Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will be careful to observe My ordinances.You will live in the land that I gave to your forefathers; so you will be My people, and I will be your God. Moreover, I will save you from all your uncleanness; and I will call for the grain and multiply it, and I will not put a famine on you. Ezekiel 36:26-29
Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:
Spend your life in close fellowship with Me and your transition to My Kingdom will be seamless. How do you do that? How do you live your life in close fellowship with Me?
To answer that question I will begin with a question: Is your heart right? You cannot fellowship without a right heart. I mean a sincere heart that desires to be open to Me. Desires to share and partner with Me. Desires to walk in the light with Me. Desires to do what is right. A heart toward Me that finds doing My Will a delight.
Now when Jesus walked among you according to the flesh, He was in Jerusalem at the Passover, and during the feast many believed in His name, observing His signs which He was doing. But Jesus, on His part, was not entrusting Himself to them, for He knew all men, and because He did not need anyone to testify concerning man, for He Himself knew what was in each man’s heart. John 2:23-25. I cannot entrust Myself to someone with a devious and treacherous heart. They will betray Me as Judas did Jesus. As Adam did to Me.
There are those who give lip service but their heart is far from Me. Hearts that have become hardened with selfish desires, a web of lies, addictions and deceits. At the time of Noah I saw that the wickedness of man was great on the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually and I was grieved in My heart. Genesis 6:5-6. It is My desire to dwell among you and have close fellowship and partnership with you. Like I did with Enoch. He walked with Me for 365 years and then I took him, without bodily death he crossed over the light line. A seamless transition resulting from close fellowship.
David sang, “a humble contrite heart you will not spurn,” and he was right. That is a heart open to My love, My Word, My Spirit and My saving touch. He was a man after My own heart—he continually sought My heart.
So what did I do to make your hearts right so we could be one in Spirit and truth? In fellowship and partnership? In covenant and love forever? I cleansed you of all sin, gave you a new heart, and put My Spirit in your heart and wrote My law of love in your heart. Ezekiel 36:26-29. I imputed all your sins and lawlessness to Jesus and imputed to you all My own righteousness. I made you “right,” holy, blameless and beyond reproach by His Blood.
Walk in the light as I am in the light and the Blood of My Son continually cleanses you from all sin. 1John1:6. Why? Because you are walking in the light, which means you are walking with a right heart. And then we can agree, and how can two walk together unless they agree?
You either walk in light or walk in darkness, and the one you are walking in affects every part of your life—your mind, your emotions, your physical health. Love heals, hate kills. It is that simple. And I am LOVE. I heal. I redeem. I restore.
Submit to My Word, that is the key to walking in the Light. James 4:7-8. Trust in Me, lean on Me, acknowledge Me in all your ways and I can direct your steps. You cannot walk in faith and walk in pride. Faith is humble because faith depends on My power to do things right. I am present as your helper but you have to be willing to accept and receive My help. You do not have to do things alone, I have given you the Holy Spirit, the one in you and with you, to counsel, guide, lead, and direct you. The Holy Spirit gives you the answers you need to know. You are to function by the unction and are to be flowing by the knowing. My Spirit bears witness with your spirit and causes you to know the things to come. And that is fellowship. Conversation, impartation, and visitation.
Draw close to Me and I will draw close to you. We can have close fellowship. Believe and receive. You have to reach out and seek. But, as in any relationship, you need to seek to be with the other. If you avoid a person and/or ignore a person there is no fellowship or partnership between you. If you do not trust a person there is no fellowship between you and that person. If you bear resentment to them in your heart, there is no true fellowship. Malice and fellowship do not go together.
David sang, “O LORD, create in me a clean heart,” and Jesus told His disciples how to clean their hearts. He said, “you are clean already because of the Word I have spoken to you.” The washing of water with the Word, that is the way Jesus washes the Church, His body, in all its members so that it is without blemish, stain or wrinkle. Cleanse your heart and mind by reading, speaking, hearing, meditating, and guarding My Words in your heart. Write My Words on the tablet of your heart and that is the way to open up a whole new dimension in your life. And the Word will go to work in you cleansing, purifying, and giving you faith. And My Word will start speaking to your heart and that is the beginning of our fellowship—of our partnership on earth.
Fellowship with Me in My Word, that is what Jesus told Martha was the one thing necessary in your life from which everything else flows. Fellowship with Me is, before Me, the most pleasing work you can do. It pleases Me more than anything else when you want to talk, walk, and live in Me. When to do My Will is your delight.
Jesus invited you into fellowship with Me through Him by giving all He is and has for you that He might open the way for you to come before Me with a right heart and a clear conscience, with no barriers between us. And He invites you to a fellowship of life, peace, restoration and divine direction, and He tells you all you need to do is come. “Come to Me all you who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30. Are you weary? Heavy laden with sin and past mistakes, unwise decisions, and a path going nowhere? Just come. My fellowship and partnership will give you rest, instruction, and I will lead you home safely.
And fellowship and partnership with Me is different than any other fellowship or partnership you can have. In the world fellowship and partnership are good where you unite as one in purpose and pursuit but no one can do for you what I can do, and will do for you if you let Me. I never leave you or forsake you no matter what you do or others do. In Psalm 91 you will get a glimpse at what fellowship with Me provides. I become your refuge and your fortress, I become your protector and defender, no harm can befall you or penetrate into your tent, I send angelic hosts to minister to you and keep you from injury and danger, I give you authority and power to trample the devil underfoot, in disasters and war I keep you out of danger, I guard and shelter you from pestilence, plague and disease, and I finish the Psalm speaking of our fellowship and partnership together: “Because he has loved Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him securely on high, because he has known My name. He will call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble and distress; I will rescue him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him My salvation.” Psalm 91:14-16.
I love you. Today I have given you the fourth of the five steps to total wholeness by healing under My Spirit. If you have been reading this manna each day you know what the first three are and tomorrow, I will give you the fifth and final step. Faith, the crown of them all that is the result of the four steps proceeding.
