And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 1 John 5:11
For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God. 2 Corinthians 1:20.
The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of His being, sustaining all things by His powerful word. Hebrews 1:3.
And this is what he promised us—even eternal life. 1 John 2:25
Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:
Today I want to talk with you about signatures. Your signature is the mark that represents you. When you sign something it means you are saying “Yes.” That you will pay, that you will perform, or that you will waive something. To sum it up it means you authorize what you sign. You are ready to do it.
You sign binding agreements. And your signature is the same as your word. Many years ago people made oral contracts. There still are such but most people do not hold them as enforceable as signed ones. But really, you are only as reliable as your word.
Each person’s signature is different. No two people are exactly alike. When people copy your signature and sign something using your signature that obligates you, it is called forgery and it is a crime.
Now, I have a signature too. It is what represents and binds Me. It is My Word. You have My Word. I watch over My Word to perform it. Jeremiah 1:12. My Word is established forever in Heaven. Psalm 119:89. My Word is truth and it does not change.
And My Word became flesh and dwelt among you. When you see Jesus, you see Me. He is the exact representation of My Being. All My promises find their “yes” and “amen” in Him. 2 Corinthians 1:20. He is My signature. For however many are My promises, their “Yes” is in Him and I have established and anointed you in Christ, and I have put My seal upon you and given you My Spirit in your hearts as a first installment and guarantee of the fulfillment of My Promise. 2 Corinthians 1:21-22.
And what is that promise? No less than this—Eternal Life. And Jesus, My Word incarnate, is My guarantee to you of eternal life. As it is written in the first letter of John: “And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.” 1 John 5:11.
Do you understand the depth of what I am telling you? I am telling you that I have promised you eternal life. You will live forever. And how do I achieve this promise when you now have mortal bodies subject to decay? By My promise of the Holy Spirit, with Whom you are now sealed. The Holy Spirit is My pledge to you of Eternal Life. My first installment of immortality within your body, so that though your mortal bodies die and are subject to decay because of sin but your spirits are alive because of the gift of righteousness for those who take My Son as Lord. And if My Spirit, and it is My Eternal Spirit that raised Christ’s body to be a glorious resurrected body, is living in you, then just as I raised Christ from the dead, I will also give life to your mortal bodies through My Spirit, who lives in you. Romans 8:11.
You are in Covenant with Me and it is an eternal Covenant signed and sealed in the Blood of My Son. It is guaranteed by My Word. And its promise is ultimately eternal life. This is the greatest promise I can give you. All the other promises point to that and pale in comparison. My Covenant promises to you of healing, protection, blessing, prosperity, victory, and the forgiveness of your sins are all “yes” in Christ but there is a level higher, a place where you will not need healing because there is no illness, pain or disease, a place where you will already have perfect protection because there is no curse or danger there—Eternal Life is awesome. It is life with Me, it is knowing Me and the One Whom I sent, Jesus Christ. It is drinking from life-giving streams of crystal clear water flowing from My throne. It is a Kingdom of righteousness, peace and joy. You will not age or ever die again there. It is things back the way they were always meant to be before Adam brought the curse into the earth and your bodies became subject to death, which includes aging and decay.
It is coming home.
I have given you My Word and have sealed it with My Spirit that when your body dies that is not the end of your life. I will raise you from the dead by My Spirit in you and you will live in My presence forever. Absent from the body, present with Me. And in My presence there is fullness of joy. The delights at My right hand forever.
King’s decrees and important documents are not only signed but sealed. They are usually sealed with the King’s ring. I have set My seal of approval upon Christ. John 6:27. He is the testimony, the guarantee of My promises, that I send to you and I place My seal of approval on Him. My Covenant with you is signed, sealed and delivered. It cannot be altered. And it is no less than this—eternal life.
So know that you have healing, forgiveness, prosperity, protection, and peace promised to you in this age and eternal life in the age to come. I have set My signature (My Word) to perform these for those who have faith.
Your signature represents you and your promise to perform under contract. My Son, My Word, represents Me and the Covenant I have made with Him as your representative and High Priest. And I watch over My Word to perform it.
If you are in My Son, that is you have come under His jurisdiction by taking Him as Lord, you are in Covenant with Me and have a right under that contract to obtain your covenant promises of health, healing, prosperity, protection, provision, etc. But above all, you have a right to claim eternal life– the most important promise of all. A life of perfect freedom, beauty, love, and peace that is free from pain, sickness, grief, or anything that is from the curse. And this beautiful existence is forever. It was what I planned for you from the start, but now I have promised it to you and signed it in the Blood of My Son.
