Then the angel of the LORD said to Gad to say to David, that David should go up and build an altar to the LORD on the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite . . . Then David built an altar to the LORD there and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. And he called to the LORD and He answered him with fire from heaven on the altar of burnt offering. The LORD commanded the angel, and he put his sword back in its sheath. 1 Chronicles 21:18; 26-27.
Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will injure you. Luke 10:19.
But when Christ appeared as a high priest of the good things to come, He entered through the greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this creation; and not through the blood of goats and calves, but through His own blood, He entered the holy place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. For if the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling those who have been defiled sanctify for the cleansing of the flesh, how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? Hebrews 9:11-14
Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:
I want to stress the importance of gathering together as believers and the Body of Christ to encourage one another and pray together. A dark spirit of fear is taking hold in the world and you must oppose this by faith. For fear will fuel and open the door to what it fears. Like Job. Job 3:25-26. Take the dominion authority that I have given you as the children of men and as My children who have been given the NAME, and together rebuke the virus (I have given you authority over creeping things and all demonic powers, Genesis 1:26, Luke 10:19) and take this down in the NAME above every other name. Yes, anything you ask in Jesus’ Name, HE will do and I will give it to you.
It is time for you to bring out the Sword of the Spirit and take the dragon down. Cut the cargoes out of his belly. Revelation 18:13. Speak the NAME, bring out the Big Gun, and no weapon formed against you will be able to prosper. You overcome Satan, that ancient serpent, the dragon, also known as the devil, by the Blood of the Lamb and the WORD of your testimony. Revelation 12:11. The fruit of your lips. But I am jumping ahead, let Me show you how to stop a pestilence in its tracks. Lift up the standard (the Cross) and turn back the flood. The Blood of the Cross in a sacrifice of praise! Hebrews 13:15.
Here we go.
Do you remember what David did when the pestilence attacked Israel and had already taken seventy thousand lives? My angel told Gad, the prophet, to say to David that he should go up and build an altar to Me on the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite. Do you know where that was? Ha Makom. Yes, the spot where Abraham had taken Isaac and laid him on the rock to sacrifice. The place where Jacob had laid his head on a stone and had the dream of earth and heaven united that he named Beth-el, house of God. And that was where David would direct Solomon to build the Temple and that would be the place the Ark of the Covenant would rest, upon that rock would be the Holy of Holies. The place where I had put My Name that I told Moses I would show them.
And so David bought the threshing floor of Ornan and he built an altar to the Me there and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. And he called to Me and I answered him with fire from heaven on the altar of burnt offering. My wrath fell on the offering, just as it did on Jesus, the fulfillment of the burnt offering, Hebrews 10:5-10, and the sin was consumed by the blood that made atonement on the altar. Leviticus 17:11. The offering that obtained your peace. And I commanded the destroying angel to halt, and he put his sword back in its sheath. 1 Chronicles 21:26-27. But it was Satan that had masterminded the whole thing. 1 Chronicles 21:1.
So why am I telling you this? Because you can do this too, but not by building a physical altar and sacrificing bulls and lambs, for now you apply the Blood of atonement in another way. Let Me show you.
In the letter to the Hebrews, I explain much of this. When Jesus appeared as the high priest of the good things to come, after His death and resurrection, He Himself entered Heaven, and went right into the greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this creation; and not through the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood, He entered the holy place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. For if the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling those who have been defiled sanctify for the cleansing of the flesh, how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to Me, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve your Father, the living God? Hebrews 9:11-14. The Blood of Christ cleanses your consciences of past sins, dead works, so you can go forward with Me in full confidence of My love and acceptance of you.
And that Blood pleads for you on the altar of Heaven. Its voice is louder than that of the Blood of Abel, but it does not call for vengeance but for forgiveness in propitiation for all your sins. Hebrews 12:24. The new and living way has opened to you by your forerunner, your great High Priest, Jesus, who loves you and released you from your sins by His Blood and made you a kingdom of priests unto Me, your Father, to offer spiritual sacrifice. Revelation 1:5-6; 1 Peter 2:5.
