And there will no longer be any night; and they will not have need of the light of a lamp nor the light of the sun, because the Lord God will illumine them; and they will reign forever and ever. Revelation 21:5.
Many, O LORD my God, are the wonders You have done, and the plans You have for us—none can compare to You—if I proclaim and declare them, they are more than I can count. Psalm 40:5.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:
Awe and wonder. This is the time you will see things taking place beyond what you could have asked or imagined. I am the God of wonders. My Name is Wonderful.
Length of days. Oreck yamin in Hebrew. It is often in My Word but is usually translated “forever.” It speaks of eternity. And today that is what I want to share with you.
The majority of people concentrate very hard on this mortal life you are in now—what they are doing, what they are feeling, what their thoughts are, what they want to do, what they should do, how to prosper, how to have bodily health, who to have relationships with, their goals, their disappointments, even their bitterness, anger, and resentments about others, themselves, or even Me, and I am not saying your life on earth is not important, it is very important to Me and should be to you also for you have to live it every day and it determines your eternity, but your mortal life here on earth is extremely short compared to the length of days, that is, eternity, that I speak of so often in My Word. And most people do not give much thought to it, I do not mean whether they are going to Heaven but what they are going to be doing there. I think this should be of interest to you.
Do you ever wonder what you will be doing in the endless day of eternity? I tell you that My plans for you outnumber the sands of the seashore and the stars of the sky, do you ever wonder how that could be? Because they span eternity. Oh yes, My plans for you of shalom and not evil, to give you a future and a hope are not limited to this mortal life only but continue beyond the veil to the life of the redeemed in the Kingdom.
In this present life of time as you know it there is only one thing necessary and when you do that one thing, then your eternity is assured. And eternity is where you will be forever. In this present life of the flesh you are only preparing for eternity.
I give you many pieces of information about the eternal life you will live. Those who have received Jesus as Lord will have a wondrous eternity with Me as your Father, and much more than that, but those who have rejected Him as Lord will have a hideous eternity with their father the devil.
But for the saved you will shine in My Kingdom with glory. But what will you be doing?
You know that I have always prepared a life for you that is fruitful and fulfilling. A life of goodness, majesty and splendor ruling over the works of My hands. And that will remain the same. I do not change, but it will be at an entirely different level of existence, for you and all creation.
So let us start a journey we can never finish but it is worth considering for it will shape all of your thoughts, actions and reactions in this present life if you renew your mind to these truths. It will open your eyes so that you will turn from darkness to light and from the dominion of Satan to My Kingdom, that you may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified by faith in Me. Acts 26:18. But further than that, you will begin to see the vastness of the repercussions that occur for your eternity of what you think, say, and do with your time in this world. It will determine the level of your position and assignments in eternity. This is very serious. Do not lose governing ten cities in the eternal Kingdom due to the wasting of your precious time on earth in frivolous and even evil pursuits. Do not so abuse your body here so that your dwelling there is compromised to far less than it would have been if you had only allowed Me to strengthen you by grace in self-control. Paul tells you that some of those in glorious bodies will not shine to the degree of others. 1 Corinthians 15:40-41. Think about that next time you become a nasty, malicious criticizer of others, tear the body of the Church apart in divisions and denominations, or stand up for gay rights contrary to My Word. Be careful how you walk. You may be saved but it will consume your reward, which are your assignments and level of glory in the Kingdom. I want you to receive your full reward. 2 John 1:8. All are complete and joyful there but there will be tears that I must wipe from your eyes. But I will be with all from the least to the greatest and all will see Me and experience righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit, but there is a difference between the son who serves Me and the one who does not. Malachi 3:16-18.
Now let us turn to My revelation to John of the heavenly City and to the new heavens and the new earth of eternity.
First of all you must know that earth and the heaven as you know them now, even though beautiful, are in a state of corruption and will not last. But by My word the present heavens and earth are being reserved for fire, kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men. 2 Peter 3:7. As I revealed to My apostle Peter by My Spirit, “But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its works will be burned up. Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, what sort of people ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be destroyed by burning, and the elements will melt with intense heat! But according to His promise we are looking for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells. Therefore, beloved, since you look for these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, spotless and blameless, and regard the patience of our Lord as salvation.” 2 Peter 3:10-15.
New Heavens and a new earth. If you look about the earth as it is now, the mountains, the seas, the forests, the rivers, the valleys, the waterfalls, and think it is beautiful you will be completely awed and stunned by what I have prepared for those who love Me and are Mine in the new Heavens and the new earth. It is beauty beyond beauty, colors beyond colors, and it is vast and peaceful. There is no longer any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things will have passed away. Revelation 21:4. All there is there is joy unspeakable filled with glory. And I dwell among you and you all have close contact with Me for fellowship, direction, assignments of creativity beyond all you can hope for that fit your unspoken dreams for grandeur and splendor.
