Moses said to the LORD: “If you are pleased with me, teach me your ways so I may know you and continue to find favor with you.” Exodus 33:13.

The LORD replied, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” Exodus 33:14.

Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, having been firmly rooted and now being built up in Him and established by your faith, just as you were instructed, and overflowing with gratitude. Colossians 2:6-7.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:

Cast your bread upon the waters, it will return seven-fold.

Have you sinned? There is a debt. But I have good news for you poor, it is paid. When Jesus began His ministry in the synagogue at Nazareth, He announced that He had good news for the poor, the oppressed, the broken hearted, the blind and prisoners, He announced Jubilee—a year of favor. Now is the favorable time, now is the day of Salvation. It is an extended year of Jubilee, a time of grace. All debts forgiven and lost lands restored.

The one who is forgiven more, loves more. Your kinsman redeemer, Jesus, your brother, with no question, no accusations, and no blame has taken your dets, paid them in full (plus more on top of that) and restored to you all you lost. It is a favorable time for you who are in Christ Jesus.

Smile. Look up at Me and smile in gratitude, your face will never be ashamed. Your sins are paid for, your fault is taken, the snare is broken, and you are safe. Safe harbor. Home again with  nothing blocking the way. Run the path of the righteous and stop all your nonsense. I mean your self-condemnation, shame, and guilt. With what Jesus has done for you, it is ridiculous of you to harbor guilt and shame for things you have already confessed to Me and told Me you are sorry for them. Why are not you instead rejoicing at My wondrous love for you as manifested in Christ Jesus?

You may think your life is over, that your relationships with others have failed, that your dreams are gone and that you messed things up, but it is not all over. Jesus is the resurrection and the life. Nothing is too hard for Me, nothing is impossible, and all things are possible to the one who trusts in My power, grace, love, and mercy. You can rest in Jesus; He has taken away all that would harm you.

Believe in My love for you. While you were yet sinners, Christ died for you. He will do much more for you now that you are saved in Him. Grace upon grace.

Jesus told you that He gave you His peace, not as the world gives but as He gives. But He gave you a part to play in receiving His peace. He told you “Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful.” John 14:27. Many of you are not obeying that command and you think it is okay, but it is not. It will ruin your health and your destiny if you let your heart be troubled and fearful all day and night. Be like David and sing, “If I should say, ‘My foot has slipped,’ Your loving kindness, O LORD, will hold me up. When my anxious thoughts multiply within me, Your consolations delight my soul.” Psalm 93:18-19.

I tell you about the Israelites who refused to enter the Promised Land despite My many magnificent promises of victory and prosperity to them that for forty years I loathed that generation and said “They are a people who err in their heart, and they do not know My ways. Psalm 95:10. They saw My magnificent works but it did them no good for they did not know My ways. That comes from fellowship.

Moses prayed to know My ways. He prayed to Me: “Now therefore I pray You, if I have found favor in Your sight let me know Your ways that I may know You so that I may find favor in Your sight.” And what did I answer him? “My presence shall go with you and I will give you rest.” Exodus 33:13.

And you may not have caught that, but I was showing Moses my ways. My Way? Resting in Me by remaining in My Word and letting it remain in you. Faith is a rest. In faith you do mighty deeds by My Spirit but they are not anxious, harried, burn-out works. They grow like fruit on a branch attached to a vine, the natural output of the input from abiding in the vine. It is the abiding life. It is uniting the Word with faith that brings you into My rest. Hebrews 4:2.

My way is Jesus, you are to be in Him, abiding in Him, with your roots down deep in Him drawing everything you need from Him. He told you to come to Him and learn from Him and your souls would find rest. I make you complete in Him. He is preparing a place for you and then He takes you there. Your good Shepherd and great High Priest. I know what I am doing for you, as your Shepherd Jesus leads you and provides for you in your life on earth, as your great High Priest, He unites you to Me in intimate union as One, atoning for and removing your sin and presenting you holy, blameless and beyond reproach before Me. I have provided in Him ALL you need for life and godliness. He is your ransom, your redemption, your sanctification, your righteousness, and your wisdom. He is your kinsman redeemer you pays all your debts, sets you free, and restores territory to you.

So what are My ways? All-encompassing provision for you now and for all eternity. You can rest by faith in My everlasting arms reached out to you in Jesus, your Lord, and My gift to you that never stops giving. Not because you deserved it but because you did not deserve it and could not earn it. I so loved you that I gave you Jesus so that you will NEVER perish. Now or eternally. For what the law could not do (that is, your works), weak as it was through the flesh, I took care of by sending My Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin. I condemned sin in the flesh so that the requirement of the law might be fulfilled in you who do not walk according (dictated to) by the flesh (resulting in regret and self-condemnation) but according to the Spirit (testifies with your spirit that you are My child and your sins and offenses I remember no more). If you set your mind on the flesh (limited to what you see and feel by your five senses only) it is death (no ease, no peace). But if you set your mind on the Spirit it is life and peace. Rest.

If you walk in the flesh only you cannot please Me because you have no faith and will grumble, whine, complain, blame, have anxiety, be selfish, and be depressed more than you have joy and peace.

When you let your heart be troubled and afraid you are walking in the flesh. When your mind is set on the flesh you are actually hostile to Me like the Israelites were in the desert. Romans 8:7, Hebrews 3 -4. Though they had seen the mighty works I did to redeem them from slavery in Egypt, they kept testing Me and trying Me—challenging Me to perform for them instead of resting with joy and peace in My promises to them and walking them out. They cried all night in fear about the giants in the Promised Land, and yet I had told them they were there but that I would send My angel ahead of them to rout them out. Instead of weeping they should have been rejoicing at all I was going to do for them and give them if they would just go in with Me. It grieved Me for they drew back and never let Me have the joy of giving them all the wonderful, magnificent things I had stored up for them.

Test yourself to see if you are in the faith, examine yourself. 2 Corinthians 13:5. For without faith you cannot please Me because you stop Me from rewarding you. Whether your mind is set on the flesh or on the Spirit will produce very different behavior. Your joy and peace level reveals your faith level. So right now think about your mindset for the past few days. Have you been rejoicing, praising, singing, and declaring the victory? Or have you been afraid, depressed, sad, and complaining? Do you not know Jesus is in you? Your hope of glory. And that you are a temple of the Holy Spirit? That should make you shout for joy right there.

Maybe now would be a good time for you to open up Psalm 25 and lift up your soul to Me, and pray with David, “Make me know Your ways, O LORD, teach me your paths.” Psalm 25:4. And if you read on, you will find I teach the humble My way. And David went on to sing, “My eyes are continually toward the LORD for He will pluck my feet from the snare.” Psalm 25:15. And then, “the troubles of my heart are enlarged, bring me out of my distresses.” Psalm 25:17.

I love you. The best times are those we spend together in joyful fellowship. Do not moan and groan when you come to pray, have faith in Me. I do in you.
