Do not judge so that you will not be judged. For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you. Matthew 7:1-2.
For if you forgive others for their transgressions, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions. Matthew 6:14-15.
For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for all, the testimony given at the proper time. 1 Timothy 2:5-6.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:
Elijah and Elisha lived in the midst of a wicked and fickle people who did not love Me or keep My Word but they managed to live very holy and supernatural lives in close union with Me. And both of them were well-known and had a great impact on the nation and the kings of Israel. Daniel was the same. Against all odds these men lived holy lives filled with revelation that no one else around them had. How did they do that? They were in the world, and had great impact in the political arena, but they were not of the world. Why? Because they walked with Me and were men of the Word and of prayer. They were people of faith.
They had their minds set on Me. Stayed on Me. And their hearts were turned towards Me. And you can do the same anywhere. No matter how godless your relatives, family, co-workers, fellow students, or friends behave, you can live out your destiny and stay close to Me. Look at Jacob’s son Joseph, he was the only believer in Egypt, but it did not take him off course with Me and resulted in him being raised to a position of honor. I honor those who honor Me. Promotion is from Me.
When you are attentive to My Words, supernatural things will happen. And that is what marked all who lived extraordinary lives in the midst of crooked and perverse generations. They hung onto My Word for their very life. My apostle Paul wrote, “So then, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure. Do all things without grumbling or disputing; so that you will prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you appear as lights in the world, holding fast the Word of life.” Philippians 2:12-16.
My Son prayed to Me regarding those who follow Him, “I have given them Your Word and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.” John 17:14. The world speaks different words, they speak the words of the “god” of this world, the devil, who speaks death and is a liar and the father of lies. He is a murderer and a liar from the beginning.
Listen to a worldly person speak and then listen to a believer speak, there should be a difference. If not, they are of the world.
Understand what Paul was telling you. Avoid idle godless chatter. Do not grumble or complain. Be thankful. Do not quarrel or fight and create divisions in the body of Christ. Avoid angry, offensive talk and obscene language or coarse jesting, instead speak words of grace that edify, exhort, and encourage those who hear them just when needed. And Peter tells you to put aside malice, slander, gossip, and the like. And they all tell you to FORGIVE. And My Son told you this many times too, even when He taught His disciples how to pray at their request.
Believers, those of faith, see victory, goodness, and My power at work. Worldly people see defeat, evil, and manpower at work. Joy and the Holy Spirit mark a believer who is a true person of faith. John 17:11-13; Acts 5:41; Acts 13:52; Romans 14:17, Romans 15:13; 1 Thessalonians 1:6.
I have called you into My own Kingdom and glory. 1 Thessalonians 2:12. I have called you into partnership with My Son. 1 Corinthians 1:9. I have rescued you from the domain of darkness and translated you to the Kingdom of My beloved Son, in whom you have redemption through His Blood, the forgiveness of sins according to the riches of My grace. Colossians 1:13-14; Ephesians 1:7.
When Elijah began to grumble and complain and feel depressed, even wanting to die rather than go on with his assignment, he lost his destiny. Elisha took over and finished the things I told him to do that he never completed. Moses too. I had called him to lead the people out of Egypt into the promised land, but the delay made him bitter against the people and he grumbled and complained. Both failed to complete their assignments by getting bitter and burnt out by looking too hard at themselves and at those around them.
And that is what many of you are doing and let Me warn you that what you are doing will destroy the rest of your life.
That may have gotten your attention if you are currently depressed and bitter against yourself and others, full of regrets. So, what can you do? Stop the self-condemnation and stop the blame of those around you or the one who you have a bitter heart towards for what they did to your life. Could be a parent, a spouse, a sibling, a friend, a business partner, a co-worker, a boss at work, or many others, the devil will bring some adversary into your life. You will know who I mean.
So your next thought may be that you would just like to get away from that person and things would be okay. People often divorce for that reason. But even if you leave them physically, your heart is still bitter.
So how do you get over it? You forgive by the Blood of Jesus. That is the way I forgave you and everyone else. He paid the ransom for ALL. Accept the payment that My Son has made to you. Oh yes, He did not just pay Me for the sins of everyone, He also paid you.
