The LORD’s lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, for His compassions never fail, are new every morning, great is Your faithfulness. The LORD is my portion,” says my soul, “Therefore I have hope in Him.” Lamentations 3:22-24.

When the dew settled on the camp at night, the manna also came down. Numbers 11:9.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:

Each morning My mercies are new. Like the manna that came down on the dew fall each morning before dawn as the Israelites slept, so are My blessings for each day. Numbers 11:9; Exodus 16:14. But as the sun arose, the Israelites had to go out and gather the manna or when the sun grew too hot, it would melt away. Exodus 16:21. And everyone gathered as much as he should eat, and he who gathered much had no excess, and he who gathered little had no lack. Exodus 16:18.

The manna fell each morning without fail in the predawn darkness all the years that My people journeyed in the wilderness on their way to their destination—the overflowing abundance of the Promised Land, and when they reached the Promised Land and feasted on its produce, the manna of the desert journey was no longer necessary and it ceased to fall. Joshua 5:12, Exodus 16:35. Instead they lived in a land overflowing with milk and honey. As Moses told the Israelites of their destination while they still wandered in the wilderness on their way there: “For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and springs, flowing forth in valleys and hills; a land of wheat and barley, of vines and fig trees and pomegranates, a land of olive oil and honey; a land where you will eat food without scarcity, in which you will not lack anything; a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills you can dig copper.” Deuteronomy 8:7-9.

If the Israelites did not go out by faith in My faithfulness each morning they did not eat.

Do you see?

I send down My blessings, My mercies, My lovingkindnesses—showers of blessings—new every morning in the predawn darkness, all you need for the day, but to partake of them you must go out and gather them.

How?

Man does not live by bread alone but every Word that comes from My mouth. For as the dew, rain, and snow come down from heaven, and do not return there without watering the earth, and making it bear and sprout, and furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so will My Word be which goes forth from My mouth. It will not return to Me empty, without accomplishing what I desire, and without succeeding in that for which I sent it. For you will go out with joy (you gather with joyful singing, as Isaiah foretold: “the Lord is my strength and song and has become for me Salvation”—with joy you will draw water from the springs of Yeshuah.” Isaiah 12) and be led forth with peace.” Isaiah 55:10-12.

Do not be like the man who looks only to men and makes his own flesh his strength, and whose heart turns away from Me, I liken such a man to a barren bush in the desert who fails to see good when it comes and lets it go right by without gathering it, for he will live his life in stony wastes in the wilderness, a land of salt without inhabitant. Jeremiah17:5. And how do I tell you to avoid that? “Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, and whose trust is the LORD. For he will be like a tree planted by the water, that extends its roots by a stream and will not fear when the heat comes; but its leaves will be green, and it will not be anxious in a year of drought nor cease to yield fruit.” Jeremiah 17:7-8. And how do you become like that flourishing tree? The answer is in the very first of all the psalms and it is very simple: the one who does not seek his counsel from godless sinners who deny Me and does not scoff at My Word, but the one who delights in My Words and meditates (seeks, gathers, reads, chews, speaks, employs, mumbles and ponders) in My Word day and night. Psalm 1:1-2. And to what do I liken that man? “He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in its season and its leaf does not wither; and in whatever he does, he prospers.” Psalm 1:3.

The manna of My Word has come down like the dewfall and it never ceases. If you gather it, it will be in your heart and in your mouth for as long as you will keep it with you. It is a never ending supply of life and healing. Proverbs 4:22; Psalm 107:20.

But you need to chew on it. Ponder it. Speak it. Take it as your own. Employ My Words as your employees, but My Word to work in your life.  When My Words were found Jeremiah devoured them and they became the joy and delight of his heart. And I revealed the New Covenant and the LORD your righteousness to him.  And he foretold the exact number of years that My people would be exiled to Babylon and why they would go there. He tried to warn them and tell them how to avoid that defeat and exile, but they would not listen. I opened the heavens to Jeremiah and showed him My throne.  It is good to wait on Me in the morning by gathering My Words to you for the day.

