And Jesus answered him, “Simon, I have something to say to you.” And he replied, “Say it, Teacher.” “A moneylender had two debtors: one owed five hundred denarii, and the other fifty. When they were unable to repay, he graciously forgave them both. So which of them will love him more?” Simon answered and said, “I suppose the one whom he forgave more.” And He said to him, “You have judged correctly.”  Luke 7:40-43.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:

Stop thinking of your sins as a loss. See them as a gain once you have come to Jesus. For where sin abounds grace SUPERABOUNDS. Romans 5:20. Before you misunderstand what I am telling you, let Me ask you a question so you see what I want you to understand so you stop condemning yourself.

Who receives MORE, the one who only owes a small amount whose debt is paid off for him in full or the one who owes a HUGE amount and has his debt paid off for him in full? Obviously, the one who owed the huge amount received much more.

You (yes you!) have received more grace than anyone ever has. So you have no loss only gain. I not only paid off all the debt you owed divine justice for your sins and lawless deeds by the Blood of Jesus but I also made you My child and heir in Him. I not only paid off your debt but also gave you your living expenses for your keep for all eternity according to My riches in glory in Christ Jesus. I not only paid your debt in full but I also gave you the Kingdom. A son has a place in the house forever, especially the first born, and you are joint heirs with Christ, so you have the first-born inheritance, which is the double portion.

The one who is forgiven much, loves much and is far more grateful than the one who is forgiven less. Now that you are in Christ Jesus stop thinking of your sins as a loss to you. You have been bought with the highest price by Him who loves you and released you from your sins by His Blood. Revelation 1:5. You have become rich. For you know the grace of your Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, so that you through His poverty might become rich. 2 Corinthians 8:9.

Does this mean you should sin to get more grace? No. When you receive the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness you reign in life through Christ Jesus. Sin has no more power over you. And when you operate in grace and thanksgiving, grace multiplies, grace on top of grace. To the one who has, more will be given, ever increasing grace. You can operate in grace once you have received the abundance of grace. By thanksgiving and praise, being aware of what you have, the grace on you will increase and cause you to have joy unspeakable filled with glory.

Know this, that your old self was crucified with Jesus in order that your body of sin might be done away with, so that you would no longer be slaves to sin. Romans 6:6.

Even so, consider yourself to be dead to sin but alive to Me in Christ Jesus. This means your sin shall not be master over you—making you cry and hide from Me in fear as unaccepted and unloved, feeling loss. You are not under law, it was paid off, that is, the legal claims against you due to your sins and failings. I canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against you, which was hostile to you, and I have taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. Colossians 2:13-14. Let no one keep defrauding you of your prize by delighting in self-abasement.

And how did you get so rich? By doing deeds of righteousness? No, by receiving by faith. Ephesians 2:1-9.

I take all that was loss in your life and turn it in to gain. By grace. By the Blood of My Son. Love does that.

Your fault was great but My grace was greater.

You were all broken into fragments, but in Jesus all things hold together. Colossians 1:17. He sustains all by the Word of power. He is before all things, His goings forth are from long ago, from the days of eternity. This One will be peace. Micah 5:2, 5. Through Jesus I reconciled all things to Myself, having made peace through the Blood of His Cross. Colossians 1:20. The sin was great, but the grace was greater.

Just as you give the members of your body who are in pain, suffering, or malfunctioning more attention and care than the healthy, strong parts, so it is for you who sin. Jesus came to call sinners and you who believe are members of His Body.

In Jesus, you have redemption through His Blood, the forgiveness of your trespasses, according to the RICHES of My grace which I LAVISHED on you in Him. Ephesians 1:7.

Come to Me if you are weary and burdened under your sins and failings, and I will give you rest—superabundant grace. Learn from Me. Just ask and I will answer. For My yoke is easy and My burden light.

For if by the transgression of one death reigned through the one (Adam), MUCH MORE those who receive the ABUNDANCE of grace and the gift of righteousness reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ. Romans 5:17. Jesus did not just pay your debt, which was enormous—He gave you MUCH MORE. Overflowing grace. The great goodness I have stored up for those who love Me.

The free gift is not like the transgression. For if by the transgression of one the many died, MUCH MORE did My grace and the gift by grace of the One Man, Jesus Christ, ABOUND to the many. Romans 5:15. The abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness as made you kings and priests, the least to the greatest.

And now I think you will understand much better an incident in the life of Jesus on earth among you and a teaching He gave with it: “Now one of the Pharisees was requesting Jesus to dine with him, and He entered the Pharisee’s house and reclined at the table. And there was a woman in the city who was a sinner; and when she learned that He was reclining at the table in the Pharisee’s house, she brought an alabaster vial of perfume, and standing behind Him at His feet, weeping, she began to wet His feet with her tears, and kept wiping them with the hair of her head, and kissing His feet and anointing them with the perfume. Now when the Pharisee who had invited Him saw this, he said to himself, “If this man were a prophet, He would know who and what sort of person this woman is who is touching Him, that she is a sinner.” And Jesus answered him, “Simon, I have something to say to you.” And he replied, “Say it, Teacher.” “A moneylender had two debtors: one owed five hundred denarii, and the other fifty. When they were unable to repay, he graciously forgave them both. So which of them will love him more?” Simon answered and said, “I suppose the one whom he forgave more.” And He said to him, “You have judged correctly.” Turning toward the woman, He said to Simon, “Do you see this woman? I entered your house; you gave Me no water for My feet, but she has wet My feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair. You gave Me no kiss; but she, since the time I came in, has not ceased to kiss My feet. You did not anoint My head with oil, but she anointed My feet with perfume. For this reason I say to you, her sins, which are many, have been forgiven, for she loved much; but he who is forgiven little, loves little.” Then He said to her, “Your sins have been forgiven.” Those who were reclining at the table with Him began to say to themselves, “Who is this man who even forgives sins?” And He said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.” Luke 7:36-50.

Be in peace. Your loss has become gain. But My question, “Have you loved much?” Instead of crying and whining over your sins and beating yourself before Me have you stopped and thanked Me for forgiving all that by paying all you owed Me in FULL? And more on top of that so that your cup overflows. But if you have not noticed, you have not thanked, and are still depressed about your sins. But I want to you to know you are rich and the bigger the debt the richer you are because I paid more for you than any other.

I love you. Do you still not understand? I have filled up all you lack and made you complete in Christ. You have nothing to fear from your past, your present, or your future. You have lost nothing but gained all. I am there for you MUCH MORE, far beyond, all you can ask or imagine. And remember the bigger and more your sins have been, the higher the price that was paid to release you from your debt. You are much richer than you thought. Do not call your life a loss, call it a gain, if you are in Christ Jesus, that is. If you are not, is it not time you received Him? No loss, only gain. Where sin abounds, grace SUPERABOUNDS. In fact, it just floods it out. Sin is no longer master over you; you are much too rich and much too full to even give it the slightest bit of attention. Next time you slip through weakness, just confess it to Me and smile in gratitude and say, “Thank you, LORD, I just became richer. Abundance of grace.” And the grace will multiply. He who has, will receive more, grace upon grace, but the one who has not, will lose the little he thinks he has.
