Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation, namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation. 2 Corinthians 5:17-19.

When you were dead in your transgressions and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made you alive together with Him, having forgiven us all our transgressions, having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. Colossians 2:13-14.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:

Reconciliation. It is more than forgiving, it is reuniting as one. True reconciliation can only happen when both parties have opened up their hearts to one another and agreed to let the other party back into intimacy with them. Reconciliation is reunion as one. Its perfect result is a bonding that is stronger than before that can never be broken again. Reconciliation is a new creation of a severed relationship. Perfect reconciliation creates a relationship that is something entirely fresh and new, making the break as if it had never been.

Man had broken the relationship with Me by sin and rebellion. He had a spirit of harlotry in that he broke intimacy with Me to become his own god but this led him to come under the domination of another relationship, this time with evil instead of good, darkness instead of light, and death instead of life. And you become like the one you serve, the one you have made your master. If the head of the household is the devil, so goes the entire household. Be careful whom you make your leader. You will share the judgment they receive. Everyone becomes like the teacher they follow.

When you had gone far from Me and severed our relationship, I kept seeking to draw you back into Myself, to reconcile us in a covenant relationship. But it seemed the more I sought and called you, the farther away that you ran, seeking other relationships that were not of Me, other gods and other sources. Hosea 11:1-2. But there is no other God and you have no other source for your life and being. All life is from Me, is sustained by Me, and returns to Me. There is no other power that creates and sustains and never ends. Only Me. And I am love and that is the strongest power there is, love is far stronger than death. Love raised from death to life. Love is the resurrection and the life. And you find My love manifested and summed up in one Name, in One Word, in One God/Man, Jesus. Which is Hebrew is rendered “Yeshuah” which literally means one word that says everything wonderful, Salvation. And in His person He has reconciled God and man into one in an unbreakable covenant relationship of awesome power. New creation power. Resurrection power. Holy Spirit power. God power. Righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

Now all these things are from Me, who reconciled you to Myself in Christ, flowing to you in the Holy Spirit poured into your hearts by Jesus, filling you with divine life as a partaker in the divine nature in an everlasting covenant of love entered into by Jesus as your great High Priest with Me your Creator, Father, and LORD.

I reconciled you who were far off to Myself through Christ, for I was in Christ reconciling the world to Myself, not counting (logizomai: reckoning, compute, account (an accounting term), to charge with, to take into account) their trespasses against them, and I have committed to you the Word of reconciliation. I have given to you who have come back to Me, reconciled with Me in Christ, the ministry of reconciliation for the whole world to come back to Me so that all know Me from the least to the greatest, so that the earth is covered in the knowledge of My glory as the waters cover the sea. Rivers of living water overflowing out of every believer to give drink to a thirsty world.

I made Jesus who knew no sin to be sin on your behalf so that you can become the righteousness of God in Him. I so loved the world I gave you My only begotten Son so that all who believe in Him will not perish but have eternal life. Reconciled, your sins and offenses I remember NO MORE. I am not counting your sins against you; they have been reckoned to Christ. Your faith in Him is reckoned to you as righteousness, just like faithful Abraham.

Never forget who paid your debt. And how do you remember? Jesus told you the night before He shed every drop of His pure blood to pay the debt due to your sins. When He had taken bread and given thanks, He broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” And in the same way He took the cup after they had eaten, saying, “This cup which is poured out for you is the new covenant in My blood.” Luke 22:19-20. And this is so important, I revealed it to My apostle Paul years later and he writes to you, “ For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus in the night in which He was betrayed took bread; and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “This is My body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” In the same way He took the cup also after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood; do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.” For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes.” 1 Corinthians 11:23-26. You proclaim, you remember, the price He paid for you to be reconciled with Me as one. Never forget who paid your debt. No one else could have done it. There was no other without sin to become a pure and unblemished offering for your sins.

You have been bought with a price. He has paid your entrance into the Covenant with Him. He is in covenant with you. He gave His body for you. He gave His blood for you. “This is My Body which is for YOU.” That is the talk of the covenant of two becoming one. The marriage covenant is an earthly shadow of a heavenly realty. I have espoused you to Me forever. And what happens in the marriage covenant? Read in My Word: “The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does; and likewise also the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does.” 1 Corinthians 4:7. Your body is not your own anymore that you should give its members to impurity, overindulgence, and those things that destroy it. It is now a pure vessel unto Me, your  body is now part of the body of Christ. And you do not take His members and give them over to sin and death. The married person is busy trying to please the spouse, and with believers it is the same, you who are joined in Covenant with Me are concerned about My affairs that you may be holy as I am holy in both body and spirit. 1 Corinthians 7:34. Jesus is pure and everyone who has this hope on Him purifies himself, just as He is pure. 1 John 3:3.

And in Covenant with you I clothe you in My garments of salvation and robe of righteousness, I clothe you in Christ. Just as Jonathan, the greater one in goods, gave his cloak and armor to David when they entered into covenant, so I do with you. And Jesus gives His body for you and makes you part of His body. And He nurtures and cares for His body, the Church as the husband does for the wife. He is the savior of the body. He gave Himself for and to you. He came to serve you, not to be served, to give His life as ransom for you. He emptied Himself to enrich you. That is covenant. That is church. That is love.

I love you with an everlasting life and everything I have is yours. That is covenant and that is reconciliation at its finest, highest, and fullest, when the restored relationship becomes more than a mere relationship but a complete giving of each to the other. You are with Me always and all that is Mine is yours in Christ. The new and everlasting covenant sealed in the precious blood of My Son. And it is yours by faith in the One who loved you and gave Himself up for you. Never forget who paid your debt.

And through Jesus to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross. Colossians 1:20.