And this heavenly Kingdom come down to join Heaven and earth as one is not all vast expanses of scenery beyond all you can imagine but it is a busy place that has a glorious city that comes to join with earth out of Heaven. And its builder and maker is Christ, My Son, as we form it together as one in the Spirit. He told you this, He said He was going to prepare a place for you.
And this city is amazing. And it is yours as much as Mine for you will reign with Me forever and ever. Revelation 22:5. This city is massive, laid out as a square but just as high as it is long. It has a great high wall surrounding it and twelve gates. It is filled with My glory and yours. The gates have the names of the twelve tribes of Israel and the foundation stones the names of the Apostles of the Lamb. And your names are in those as their descendants in the spirit and upon whom the edifice of your faith was built. It shines with a brilliance like a very costly stone, as a stone of crystal-clear jasper. The city is pure gold, like clear spun glass. The foundation stones of the city wall are adorned with every kind of precious stone. The first foundation stone is jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, chalcedony; the fourth, emerald; the fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, topaz; the tenth, chrysoprase; the eleventh, jacinth; the twelfth, amethyst. And the twelve gates are twelve pearls; each one of the gates is a single pearl. And the street of the city is pure gold, like transparent glass.
There is no temple in it, for I, the Lord God the Almighty, and the Lamb are its temple. And the city has no need of the sun or of the moon to shine on it, for My glory illumines it, and its lamp is the Lamb. And each of you will light it too. The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it. In the daytime (for there will be no night there) its gates will never be closed; and they will bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it.
Do you see there will still be nations and kings? And so will you be, kings of nations, governors of cities in a new empire of Mine and yours together. All peoples are part of it whose names at the Judgment are written in the Lamb’s book of life. As Daniel My prophet saw by revelation from Me: “But the court will sit for judgment, and his (Satan’s) dominion will be taken away, annihilated and destroyed forever. Then the sovereignty, the dominion and the greatness of all the kingdoms under the whole heaven will be given to the people of the holy ones of the Highest One; His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom, and all the dominions will serve and obey Him.” Daniel 7:26-27.
I revealed the same to John on the island of Patmos, “Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat upon it, from whose presence earth and heaven fled away, and no place was found for them. And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead which were in them; and they were judged, every one of them according to their deeds. Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.” Revelation 20:11-15.
And My prophet Isaiah gives you many glimpses into this new order of life in eternity. It is all new. It is Heaven and earth joined as one in a vast empire of beauty, majesty, and splendor beyond anything you have ever known or imagined. It is a thriving metropolis of cities and nations but with one capital city, the New Jerusalem, in which you all dwell and yet you also go to the environs to create and rule with Me. An amazing place, a wondrous place, where you are at last completely at peace, resting in the place where you belong. No one there is alone, no one is broken, and no one is unfulfilled. You are each full to the max of abundant life, more than you can hold which pours out in vast waves of joyful peace. Love is the atmosphere and it is tangibly felt, as the warmth of the sun on you on a cold day. It surrounds you and holds you up in perfect vibrant health and life. It is the true experience to the maximum of each member of the abundant life Jesus came to give you. It is eternal life.
And there the lion lies down with the lamb and there is no harm on My holy mountain, only blessing, the showers are showers of blessing.
And there is a feast prepared and the veil that covered all nations, shrouding them in darkness is removed, and the true light that enlightens every man fills all. All know Me. All see Me. And all experience love beyond love. And you have it flowing from Me to you as a river of life, clear as crystal, of which you all drink and then it flows from you to all the others in the Kingdom. It is truly the beautiful place where all brethren dwell as one and where the least feels the greatest for none feel any rejection or exclusion. It is a place of oneness in the One who loves you all beyond love and called you each to His Glory and Kingdom by name. Each has a place of grace where he or she knows she has at last come home—the home that you searched for all your life you have finally found. Or shall I say, it found you when you opened your heart to My Son. It was then you allowed your location to be known.
No one slumbers or sleeps there and the activities and the projects are as creative and limitless as My love for you is, there is no night, there is no darkness, there is no curse, and there is no division. And everything is filled with melody. Why? I have very carefully chosen you to be there based on where your heart was in the present life. What you do and say does matter. More than you know. If I can trust you in little things, I can entrust you with greater things and finally the greatest things of all.
I love you. Nothing is too little for Me to notice. Even a cup of cold water to one of My followers. Love one another. Care for one another. But above all keep My Word no matter what. Never give in to placate public opinion or to avoid conflict by compromising My Word, whether it be to keep your job or placate your family. I cannot reward you for that.
And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them, and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away.” And He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Revelation 21:3-5.
