especially that you may prophesy. 1 Corinthians 14:1. It is available to you if you wish to pursue it. For to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the good of all. 1 Corinthians 12:7. And even beyond that, each one of you has received a gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of My manifold grace. 1 Peter 4:10. So do not say you do not have a gift from Me. My Word is truth and I have said you do. So use it for the common good.
The only way to fight Satan’s lies is to know the truth. There is no other way. Fasting, prayer, and corporate worship are good if done for the right reasons but the only way to be shielded from the attacks of the devil is knowing the truth. Then nothing he does can move you. If Jacob had known the truth, he would not have spent thirteen years in depression, grief, and inactivity. He would have lived a fruitful life. But that all got put on “hold” when he paralyzed himself in a lie. And that is where many of you are. You stay stuck in anger, sickness, pain, addiction, and abuse because of ignorance of who you are and what you have in Christ. You must not just accept and wallow in things you should have rejected a long time ago as lies of the evil one. Why you tolerate him is a mystery, but it is from lack of knowledge and in some, a refusal to seek the knowledge. My Word is constantly being preached today—on TV, on the internet, at conferences, in books, in Bible colleges, but makes sure it is the truth of My Word you are hearing and not a lie of the evil one. If it does not match up with My written Word in the Bible, reject it. But to get to that point, you must be familiar with My Word. It must be what fills your heart and mouth.
So how do you fight? The righteous one shall live by faith and if he draws back I take no pleasure in him. If you draw back you will perish, if you press on you will win. Perseverance is the key here. And how do you do that? I have given you amor to wear in the spirit and one offensive weapon, and the armor is all about knowing the truth, for when you do you can refute every lie of the evil one. Listen to what My apostle Paul wrote when he was in the thick of battle for the Gospel: “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.
Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm. Stand firm therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” Ephesians 6:10-17.
There you are. Armed in the truth of My Word and taking the Sword that is My Word to knock down every lie of the evil one. All My promises are “yes” to you in Christ Jesus and I have given you Jesus, My Spirit, My Kingdom, and Myself. You are complete, lacking in nothing. So stand your ground and keep what you have. Watch yourself that you do not lose ground but that you may receive a full reward. 2 John 1:8. Continue to the end.
I love you. Continue in My Word so that you are My disciples and then you will know the truth and the truth will set you free from every lie of the evil one. I have rescued you from the realm of darkness and transferred you to the Kingdom of My Beloved Son. You have the inheritance of the saints in light. Why are you acting like you don’t? You have believed a lie.