You must start your day with worship, prayer and My Word if you want to have a blessed and fruitful day. You must be able to see the good when it comes and gather it. You need to eat or you will be too weak for the journey. And My Words are life to those who find them and health to all their flesh. You need to employ them. You need to put the to work to change your world and that of those around you.

And when do I tell you to gather it? In the morning, but not to stop there. I then tell you to call it to mind during the day as you go about your journeys. I told this to Moses to share with My people so their lives would be prosperous and filled with good things like days of Heaven on earth—that My Words were not idle words but their very life, which they should keep in their hearts and should talk of them when they sat in their houses and when they walked by the way and when they lay down for the night and when they rose in the morning. Deuteronomy 6:6-7.

Begin the day in My Word and the key to revelation is worship. So begin your appointment with Me with joyful songs of praise and you shall draw water from the springs of salvation. You shall then drink from the river of delight and enjoy the abundance of My house. Let Me usher you into the banquet hall of My Word where My banner over you is love. For man does not live on bread alone by on every word from My mouth. And many people are starving to death, not physical but emotionally and spiritually.

Do not concentrate on the thorns—the worries of the world and the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things—these choke off My Word and make you unfruitful. They are very bad employees for your inner business.  Come up higher. Get your focus on My Words to you every morning. They will be a light to your path and give direction, correction, solutions, and joy to your heart. And you will have peace.

And remember to then do as David and Daniel, and Paul and so many others did. You will find much about My Word as instruction for living and being free from sin in Psalm 119.  “I hate and despise falsehood, but I love Your law. Seven times a day I praise You, because of Your righteous ordinances. Those who love Your Word have great peace, and nothing causes them to stumble.” Psalm 119:163-165. Seven times a day—like many small meals to keep your energy levels up and your blood sugar perfect. And again: “I rise before the dawning of the morning, and cry for help; I hope in Your word.”  Psalm 119:147. “Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning, for in You do I trust; Cause me to know the way in which I should walk, For I lift up my soul to You.” Psalm 143:8. “But as for me, I shall sing of Your strength; yes, I shall joyfully sing of Your lovingkindness in the morning.” Psalm 59:16. “But I, O LORD, have cried out to You for help and in the morning my prayer comes before You.” Psalm 88:13. “It is good to give thanks to you O LORD, and to sing praises to Your Name, O Most High; to declare Your lovingkindness in the morning and your faithfulness by night.” Psalm 92:1-2. “I rise before dawn and cry for help, I wait for Your words.” Psalm 119:147. “Let me hear Your lovingkindness in the morning; for I trust in You; teach me the way in which I should walk, for to You I lift up my soul.” Psalm 143:8.

But the final word on it is that Jesus, in His busy day, set the morning time aside for Me. “In the early morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house, and went away to a secluded place, and was paying there.” Mark 1:35. The one thing necessary. He practiced what He preached.

Each morning My mercies are new. But they never cease. You can gather them and employ them all day.

I have blessed you with every spiritual blessing in the heavenlies in Christ Jesus. Ephesians 1:3. There is an abundant account for you in Heaven that Jesus has filled with all you need for life and godliness. 1 Peter 1:3-5; 2 Peter 1:3-4. Bring those blessings down. Make it rain showers of blessing on your day, every day, all day. It is there for you. And no thief can still it or moth or rust corrode it. It is eternal treasure from an eternal redemption.

Send up praise around My golden altar in Heaven and bring down the rain (showers of blessing, the incense censor) and shake the world, loose the chains, destroy strongholds. And I will provide it every day without ceasing until you reach your eternal destination—the true Promised Land—and there the abundance will all be set before you never to diminish as I lavish My grace on you for all the ages to come.

Gather My Word every morning and let it sustain you all the day. The one who easts this Bread will never hunger again and will live forever.

And the night before the manna appeared on the desert for the first time, was the first time My glory showed up where men could see it. So start with manna in the morning—worship, prayer and My Word, and end with the Word in the evening and the glory will be there to guide you as a pillar of fire at night and a cloud in the day.  Let Me be your morning star every morning, Revelation 2:28, Revelation 22:18, and your bright sun all the day, Malachi 4:2, and your glory in the evening, I shall abide with you always.

I love you. Do not miss the one thing necessary for everything else to follow.
