Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children; and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma. Ephesians 5:1-2.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:
Obedience from the heart is the most beautiful of the virtues because it makes you just like Me. Obedience is not a popular word in society today but that is because people have not been taught what true obedience to My Word is. Obedience starts with submission but it becomes co-mission and brings forth perfect fruition. It is a total oneness of purpose and production which releases My tremendous power and results in perfect peace and joy.
Obedience is walking with Me. Obedience is agreeing with Me. Obedience is being like Me.
My servant Paul in his letter to the Ephesians writes by inspiration of My Spirit many things about how your lifestyle in Christ should look and he goes into detail about what should be coming out of your mouth and what you should be doing with your time and your thoughts and how you should be conducting your conversation and relationships with others, but then he sums it all up in one sentence: “Therefore, be imitators of God as His beloved children and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma.” Ephesians 5:1-2. I make a difference between the son who serves Me and the one who does not, even in this life. Malachi 3:17-18.
Obedience is becoming just like Me. I am love. Pure love. I am light, pure light. It is a whole new dimension. OBEDIENCE IS BEING IN PERFECT UNION WITH LOVE. And perfect love casts out all fear as well as hate, bitterness, anxiety, unforgiveness, angry rude speech, covetousness, and the like. Love never harms the neighbor, whether by gossip, slander, or acts of violence or theft.
Attach, abide, remain until My blood flows in your veins. It is a total oneness with Me because we agree on all things, and that is true obedience. It is not just a rote obeying of the letter; it is something so much greater and better. It is the path to life, the narrow way, that you walk together with Me. Enoch walked with Me, and he was not, for I took him. Genesis 5:24. A perfect union. He became so close to Me that it pulled Enoch into the Bosom of My presence and made him a changed man. The old fleshy Enoch was no longer there, now he was like Me. Remember what My servant Paul wrote? “I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.” Galatians 2:19-20. Jesus told you, “The Father and I are One.” And He prayed you would be One with us too along with all believers—the same focus, the same values, the same desires, the same purpose, that is obedience from the heart. It is authority and power over the evil in the earth. It is reigning in life through Christ Jesus. After My Son rose from the dead and returned to Me, people, when they observed the confidence of the disciples and understood that they were uneducated and untrained men, were amazed until they recognized that the disciples had been with Jesus. Acts 4:13.
Obedience brings BLESSING. Disobedience brings the curse. Why? If you are obedient to love and light, your life will be a harvest of love and light, and the fruit of the Light consists in all goodness and righteousness and truth. Ephesians 5:9. And when you walk in the light, the blood of My Son continually cleanses you. 1 John 1:7.
If you walk in disobedience, you walk in disagreement and rebellion to love and light. You walk in darkness and you harvest the deeds done in darkness, which destroy your life, your destiny, your health, and your purpose. Without love and light, you become an abomination to yourself and others. Like Samson, like King Saul, like Jezebel and Ahab. Cruel, living in hatred and being hated, finally perishing in violence with all relieved you are gone.
Which do you prefer? Death and life are in the power of your tongue and your tongue speaks from the abundance of your heart. A heart turned to Me with a desire to keep My Word at any cost to the lusts of your flesh is the most beautiful gift you can give Me, your family, your friends, your co-workers, your ministry, and yourself.
In seeing Jesus, you see Me, He came to reveal Me and to draw you to Me in reunification and restoration. And He became your scapegoat to do this so you could freely come to Me with no dividing wall between us. Reconciled. But once you are in Him, you are to be conformed to His image by the renewing of your mind, which works a transformation by revelation and impartation from darkness to light.
The journey to oneness of heart with Me starts when you step aside from seeking only yourself and invite Me in to do a mighty work in you. And when you do this, I seal you in Christ and He becomes wisdom to you from Me, and righteousness and sanctification and redemption. Ephesians 1:13, 1 Corinthians 1:30. I, in turn, invite you into My own Kingdom and glory. 1 Thessalonians 2:12. And when you receive My Word, it also performs its work in you who believe. 1 Thessalonians 2:13. My Words are spirit and life. They cleanse, heal, and deliver.
Hearing and obeying and speaking My Words will change you into being just like Me. And that is obedience. But there is more, it will also open Heaven to you in such a way that you begin to see the miraculous happen in your life daily, even hourly, until you are overwhelmed with My goodness. I want to release My goodness and I am looking for those whose hearts are turned to Me so I can show Myself strong on their behalf. I want My glory (My goodness, power and presence) released into the earth through you. And when you do the works Jesus did and greater, your life becomes a BLESSING go all.
Now I will submit for your meditation the teaching I gave Moses for the Israelites on the BLESSING which is yours in Jesus:
“Now it shall be, if you diligently hear and obey the LORD your God, being careful to do all His commandments which I command you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth. All these blessings will come upon you and overtake you if you hear and obey the LORD your God: Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the country. Blessed shall be the offspring of your body and the produce of your ground and the offspring of your beasts, the increase of your herd and the young of your flock. Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl. Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out. The LORD shall cause your enemies who rise up against you to be defeated before you; they will come out against you one way and will flee before you seven ways. The LORD will command the blessing upon you in your barns and in all that you put your hand to, and He will bless you in the land which the LORD your God gives you. The LORD will establish you as a holy people to Himself, as He swore to you, if you keep the commandments of the LORD your God and walk in His ways. So all the peoples of the earth will see that you are called by the name of the LORD, and they will be afraid of you. The LORD will make you abound in prosperity, in the offspring of your body and in the offspring of your beast and in the produce of your ground, in the land which the Lord swore to your fathers to give you. The LORD will open for you His good storehouse, the heavens, to give rain to your land in its season and to bless all the work of your hand; and you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow. The LORD will make you the head and not the tail, and you only will be above, and you will not be underneath, if you listen to the commandments of the LORD your God, which I charge you today, to observe them carefully, and do not turn aside from any of the words which I command you today, to the right or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.” Deuteronomy 28:1-14.
Obedience is being in perfect union with love. Obedience is becoming just like Me. And that is where all the power, goodness, and BLESSING reside. Obedience puts you in heavenly realms and that really is the only place you want to be. Obedience is the story with a happy ending. Every time and all the time.
I love you. There are great blessings in obedience. Why? Because it has taken you out of the realm of darkness into the realm of your Father in Light. It has made you into one with Me in focus, values, desires, and purpose. And My ways are lovingkindness and truth. And that is the only way to live a truly happy life. Forever.
