Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me. Revelation 3:20.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:
Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.
You determine how much of Me you want in your life. You can be attached like the branch to the vine and receive from Me all day and all night or you can be unaware of Me and not receive from your source. If you are in worry and fear you have forgotten that I am with you and you are not reaching out to receive the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness. And without that, you will not grow—and glow. Look to Me at all times and your face will be radiant.
The best way to live is in Jesus. He is your refuge. He is the secret place of the Most High. And in Him you are secure. And you can have as much of Him as you want. He gives you life giving water. But you must drink. So come if you are thirsty! He is My gift to you. And He is a forever gift. And all My magnificent promises are “yes” to you in Him.
I cannot act in your life unless you give Me permission to do so. If you open your heart to Me and take Me as your Lord, then I can do great and mighty things for you, with you and in you. If you do not, I cannot act in your life as I would like to. I cannot be your Protector, your Healer, your Provider and your Shepherd if you reject Me.
Remember how My Son wept over Jerusalem? He said, “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing.” Matthew 23:37. You see from this that I cannot do what I would love to do for or with a person if that person is not willing. Although I want to protect, heal and prosper you, I cannot if you refuse Me.
When you pray that My Will be done in your life you are making a conscious choice to authorize Me to act in your life. Otherwise your will would be done and not Mine. Mary understood this when she told the Angel Gabriel, “let it be done to Me according to your word.” She authorized Me to act in her life. She could have refused and kept her own agenda, but she liked what she heard from the Angel Gabriel and decided to live My wonderful plan for her life.
You see, My Will cannot be done on the earth unless someone does it, that is, authorizes Me to act. I stand at the door and knock. I cannot do anything on earth unless someone authorizes Me to do so and works with Me so I can act for that person and through that person. It is your will that is done on earth. I have not permitted bad things to happen, you have! I cannot do anything about them unless you call on Me to do so.
You see this in the Garden of Gethsemane. I had a Will, a plan, for Jesus’ life. I do for each of you too. He knew that. He prayed that My Will be done and authorized Me to do it in His life. He agreed and cooperated. He could have refused and not done it and then I could not have done it.
I have a Will for the earth, a good plan, and a Will for each person’s life, a plan for his or her happiness that fits in with My overall plan, but I cannot do it if you do not agree. That is why it takes so long for Me to accomplish My Will on earth. I am waiting on you, not you on Me. Whatever you permit on earth is permitted in Heaven and whatever you bind on earth is bound in Heaven. Matthew 18:18.
Whatever you permit in your life I cannot stop unless you call on Me to do so. I try to give you help and reach out to you, but it is ultimately up to you whether or not you will accept that help. I give you direction and guidance. I open ways and opportunities to you, but you must take them. Only you can order the devil out and only you can take the Blessing. The power is there and is given to you but you must decide to use it. Mark 16:17. My eyes go to and fro over the earth looking for those whose hearts are toward Me to show Myself strong on their behalf. 2 Chronicles 16:9. These are the ones who will authorize and permit Me to act in their lives.
That is why I asked you to pray that My Will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Otherwise, it is not.
When Jesus prayed n the Garden He was not so much making a blind submission to My Will as authorizing My Will in His Life. He was making a conscious and deliberate choice to take certain actions in His life to obtain a good result. He was calling on Me to perform My Will and not His. Remember, He said to do My Will was His delight. Psalm 40:8. You must understand this, He did. If He did not authorize and demand My Will to be done, His would have been done. He asked Me if I could think of another way to accomplish My Will, but when He saw there was no other way, He chose to call for My Will to be done. He had to authorize it.
Remember that He said, “Not My Will but yours be done.” I emphasize again that otherwise His and not Mine would have been done. As a man He had authority to do as He wished on earth. I could not do My Will unless He called for it and told Me to do it.
That is what He was doing in the Garden the night before the crucifixion. It was a prayer of permission, not of giving in, but of making a conscious choice to take a particular path.
People decide to do things because of the result they want to achieve. What do you ultimately want in your life? If you want good and not evil, if you want joy and not sorrow, if you want peace and not disaster, then choose My plan, My Will for your life, and authorize Me, give Me permission, to act in your life. As I told the Israelites in the desert, life and death are set before you, choose life that you and your descendants may live. And I mean really live!
My Will is My plan for your happiness.
But you will only have as much of Me in your life as you permit. I would like to be united with you and help you in everything. I want us to be one. I living in you and you living in Me so our unity is complete. This was My Son’s final prayer at the Last Supper before He was crucified, that we would all be one. John 17:20-21.
If you want Me in your life, just draw close to Me and I will draw close to you. Open your heart when I knock to enter and let Me share My Heart with you. Call on Me and I will answer you. Let Me hear your voice, let Me see your face, for you are lovely and your voice to Me is sweet. Song of Songs 2:14.
Come to Me. My arms are open for you. If you feel I am not acting in your life as you would like it is not My fault. I have loved you with an everlasting love and the way is open to My throne. It is your decision to come. Bo. בא