So how, as My priests do you offer up the Blood and sprinkle the people with it as Moses did? Look at Hebrews 13:15: “Through Jesus then, let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that give thanks to His name.” Hebrews 13:15. And now look back to My prophet Hosea: “Return, O Israel, to the LORD your God, for you have stumbled because of your iniquity. Take words with you and return to the LORD. Say to Him, “Take away all iniquity and receive us graciously, that we may present the fruit of our lips.” Hosea 14:1-3. The fruit of your lips. My Word does not return to Me void but achieves the purpose for which I sent it. So where do you get these Words? Read on, I tell you, “It is I who answer and look after you. I am like a luxuriant cypress; from Me comes your fruit.” Hosea 14:8. From Me. That is where you get the words to plead before Me. And when I say plead, I do not mean beg, I am using a legal term. A lawyer files pleadings at court in which he states the Law or precedent on which he is relying to win his case for his client. Plead the blood, for I have redeemed you and forgiven your sins by the Blood of Jesus. And it is the Blood applied by you, by your words of praise, the fruit of your lips, that covers your bodies, your families, your homes, your neighborhoods and beyond, just as the blood of the Passover lamb covered each person, family, and community when I redeemed them out of slavery and protected them from the destroyer.
And just as Moses sprinkled the blood of bulls, goats, and lambs upon the people to cleanse them, so by the sacrifice of the fruit of your lips you sprinkle the blood on all you are praying for and holding up to Me. My apostle Peter wrote, “Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to those who reside as aliens, scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia, who are chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, by the sanctifying work of the Spirit, to obey Jesus Christ and be sprinkled with His blood: May grace and peace be yours in the fullest measure.” 1 Peter 1:1-2.
And how did I tell you to join with Him and offer up the Blood? By the sacrifice of praise. Hebrews 13:15. The praise cure! Paul and Silas knew it and used it to take off the chains with which they had been bound by the evil one. Acts 16:25-34. Praise My faithfulness to My Word. Fill up your praise basket till it outweighs your problem basket. It confuses the devil when he speaks thoughts of pestilence and death to you when your response is joy unspeakable filled with glory. It puts down all his plans every time. And especially if you do like Me and sit on the throne with Me and laugh. That is resisting the devil, and he will flee. He is already defeated by Jesus, but you have to enforce it because he still has Adam’s leasehold on the earth. But that is almost over, and he knows his time is short, so never let him loose by following his words, only follow Mine and you will bind him and his demons and win every time. Jesus never spoke on his own initiative, but only spoke My Words and did My Works.
And Jesus Himself, your great High Priest, gave you how to pray as His royal priesthood, “Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven. For where two or three have gathered together in My Name, I am there in their midst.” Matthew 18:19-20. And, “Truly I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven.” Matthew 18:18. There is no pestilence or illness in Heaven, it is bound there, so you can bind it on earth and loose healing and divine health.
Have you gathered with other believers and taken authority over the Corona virus and all the forces of the enemy? You can. Lift up the standard and turn back the flood! It is as easy as opening your mouth. Bind on earth what is already bound in Heaven and the High Priest of your confession will enforce it and perform it.
It is the fruit of your lips that you bring to altar, the golden altar in Heaven, where the angels combine your prayer with the coals and incense of the altar there and hurl back the golden censer on the earth to crush the work of the enemy. “Another angel came and stood at the altar, holding a golden censer; and much incense was given to him, so that he might add it to the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar which was before the throne. And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the believers, went up before God out of the angel’s hand. Then the angel took the censer and filled it with the fire of the altar, and threw it to the earth; and there followed peals of thunder and sounds and flashes of lightning and an earthquake.” Revelation 8:2-5. Yes, that is just what happened in that prison in Philippi as Paul and Silas offered up a sacrifice of praise at the midnight hour. Acts 16:25-26.
Believers should be turning the world into kingdom territory. Wherever your feet tread I will give you. Dare to go tread down the work of the evil one instead of running about in fear, staying away from church, and running to the grocery store to buy out the supplies before you need them with the unbelievers. My royal priesthood should be shining not whining. Take authority and pour out the Blood by the fruit of your lips. Death and life are in the power of your tongue and you will eat the fruit of your lips.