Jesus paid the ransom for all. I have paid you for that other person’s selfishness with Jesus’ Blood and in that Blood, I also gave you eternal life and all My magnificent promises became “yes” to you in Jesus. That is how I paid you.
Jesus paid Me for all of you. I am not mad at anyone. I am not bitter about anyone. I have forgiven all with no exceptions. He died once for ALL. I have sworn never to be angry with you again. Isaiah 54:9. Whether you or anyone else accepts that forgiveness is up to them. And when they do accept it, and if they understand the magnitude of what they have in the Blood that My Son has given them to atone for that sin against them, or their own sin against themselves, they will forgive Me, themselves and others. It is up to each person to accept it or reject it. If you reject it, you have retained your sins and will be judged accordingly.
How do you reject it? By refusing to forgive others as I have forgiven you. Hold on before you reject that and let Me explain. But I tell you this multiple times in My Word.
Jesus paid the ransom for all, not just to Me but to you too. You do not have to be mad at yourself about sins and failures, Jesus took your fault and paid you for it too. He has paid you for everyone who hurt you with His Blood, He took the condemnation and bitterness you had against that person Himself and He was punished for it. If you do not accept what Christ has done as payment in full, then I cannot accept what Christ has done as payment in full for you. Why? Because there is a law of the Kingdom: “The way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you.” Matthew 7:1-2. If your standard is that Christ’s payment was not sufficient for your brother, then using that standard back on you, it was not sufficient for you either. So I cannot apply it and you have retained your debt. Matthew 18:34-35.
This is very serious.
If Christ’s payment was not enough to satisfy you, then it cannot be enough to satisfy Me. Whose sin you forgive is forgiven, whose sin you retain, is retained. By your words you are acquitted (declared righteous) and by your words you are condemned. If the Blood of Christ is not enough for your brother’s sin, it is not enough for yours. That is not My standard, for I have forgiven you in Christ already, but if you will not accept My standard, I cannot apply it to you. Just like when Elisha told the king’s attendant that I would give a miracle of abundance from famine in the next twenty-four hours, the attendant said I would not be able to do that and it would never happen. Elisha told him it would happen but he would not partake in it. Which was the result.
So what is your answer? My answer. I see and love in you what I see and love in Christ. Owe no one the debt except to love them. Jesus took your fault even though He did nothing to deserve it and took the punishment for your fault, so it is no longer your fault. In the world, they do not think like that, so if you committed a crime, even though you have taken Jesus as Lord and repented of that crime (with Me it is gone because Jesus paid for it already), but in the world you will still have a penalty to pay in this life. But with Me it is gone. So the one that stole from you or cheated you will still have a penalty, let Me take care of your vindication. It is your job to forgive as I have forgiven you and My job to see to it that justice is done. Vengeance is Mine. Your part is to forgive.
And if you or someone else has put you in a pit, and your life looks like a hopeless mess, that is kind of the way Elijah felt, stop the blaming and whining. My Holy Spirit can get you out of any pit, after all, He raised Jesus from the lowest depths of hell to the highest place in Heaven, and if your life is a mess, He can turn it into perfect order as He did hovering over the dark and void earth when I spoke creation into being, and through Him I can give you direction, protection, and pour My love in your heart so you can operate in My power and not in your own, so you can love as I love. Jesus came to undo the works of the devil and He is the same yesterday, today and forever.
Stop whining about your spouse, family, siblings, children, co-workers, boss, business associates, parents, or whoever else you have unforgiveness for, and stop gossiping about them and telling others what they did to you, take a lead from Joseph who never spoke badly about his brothers who threw him in a pit and sold him as a slave, and realize you are setting a standard that you do not want used back on you! Do onto others as you would have done unto you. Golden rule.
I love you. This is serious. Death and life are in the power of your tongue. Choose life that you and your descendants may live, prosper, and walk in the light of My love. That is where I want you and I have given you One that is with you and in you as your advocate, teacher, guide, leader, and who pulls with you on the helm. And the wonderful thing is, I will take care of all those who are hurting you and putting you into slavery. Remember Pharaoh and the Egyptian army? Let Me fight your battles, your job is to follow Me and do what I tell you to do. If you are willing and obey you will have the best of the land and I will make your scarlet sins as white as pure snow. Up to you. Pray in tongues and you will get more revelation on this.
