This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth; but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin. 1 John 1:5-7.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:
Let there be Light. Light is the answer. Wisdom’s Light. Heaven’s Light. Children of the Light. The Light of life. The armor of Light. Walking in the Light. A people living in darkness have seen a great Light. The Light of the world.
“For you were formerly darkness, but now you are Light in the LORD.” Ephesians 5:8. How did you get that way? I rescued you from the domain of darkness and transferred you to the Kingdom of My beloved Son in whom you have redemption, the forgiveness of your sins by His blood. Colossians 1:13. In Him, I have qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in Light. Colossians 1:11.
My Kingdom is a Kingdom of Light. In fact, I am Light. I am Love and I am also Light. There is no night in the Heavenly City. Have you never read, “the city has no need of the sun or of the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God has illumined it, and its lamp is the Lamb. The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it. In the daytime (for there will be no night there) its gates will never be closed. Revelation 21:23-25.
The entrance of My Word gives Light. My Word is a light to your path and a lamp to your feet. And the Lamp is the Lamb, Jesus is My Word so it should not surprise you that He is the Light of the world. No follower of His will ever walk in darkness, he will have the Light of Life, for if you continue in My Word, you are truly His disciples and you will know the truth and it will set you free.
My Words are spirit and life. They are Words of eternal life. In Jesus is life, and the life is the Light of men. And the life that is in My Son is eternal life. 1 John 5:11. He will light your lamp with His eternal life. Your spirit is a My lamp and when you are born again in Christ your lamp receives its Light from Him, the Light of the world, you light from His flame, and that is the anointing. On the Golden Lampstand, the Menorah, the lamps were oil lamps. He is the Messiah, the Christ. He is your great High Priest and His anointing is on His Body, which is the Church, of which you are a member when you receive Him as Lord.
No one, after lighting a lamp, puts it away in a cellar nor under a basket, but on the lampstand, so that those who enter may see the light. The eye is the lamp of your body; when your eye is clear, your whole body also is full of light; but when it is bad, your body also is full of darkness. Then watch out that the light in you is not darkness. If therefore your whole body is full of light, with no dark part in it, it will be wholly illumined, as when the lamp illumines you with its rays. Luke 11:33-36.
David sang, “You alone, O LORD, light my lamp, you illumine my darkness.” Psalm 18:28. Lamps lit and burning ready for your Master’s return.
What is all this about Light? Why is it so prevalent in My Word?
I am Light and in Me there is no darkness at all. 1 John 1:5. If you say you have fellowship with Me and walk in darkness, you lie and do not practice the truth. 1 John 1:6. This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and man loved the darkness rather than the light for their deeds were evil. For everyone who does evil hates the Light and does not come into the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. But he who practices the truth comes into the Light so that his deeds may be manifested as done in Me. John 3:19-2.
Here is a rule of thumb: If you don’t want others to know what you did or said, it is darkness and not Light and you MUST not say it or do it.
Jesus was transparent, everything He did was in the Light and could be shown to the world. Satan had no part in Him.
If you cannot bring it into the light, of you have to hide it, it is wrong.
DO NOT SAY ANYTHING YOU WOULD NOT WANT QUOTED FOR POSTERITY.
Leave a legacy of Light.
Do you know why light is so special? Light heals, cleanses, and protects. People will not do evil in the light. If you put a spotlight on a criminal, he will stop his discrete activity immediately. Shine the light on evil and it will disperse quickly. Dark alleys are places of crime, they are hidden for undercover activity. But if you shine light in, the darkness has to retreat.
LIVE IN THE LIGHT (SPOTLIGHT) OF MY LOVE AND YOU WILL NEVER SIN. Have a transparent life of Light. No matter which way you turn, you will shine for all in you is light.
Would you lie, steal, take drugs or alcohol in excess, gossip, talk evil about others, commit adultery, fornication or other impure acts out in the light for ALL to see? No. Then you can exercise self-control.
My eyes are flames of fire that light the world and My eyes are always upon you for good and not evil.
Learn how to walk in the Light. Let Me light up your life with the Light of My Love. It always makes things better once you have stopped hiding them in the dark and brought them out into the Light. Why? Because the fruit of light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth. Ephesians 5:9. So learn what is pleasing to Me and that is a good way to walk in the Light. Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them. Bring every area of your life into the Light. All things become visible when they are exposed to the light, for everything that becomes visible is light. Ephesians 5:13.
Singing praise and joyously giving thanks brings you out of darkness into the Light. Ephesians 5:19; Colossians 1:10-11. For I am your Light and your Salvation, whom shall you fear? When you are in the Light there is no reason to fear the darkness, it can never overcome light. Just try to keep a room dark when you turn on the lights. You cannot. The best way to conquer evil is good, that is, let the Light shine in.
You are under an open Heaven. Keep the communication with the realm of Light open. Let My Face shine on you. I have things to impart that you will not pick up unless you are listening. Give attention to My Words, incline your ear to My sayings.
Many have been lost for lack of focus on the Light. In the dark you will stumble for you cannot see where you are going or if there are obstacles in your path. In the Light you will not find stumbling blocks a surprise. Blessed is the man who finds no stumbling block in Me.
You have the prophetic Word made sure, to which you do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star arises in your hearts. 2 Peter 1:19. There are so many things you are worried and bothered about, but really only one thing is necessary. Luke 10:41-42. And what is that? Keep in the Light as Martha’s sister Mary did. Keep yourself always seated with Christ listening to His Word, keep that line of communication open. Keep your eyes on the Light of the world and you will never walk in darkness. But you may be asking how to do that since Jesus is no longer walking among you in the flesh as He was for Martha and Mary. And I say simply, He is My Word, so focus your attention on My Word and not the darkness that is around you in the world. It will be a light to your path and a lamp to your feet. My Word illumines the darkness around you. The entrance of My Word gives Light. If you know that the scourging of My Son you are healed, you will stay in the Light of healing and no darkness can continue to dull your hearing and seeing so that I cannot heal you.
Let My light shine in your hearts. But if you insist on doing the deeds of darkness you will retreat from My light. And if you shut the light out, there is not much that I can do for you because I am LIGHT and in Me there is NO darkness at all. How can light and darkness have fellowship? They cannot.
I love you, keep yourself always in the Light. Which is keeping yourself in My love. Love and Light go together as ONE. For I AM both.
Live in the light and you will never sin. Say and do nothing that you would not want quoted and remembered for posterity. If you cannot say it for another to hear, do not say it.
